To be fair, it's not really a cliffhanger if they don't know what they're doing next. Many people avoided even watching the first season until the second one was set in stone.
When I saw this, I told all of my friends it was the most stressful episode of television I had seen in years. I literally paused the episode so I could stand up and walk around for a moment I was so stressed LMAO. I totally understand Milena in this video.
I don't really consider it a cliffhanger. All three of them succeed in the "mission". Helly attacks Lumon, Irving will get Burt to come to the door, and with Gemma's picture in his hand and Devon having just heard "she's alive", Mark will be on the path to finding his wife.
Milena's reaction at 13:40 is one of the greatest things I've ever seen 🤣 Actually, the entire reaction is great. You two losing your minds was hilarious. This episode is full of great moments, but one of my favorites that I expected to hit harder for you two was Helly's apology. To bring that little thing back after several episodes was so unexpectedly satisfying.
He didn't say Gemma's name but when he went to say she's alive he still had the frame with her picture in his hand, so Devon will understand. He got to do as much as he could at that moment before Dylan was taken down, just as Helly, Irving didn't tho, so sad.
My bold prediction is that we only truly know the exact moment when Mark S switched back to his outtie self. And it’s just implied that the last we saw of Helly and Irving is when they switched back too. But I think we might get a few more unexpected moments with the other innies still on the outside, especially with Irving and Bert. But we’ll see soon enough.
Remember when you both were like; not sure what this show is…low expectations 😅 And now the second it ends you both are like; I NEED THE TRAILER NOW, I need something! We can’t wait 2 months for season 2! 😂
4 minutes into the reaction, and I love you guys SOOO much! Haven't even started the episode, and you are upset over the length of the episode. You both are so deeply in touch with the content, you GET IT so quickly and so fully.
Irving must have already been a Lumon employee before he got severed. That would explain his residual memories of the testing floor, as well as his posession of all that employee information.
I always wondered if people could functionally be 'reset' down in the testing floor, and just the same as people hold subconscious memories between severance, if he could've retained some memory of it.
I mean it was a pretty bold decision to make the finale this short. Pretty much everybody has the same reaction when they first see the running time, and it's not a positive one. But it turns out they knew what they were doing.
Irving and his Innie dream about each other, and so Outside Irving has been using artistic free-association to paint the places he dreams of, and trying to learn more about Lumon. He's gotten hold of some kind of personnel list, and seeing which names seem to elicit some feeling or recognition. That's what I reckon. I also think that Irving is a former assassin in the US special forces, like Navy Seal or Delta Force, and that's why he lives alone and does art, and drives an old sports car and plays Motorhead when he paints. He is potentially the most dangerous person to Lumon if that's true.
I know you guys probably watched this weeks ago on Patreon, but the trailer you watched was a teaser. A full trailer has since been released with a surprising amount of information, it would be great to see you guys make a video analysing that one. You two are so good at this, you picked up so much more clues than l did when l watched it!❤
One theory that I agree with is that Irwin worked in management, but did something Lumon didn't like, so they severed him as punishment. They essentially let him keep his job, but no longer has any access. Lumon likely doesn't realize he has all of that paperwork.
I’m guessing Revolving is when they switch to the next CEO, so when Jame retires and Helena takes over. That’s my personal theory at least. Also, I think you guys should rewatch ep 3 bc you always seem to forget that Jame is the current CEO and Kier is long dead lol
They packed SO much into that 40 minutes, so I was totally fine with the episode length. From now on, maybe watch it before you freak out about the time. 😝 And it was a STRESSFUL 40 minutes, so it was more than enough!
So the staff actually created an official LinkedIn page for Lumon Industries, which provides some background clues. Irving is listed as having worked for Lumon for 9 years. This matches his employee number ending in 454, which is far lower than the 3 other MDR employees (900s). Since Irving's innie says he's been working in MDR for only 3 years, it is implied he has held some other position(s) in Lumon for the 6 years prior to that. Perhaps Irving was once a non-severed employee in a similarly high-ranking hole like Milchik's? Or perhaps his severed memories were reset when he began working at MDR?
My theory about Irving is that he originally worked in O&D and formed an attachment with Burt while there. It makes sense based on his age and artistic talent. I think Lumon wiped his Innie memories and that was when he and Burt went to the testing floor. It was likely a traumatic experience and is in his memory somewhere. It appears Outie Irving is suspicious about Lumon and has been doing his own research. He seems to be intentionally depriving himself of sleep to trigger his Innie to doze off at work. Sleep is prohibited for the Innies because it seems the Outie memories can seep through during sleep which is why Irv kept seeing the black paint and hearing the song.
We’ve been waiting 3 years for the next season! It’s been torture! Hoping we get some answers next season. I’ve watched season 1 multiple times and it never gets old. Truly the perfect first season.
I've watched you two react to a few series but I think this is my favorite one. Not because of the series (which I loved) but because of your investment in it and your priceless reactions. This last episode I thought you might have a heart attack in that last ten minutes. Great job guys and can't wait for the new season.
I think that severyng Helena has a deeper reasons, that will be revealed in season 2. Helena is going to contunie her work with numbers, and I think it's also important.
Not sure how early in advance these reactions are filmed compared to when they go up on UA-cam but if you really wanted a trailer with more substance, the official trailer has also already been released showing a LOT more than the teaser you watched. I get why a lot of reaction channels don’t watch trailers but this show is so good I would be foaming at the mouth for anything to hold me over until January if I were you two. Might be worth checking out.
But we’ll see soon enough, your reactions were amazing as always.
My girls, our GIRLS! Going through that finale with you two was the best-worst thing!! Brilliant reactions to the whole season, but also I felt bad because I (we) know how it felt to be stressed over the finale AND going over everything again because this darn show just grabs you like no other!! Lucky you, not that long to wait now. 🙃 And YES, so much to unpack about Irving. Tracking names of severed employees. Painting the hallway that Gemma goes down. Maybe Burt too, or himself??
It's unfortunate for the showrunners but with shows being discontinued left and right without notice, you can only really recommend it now with the next season right around the corner.
You did such a very good job on guessing much better than me and much better than a lot of people. Are you planning on watching the actual trailer after the teaser?
You guys should focus less on episode length. It only matters what they do with the time, and every episode is packed with stuff, especially the finale.
So, i don't think Irving is painting the break room, I believe he is painting the hallway that has the Elevator that goes Down. There is a red triangle above the door.
I enjoy your reactions except for one thing. Your frequent use of “f@@k” occasionally causes me to turn off the episode. This is probably a generational thing, but thought I would mention it.
Imagine being left on this cliffhangar for YEARSSSS!
I've been waiting so long! LOL
I think it's should be illegal
it was so rough dude
As one who was watching attack on titan from the start: first time?
To be fair, it's not really a cliffhanger if they don't know what they're doing next. Many people avoided even watching the first season until the second one was set in stone.
i’ve been hearing the echo of “She’s alive!!” in my head for 2 years. I’m not too mad that you get to experience this for 2 months.
When I saw this, I told all of my friends it was the most stressful episode of television I had seen in years. I literally paused the episode so I could stand up and walk around for a moment I was so stressed LMAO. I totally understand Milena in this video.
SAME!!!
Last such episode was ozmandias from breaking bad. But this episode is on another level literal masterpiece. Every second is just pure cinema.
Another stressful episode is the Christmas one from The Bear, very recommended show and episode
@@vegpedro7632 yea you are right loved this episode
Hahaha welcome to the Severance finale blue balls. One of the biggest cliffhangers in recent tv
I don't really consider it a cliffhanger. All three of them succeed in the "mission". Helly attacks Lumon, Irving will get Burt to come to the door, and with Gemma's picture in his hand and Devon having just heard "she's alive", Mark will be on the path to finding his wife.

