Art object "Sad Bunny", Yekaterinburg

Walking through the historical center of the city of Yekaterinburg, we noticed an unusual art object in the form of a sad hare with an open book of poems by Agnia Barto. The sad hare is comfortably located on the corner of Lenin Street - March 8 (near the gymnasium N9, Lenin Avenue, 33).
At first we thought that this art object was dedicated to the children's writer Agniya Barto, who during the Great Patriotic War was evacuated in the city of Yekaterinburg and lived at the address: March 8 Street, Building 1. But, everything turned out to be much deeper.
According to the idea of ​​the author Dmitry Karasyuk, the sculpture of a sad bunny is the personification of all the children who were evacuated to the Urals during the Great Patriotic War, as well as the poetess Agniya Barto, whose poem is also immortalized in tribute to the memory of the children of the war. May there be a peaceful sky above the heads of all people in the world!
