All You Can Vegas I really like that most of the portions are set up in individual dishes, small pans etc. No one digging around in the food. Very tidy clean buffet. And what a variety. Over whelming.
You certainly made just about everything look & sound yummy! I'll have to try to try it out next time we're in Vegas. This was certainly the best buffet I've seen you review.
One of your best man. I love how you don’t try to pretend to be an expert. You just say what you like and why. I’m really curious about those snails now! I look forward to your stuff every week, your dedication is appreciated. Thanks Derek!
As someone who is Southeast Asian, pandan is a leaf that is used as a spice/flavoring in (mostly)desserts in Southeast Asia and South Asia. It's used for its aroma, flavoring, and color. In Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam you'll see bright green colored desserts made with pandan. It matches really well with coconut, and it can be used as a spice in savory dishes.
All You Can Vegas I remember that pandan leaf was used on plain steam rice. My friend is Filipino and they used it for aroma. It’s a big difference for just adding a simple leaf.
Wow, we feel like we're right there at the best buffet ever! The diversity and quality of the food is superb. We all need to plan a 2019 vacay to Caesars now! Great video!
So happy you did this one! Loved it! You're hilarious D! You're expressions are priceless and your seafood eaten skills are too funny! For a foodie you really need a few pointers in some areas but, you're doing great! Thanks for doing this.
Love this video. Just a tip the next time that you get mashed potato and gravy, mound up your potato then use the back of the spoon in the middle to make a well in the middle. then you have a good place to put your gravy. You'll never un out of gravy again. Old diner trick. Take care.
I will be in Vegas next week, so I have watched a few videos on the Bacchanal....I have to say you were entertaining. I burst out in laughter at some points...the seafood plate was my favorite. Thanks for being informative and funny.
Awesome Video Derek I don't know why but I love watching these types of video it puts a smile to my face. I guess it's because I don't have the chance to experience it in person. Oh well, thank you for creating such great contents.
There's a reason the King Crab station was 75% of the way down the line. $55 gives the restaurant a lot of margin, since a lot of that stuff (stews/soups, breads, hors d'oeuvres, etc.) can be produced in batches very cheaply. King Crab legs will always be expensive, and it's entirely possible for somebody to come in hungry and devour more than $55 in steamed King Crab. The odds of this are greatly increased if you let them at the crab before they fill up their plate with bread and salad.
Haha You would have flung that snail 30 feet if it let go. The crab gave you a run for your money even though it was dead and you had a weapon. The amazement on your face when you finally cracked it was hysterical. That rib almost rendered you unconscious lol. Very entertaining, you killed this one!
Another great video Derek! There were many times during this video that I laughed out loud. Your sense of humor is one of the main reasons you are my favorite on UA-cam. Aloha! 🌺
Maybe one day you can do a video called, "All You Can Derek" and let us know a little bit more about you. Another great buffet video. I'll be in Vegas this coming Friday and I have so many ideas thanks to you!
The Bacchanal is the most decadent dining experience I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them. I love seafood, specifically shellfish, and you can't go wrong with any of those. The Dungeness crab is excellent, all the shellfish is. Always hot, steamy and fresh tasting (unlike most casino buffets.) And their meat station is wonderful. The duck is really good too. Even though the breads and pastas are tempting, for what you're paying I pass them up. Great video, thanks.
@@AllYouCanVegas You're welcome! Like all buffets you have to seek out the foods you enjoy. I've watched your videos for quite a while now, I love Vegas and everything about it. Like Sinatra said, it's my kind of town. It's not for everyone but we always had a good time there, going back to the mid 1970's. Caesars Palace has always had a good buffet over the years.
So glad I found your channel I live in Las Vegas and when can I’m going to every restaurant you’ve tried!!!! Especially this one it’s the first one I’m going to eat at!
Now that is what I call a buffet! O hear it's the best in town and it looks like 55 dollars are well spent. I don't do well at buffets. Eventhough I weigh 210 pounds I can't eat very much in one sitting. So the only way I could do it is to sit there for 4 to 6 hours and nibble on a little at a time. How do you do it?
Now THAT'S what I call a great buffet. The lamb tagine looked so good. I've never had it but looked up the spices used in the recipe and that's my kind of food. Plus the osso bucco and prime rib.
I've eaten at the Bacchanal 2x and each time very memorable. They had prime rib bones and I had to go back for more. They were that good! Never see those in a buffet Mmmm can't wait to go back and do it again. Price isn't an issue.
This looks amazing. I've never being to vegas, but the day that i go, ill make sure to stop by. This is an awesome videos because you showed all the food in there. Thanks for the video. 👍👍👍👍
I'm loving the channel, but I do have to make a MAJOR complaint. You've shown me SO MANY places that I say to myself "I need to eat there on my next trip," but there is no way I'll be able to get to all of them over the 6 days I'll be out there!! It's frustrating LOL! I've done Bacchanal once before but I'm thinking I need to hit it again on my trip in January. That and the buffet at Treasure Island.
When I visit Vegas, I always plan to go to the Bacchanal or even the Sterling, but never do. Great food there, but I’m always stuffed & don’t want to pay that much if I don’t have the appetite. Great review though of this buffet. 👍
@OG Readmore I'm the same way!! I can never eat that much, I get full really quickly so I always feel it's a waste of money. So I don't go. I live in Vegas and can go anytime but I don't. I just cook at home. Saves me money. Lol Maybe I'll go one of these days just for the sake of going. But I have to admit, it's not a top priority. Lol
