Welcome to episode 14 of calgary zoo in planet zoo. Today a new animal area begins - wild canada! This canadian themed area features native animals in canada with a biome theme, the first is the prairies with prairie dogs and bison. While these did not make it to the real zoo, the original wild canada plan included them so why not!

Welcome to wild canada everyone, large naturalistic habitats for canadian animals will be the topic for the next month or 2! There are going to be slight modifications to this recreation such as this bison and prairie dog area which was featured in the original plan but never was built in the real zoo.

Love this, you should definitely add the new sculptures at the entrance of Wild Canada! They look like glass northern lights they are a very pretty opening to the entire area! 😊