Lol the only reason i searched for reactions is to see others suffer. Ya'll did not disappoint
"I'm going in disappointed because it's too short."
Man, if I had a nickel for every time I've heard that...
I mean it was a pretty bold decision to make the finale this short. Pretty much everybody has the same reaction when they first see the running time, and it's not a positive one. But it turns out they knew what they were doing.
@toddjh, it was a penis joke😂😂

You guys are so LUCKY, we've been waiting for 3 years
8 whole weeks huh? Cant believe its been 2 years already 😂
When the credits start, I love how Lola looks at the camera smiling, like she's being pranked.
This show still hits so hard on a rewatch. Still get chills during those final few minutes of the finale!
Felt as insane watching you two react to this as I did the first time I saw it!!! One of the best finales of all time
I know you guys probably watched this weeks ago on Patreon, but the trailer you watched was a teaser.
A full trailer has since been released with a surprising amount of information, it would be great to see you guys make a video analysing that one.
You two are so good at this, you picked up so much more clues than l did when l watched it!❤
Haha, I knew you'd recognize the man as Walter Bishop from Fringe!
The day after I finished this episode I think I told everyone I knew they had to watch this show
One theory that I agree with is that Irwin worked in management, but did something Lumon didn't like, so they severed him as punishment. They essentially let him keep his job, but no longer has any access. Lumon likely doesn't realize he has all of that paperwork.
Man. This AND THEN Arcane!?!? Two phenomenal shows back to back. Whoah!
I’m guessing Revolving is when they switch to the next CEO, so when Jame retires and Helena takes over. That’s my personal theory at least. Also, I think you guys should rewatch ep 3 bc you always seem to forget that Jame is the current CEO and Kier is long dead lol

