I used the premium version to try and convert GCP modules to AWS modules for terraform code and I found it was ok for scaffolding, but giving it existing code and asking it to try more complex features didn’t work at all e.g. If I wanted dynamic blocks, complex for_each or other things it was pretty useless. I asked it to scan a module and to help but it just told me to turn it into a module (it already was) and completely removed some features from the module. I asked it to turn one 10.0.0.0/16 block into 3 public subnets at /26 and 3 private into /24 but it just gave me all /26 subnets.
Dear Nana, I recently discovered your videos and want to express my deep gratitude for sharing such valuable content. Your courses are incredibly enriching, yet I believe there's an opportunity to make them more accessible to Indian students like myself. While the pricing may seem reasonable in US dollars, it translates to a substantial amount in Indian rupees, making it challenging for many students to afford. I kindly request that you consider adjusting the pricing to better suit the financial realities of Indian learners, perhaps by offering payment options in rupees or reducing the overall cost. Furthermore, I believe initiatives like technology transfer or add the courses on udemy or collaborations with local partners could greatly benefit Indian students and help disseminate your knowledge to a broader audience at the grassroots level. Your expertise could make a significant impact in our educational landscape.
I will try it for my personnal projects, unfortunatly for work they are NDA and my client do not want us to use IA tools. Thank you for giving an overview of the tools it will help me getting started faster.
I'm Terraform Certified--big whoop--reason I mention is because you can just read the docs instead of blindly trusting an Ai. Depending on your reading comprehension and technical aptitude, human brain power is still faster and more reliable. 🧠
where's a good place to start learning about AWS or cloud services? it's well paid, what businesses or grow opportunities there now with AI ahead? I desire to learn a new skill and consider programming is not that distinctive in today's world. What do you think? thank you so much for the help
Hi, I didn't find any system requirements (can I manage with my MAC book alone?) Are there deadlines in the projects, are there homework assignments that are checked by you and on which you get feedback? Or is it pure self learning at your own pace ? Thank You for any feedback to this questions :)
Hey Nana, Tq for sharing your knowledge. Can you give some tips when to you use terraform vs cloudformation with Amazon Q. Isit better than chatgpt 40 latest release?
I’m a bit new to all this but isn’t Q sourcing Amazon non-independent? I don’t know much about coding so maybe it’s different than confirmation bias with citation
@@TechWorldwithNana thanks for considering it! it would be great if you could delve into the differences between k3s and k8s, highlighting the key points that relate to deployment, management, and resource optimization. Additionally, a tutorial on how to effectively implement k3s in real-world scenarios would be immensely helpful for transitioning smoothly into using it in professional settings. Personally, I'd love to see practical examples and insights on best practices.
Hey is this free to use ? Or any limited quota if authenticated with builder ID ? I have read the documentation and it says it will charge after june 30, 2024. With builder ID which plan we're in ? Can you help me understand this ?
It's very good question though. CodeWhisperer should be more mature as it's been GA for a while by comparison. So what 'boost'does CodeWhisperer get if fronted by AmazonQ?
What do you think about Amazon's new AI coding assistant? Will you use it? Happy to hear your opinion on it 😊
Yes, definitely! I believe engineers with AI-in-hand is the future..
Indian dev's are gonna cry us a riverrr!! :D
I'll share it with our developers. How to use it to create a firmware of wireless access point?
It's going to eat jobs 😕
I love it Nana. I was coding terraform like crazy fast.
Coincidence to find your video on the same day I started using it. I started using this tool 8 hours prior to this video and it is amazing.
Great video, well prepared, highly organized and focused . Thank you !!

It super fast!!! Thank for your great demo!
Amazing video, congrats for the amazing work
Woww.. Excellent ... Thanks Nana for delivering this content quickly.
Awesome, you made it EASY!!!
I'd like to see the comparison with GH Copilot 🙂
Thanks for covering this Nana

I do completely agree 👍
Please check on this Nana
Game changer for developer experience!

I'm discovering it, an I'm Amazed. Very good explanation BTW, Congrants!
Nice clear and practical intro, danke
@techworldwithnana Can you please give me the repository endpoint that contains your project ?

I use it for my iac with my AWS scripts.

hi nana, do you plan doing a tutorial on k3s in future? thanks for your great content
For now I have not planned it, but will consider it. What would be interesting for you to see in the video?

Interesting, does it work with SST framework?
Excellent insights

Hmm… how would this be different from code whisperer?
Features of CodeWhisperer are moving to Amazon Q Developer

Hi nana actually ur hidden ur email id while typing in the text box.
But in duration of 8.45 its visible in verification code page
Thanks.
Thanks!
why not just check terraform documentation? it's that easy
thanks
