Me and my buddies were looking forward to this for months. I hadn’t been to a hardcore show in Detroit in 20 years. Gotta say it was so good to see the new bands and fuckin classic to see the old guard again. All 5 of the veteran bands were top notch. Freddie is still a mad man up there. Aaron from Death Threat still has that awesome vocal delivery. Scott from Terror is still Mr. Hardcore and as great as ever. Integrity knocked me back as I had never seen them live. It was a perfect set and Dwid was fantastic. And finally, COLD AS LIFE. Jeff was amazing and I’m so grateful to see him perform again. I miss the version of the band I remember seeing all those years ago, but just seeing Jeff again was so great and he seemed so happy to be there. Born to Land Hard is my favourite hardcore album of all time and it’s not even close. Awesome venue too. Coulda used a chair here and there, but thumbs ups all around. Thanks for the vid.
That is a great summary of the day and review of the show. What a great way to bring in the new while respecting the past! I absolutely agree about some chairs being available in between lol. Took days for my back to recover from 10 hours of standing!

@@thejondohhshow I was at the Triple B weekend shows at Brooklyn Monarch a couple of weeks ago. Terror, Madball, Mindforce, and the whole Triple B/Streets of Hate bands. Were you at those shows too?
anyone know why roy wasn't on drums for this? judging from an interview him and jeff did together a few years back i thought they were good, after that reunion jeff wasn't part of.

I want to know the answer to this as well. I was expecting him on drums based on previous interviews I had read.
To my knowledge, Jeff didn’t like how Roy kept the band going while he was incarcerated
