How can I filter Employee access so they can only view and update their own information on the Tap of Employee? But the Approver can view and access all Data

Thanks for watching and for your encouraging support! You can filter employee access in your Leave Application app so they can only view and update their own information on the Employee tab while allowing approvers to view and access all data.
One effective method is to use the Role in the Employee table combined with Security Filters on the Leave Request table.
If you need a detailed step-by-step guide, feel free to ask! And don't forget to join our membership for more in-depth tutorials and support.

@@AnotherTechTips thank you for your respone I watch your previous Video and It's was fixed now,
However I have one more question:
How to restrict the Annual leave Form in Appsheet for useremail from the same department and same position?
Example: If Users A and B are from the same department and have the same position, they will not be able to fill out the Annual Leave form for the same date.
However, User C comes from the same department as A and B but has a different position. So, User C is able to request Annual Leave for the same date as User B or C.

@@Clipsbykim2 Thank you for your response! I'm glad to hear the previous video helped you fix the issue. I appreciate your support, and if you really enjoy our content, please consider using Super Thanks or joining our membership. Your support is crucial for maintaining the channel.
Regarding your question on restricting the Annual Leave form in AppSheet for users from the same department and position:
To achieve this, you can add a validation check during input start date and end date.
However, my suggestion is to allow anyone to apply for leave on the any day. The approver can then decide whose leave to approve. You can manage this by tweaking the approval action. For example, if a leave request for the same period, department, and position is already approved, the approval action for new requests can be hidden.
This approach gives more flexibility and control to the approvers while simplifying the leave request process for users.
Thank you for your continued support, and I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