I live in Canada and will never get there but really enjoy watching your tours of the different buffet places available in Las Vegas. I love good food too.
The sea snails, as I’m sure you’ve had time to figure out, are related to the Escargot family, and as such, are best eaten with a snail tong to hold it, and special long fork similar to the escargot fork. See how Julia Roberts did it in Pretty Woman.
Wow, it looks delicious and there are some unique things on that menu. When I went 2 years ago, I named it the blandest buffet experience I’d ever had. Maybe I’ll give it another shot.
Your facial expressions crack me up! When you love some thing your eyes either pop or roll back. When it seems so so, not much expression. Please don't get into a game of poker and keep these awesome reviews coming!
I am a huge seafood junkie! What you needed to do with the snails is soak them in the hot butter! 1) It would give them a great flavour, and 2) it would help you get them out a ton easier! When you suggested using the crab claw crackers on it, and then saw you try to do it! You had me rolling! That was hilarious!
Your "elk burger eyes" were so expressive! And despite not loving seafood, you refuse to give up on it! I am so impressed by that :-) Great video, as always.
"It's not like you're trying to beat the casino" ... LOL, great line. And so true. If you feel like eating a plate-full of mac & cheese at a pricey buffet, go for it!
I too believe in eating what you like for dinner. It is cool to try new things, but no need to overdo it since the new things may not be very good, and it may ruin your dinner. I only eat the veggies at Bucchanal. My friend eats all the seafood and crab legs for two.
Elk meat is so yummy. Glad you tried it. If done right no wild taste and you can cut with a fork. That looks like a great buffet. Been to Vegas 8 times and have done 2 buffets only. Will try another one soon after watching all your videos.
we've done the brunch a couple times, and it's unreal. going to the dinner for the 1st time next week, so really appreciate seeing this tour! know what i'll pass on and what i want to try. i agree with your eating philosophy: do a mix of trying something you've never had, with items you REALLY want!
Great video as always... I was there a couple of weeks ago for a weekday brunch...so a few things which weren't there oysters, dungeness crab, bone marrow, wagyu beef... So people do point out that Bacchanal seem unnecessarily expensive compared to other buffets, so in that context I must say the flavor is on point for everything I tasted at the Bacchanal... A couple days later I went for the Studio B buffet on a Friday which was the Prime Rib day...the prime rib was decent but I kept comparing it to the Bacchanal prime rib which was way better and that was pretty much the same for everything else...I mean if i had not tried the bacchanal earlier I would most probably have loved the Studio B buffet... I mean I paid almost double at the Bacchanal so i cannot really argue about Value for money but taste and flavor wise Bacchanal was better
Great job as usual Derek. The multi-plate strategy, with a light dessert in between, makes perfect sense.... Portions of humor cracks me up. Don’t forget my tip of grabbing a small bowl of lemons when you want to arrive take it back to your table. Lemon juice and napkins will remove grease easily. Plus she smells like lemons, plus if you forgot to wash your hands before sitting down to dinner, well in Las Vegas, you really wanna wash your hands before you eat... People from all over the world hitting that spin button for 12 hours...
Your reaction to the different foods are absolutely hilarious. The videos are very informative and “peeing in your pants “ funny. Keep bringing them in. Good job.
I really like it when you try new food items. I never would of tried the pandan as I didn't know what it was. And thanks to you and another one of your followers I do now know.
2:36 into video. I'm hooked. This buffet looks amazing to say the least. $55 Well worth it. It's a must try. I think last buffet I tried in Vegas was Excalibur, 15 yrs ago🤔😂
Love all of your All You Can Eat Buffet s videos I ‘m from NYC and I love Las Vegas/Henderson NV you are my favorite favorite Go to guide to everything bout Las Vegas..I use to live in Henderson NV Green Valley area which I miss soooo much hope to move back there within 1 to 2 years ..living in North Western Arizona area ..can you please do a video on Green Valley Ranch Casino in Henderson NV Thank You you truly are the best # 1 ciao
Escargot is on of my favorites!! Dip it in garlic butter!! I also adore almost all seafood but I have never tried raw oysters. Not sure about that one. Actually I just love food!! 😂😂😂 We all have to eat. I love exotic or off the standard food lists items bone marrow and gelatinous collagen parts of meats so much. Like ham hocks, pigs feet, pigs ears, oxtails, osso bucco, etc. I love truffle, caviar, pandan, mochi, and exotic fruits and veggies. Very few things I don't like. Beets and liver and intestines are major nasty to my palate. For $55 though I want to be there at the beginning of dinner and slowly eat my way through the buffet taking time to enjoy each dish and start out with seafood at is freshest and since it does not fill me very fast, followed by very small samples of various soups, then to small samples of Asian offerings, and then move on to the heavy hitters like meats and sides. Starting with the premium meats of course. I need a buffet. We don't have many buffets here in OKC these days. We used to have a lot more of them but most have gone away. Thanks for sharing❣️ 🤔. Now that you know what I like pass me a plate next time with my favorites. PS. I always have the turkey with stuffing/dressing and gravy with cranberry sauce when it's available too because it's my top comfort dish combo. 🦃 for the WIN❣️ Happy Thanksgiving‼️ 1️⃣💜👸🏻
Derek, I always watch your videos while I’m on the exercise bike, hoping to lose weight as I dream about all this food. This buffet looked so amazing, I think I put on a couple of Pounds! Great upload!

