5 days of Wide Open Baja was THE BEST time I’ve ever had. The 4 guys that came with, and the others on the drive all said the same. It’s an experience well worth the time/money.
A day's drive down I-5 from almost anywhere in CA and then weeks of this. Oh, do the camping thing instead of hotels/resorts. Saves lots of $$$ and you won't be surrounded by tourists being awful.
This car is built to do one thing and one thing only - *break every single bone in your body.* It still looks like bloody good fun though, albeit extremely painful...

how much costs the trip?
That intro is meme worthy. 😅
I don't get how this channel stays running with such high production values. It definitely isn't from UA-cam ad revenue.
They're supported by RoadShow and CNET.
Definitely one of the best on UA-cam.. Carfection deserves more subscribers! You can see the work that goes into their videos..
HA HA HA HA

1:40 Darin was our guide for the pre run for the 2016 Baja 1000 ! Awesome guy! The whole Wide Open group made us feel like rock stars!
"There's blisters on my fingers and a ringing in my ears and I've loved every single minute of it."
Looks awesome, and knackering! You totally burned that guy with the beer lol
This was fun to watch.
That intro should be a meme lmaooo
Looks mighty fun. Why not a windscreen? At one point I thought the car would fill up completely with sand!
These videos NEVER disappoint
You really need to get a try on a trophy truck. Call the Baldwin's, the Herbs or Roby Gordon.
just watching the intro already made me laugh
The Baja peninsula fantastic place
How many times did his head ping the roof?
Car looks like fun you think a 290 pound guy could fit in that?
One question. Why not a WRX or STI engine instead?
Carfection ahhh ok, makes sense
Would Nomad survived this race bare stock?
Hi Carfection, Can I share your page?
Someone needs to take an Ariel Nomad down there
Hazerion nope, he needs a trophy truck.
I like the mint 400 race

That was fantastic! One thing though, while the Baja is an awesome race, it's not the most epic off road race. That would be Dakar, without question.
Jiggle to the max!
dakar...
it's not that funny is it? what's with the laugh?
Less talking, more driving