Twin Peaks fans... "Try waiting 25 years for a new season" 😂
I’ve been sitting on this cliffhanger for almost THREE FREAKING YEARS
So the staff actually created an official LinkedIn page for Lumon Industries, which provides some background clues.

i literally started crying when this ended and when you guys felt disappointed I cried again cuz I remember that feeling

@0:10 technically we only have to wait ONE month until season 2 premieres (January 17th)! Can’t believe it’s almost here 😱
I think that severyng Helena has a deeper reasons, that will be revealed in season 2. Helena is going to contunie her work with numbers, and I think it's also important.

I almost felt bad recommending the series to my friends knowing the torture of waiting for a new season after this insane cliffhanger.
Finished the show yesterday and watched all reactions!! So sad and yet feel fortunate in only needing to wait 5 weeks for season 2.
My girls, our GIRLS! Going through that finale with you two was the best-worst thing!! Brilliant reactions to the whole season, but also I felt bad because I (we) know how it felt to be stressed over the finale AND going over everything again because this darn show just grabs you like no other!!

Man, you brought all my anxiety back, WHY?! WHYYYYYY?!
the hysterical laughs at the end lol -- don't worry this emotional dmg is going to be covered by Arcane's emotional dmg
January 17 Mark S back to office ❤️🔥
I am so glad I watched this a month before the next seson comes out. So hyped!
Milena in unbearable pain this episode LMAO
How did you guys think Cobel was going to help them? Like she has not been one of the main antagonists.
I manage to avoid watching the trailer for this long, just for you to put it on 😂..
The other trailer has way more in it, so it could’ve been way more of a spoiler. Kinda wish I was going in more blind like you are, it looks so good.
I’ve watched so many of your videos, seasons of shows, do not remember any of them playing with your emotions so much lol
I think you both should react to "Look Back" when ya get the chance
HAHAHAHAHAHAH I fucking love your reactions!!
now that you're done you should read the Lexington letter!!! it's a canon short story that you can find online and has some really interesting lore 👀
That ending is one of the greatest cliffhangers in tv history.
You guys need to join Severance subreddit. There are some really amazing theories there.
You are so lucky you didn't have to wait nearly 3 years for S2 lol
Lola and Milena, you only watched the "Severance" SE2 Teaser.
Please react to the "Severance" SE2 Trailer.
It's unfortunate for the showrunners but with shows being discontinued left and right without notice, you can only really recommend it now with the next season right around the corner.
Omg I was just about to go to sleep but I have to watch this. Who needs good sleep for an exam anyway.
Was waiting for THAT one
the good news is season 2 starts in a few weeks in January 2025!
You did such a very good job on guessing much better than me and much better than a lot of people. Are you planning on watching the actual trailer after the teaser?
Milena masterclass
y'all need to start bingeing these shows youre getting too many surprises before they actually happen because you think about these too much
You guys should focus less on episode length. It only matters what they do with the time, and every episode is packed with stuff, especially the finale.
the official trailer for season 2 is out
Are you guys going to react to Jujutsu Kaisen in the future any time soon possibly?👀
Their fanbase is generally against it. It's not getting watched until 2026, if at all

So, i don't think Irving is painting the break room, I believe he is painting the hallway that has the Elevator that goes Down. There is a red triangle above the door.
They would’ve done it without her saying that as a little girl. 😂
She is determined to call him Irwing. Which is a first name I've never heard before in my life lol.
It’s an ESL issue.
You two are funny....We had to wait 2 years !........so.....relax. lol
Day 139 of asking LM reacts to see gurren lagann
How would you know if helly is part of Lumon? What leads you to believe that? Have you looked up information prior to watching?
It seems like they guessed it pretty early.
I enjoy your reactions except for one thing. Your frequent use of “f@@k” occasionally causes me to turn off the episode. This is probably a generational thing, but thought I would mention it.
Same actually
Dafuq?
@@isthatyoursomnomnom right? crazy comment from them...
People have used the word fuck for generations, so no it isn't a generational thing. Now I want them to use it twice as much.