Derrick why do you eat the seafood if you don't like seafood? Lol
I can't believe all that for around $50.
Is that 7 days a week price, or is the weekend higher?
You certainly made just about everything look & sound yummy! I'll have to try to try it out next time we're in Vegas. This was certainly the best buffet I've seen you review.

I just posted a comment about the sinigang! I forgot to mention the "bitter" is from the tamarind - I might need to edit :) Ingat!
P.S. My fav Jollibee drink is the Buko Pandan shake yummy sarap :)
That buffet was so CLEAN, no food dropping anywhere, no mess counters!!! You and seafood have a love hate relationship, lol...
I know! lol
Same for me when I was there (last week). Super clean, and the food constantly being restocked. It was impressive.

They'd have to wheel me out of that place on a gurney. I'd make damn sure I got my $55 worth, lol
I would like to try those elk burgers and those t-bone lamb steaks.
Your reaction to the different foods are absolutely hilarious. The videos are very informative and “peeing in your pants “ funny. Keep bringing them in. Good job.
the salmon looked really good
I really like it when you try new food items. I never would of tried the pandan as I didn't know what it was. And thanks to you and another one of your followers I do now know.
Now I know too!
Once again, you never fail to impress me Derek.
Thanks, Charlie!
2:36 into video. I'm hooked. This buffet looks amazing to say the least. $55 Well worth it. It's a must try. I think last buffet I tried in Vegas was Excalibur, 15 yrs ago🤔😂

'PANDAN' is a type of leaf, smells like vanilla....
Looks like one of the best buffets I have seen you go to.
🦃 for the WIN❣️
Happy Thanksgiving‼️

Raw oysters go straight through me unprocessed. TMI, I suppose...

Thanks, Paul!
"If i cant get it out,i wont be tasting it" Thats what she said......!
Derek, I always watch your videos while I’m on the exercise bike, hoping to lose weight as I dream about all this food. This buffet looked so amazing, I think I put on a couple of Pounds! Great upload!
Thanks, Andovarius!
There is a pick that pulls out those sea snails....lol.
Or, they have that little fork for that kind of snag! LOL
@@eml-0404 yes....exactly...they have 2 kinds of tools that I have seen for the snails.
