oooo niceee.. happy to find your channel. and monsoon ooo.. noo.. am happy where i live we dont have so much monsoon and only like normal rain season .
I don’t mind the rain at all. I used to walk in the rain to work everyday in Jeju. I would just wear sandals and then change when I got to work. No point in trying to stay dry..
Thanks for sharing your experience! We love that you made videos like this. We have never been to Korea and it has been on our to list for the longest time!!! We are joining your channel so we can see what to expect!! Love it! Haha Koreans wear long pants. Actually that's a lot of Asians because they want to be protected from the sun and like you said, going into malls is ALWAYS cold. It's much easier to take off clothes than to put on if you are not carrying enough. Would love to know more about the history of how you have been living in Korea!!!! Can't wait to check out more! We enjoyed the whole video
I immediately thought of my summer Japan trips... It rained almost every day during my two week trip last year. Anyway, I’m glad to hear that the rainy season is over for you now... the humidity isn’t fun at all. Ha, I also remember showering in Japan, and then I’d shave my face and be sweating terribly by the time I was done.. I hope you can enjoy the fall. And nice tips, as well
I can't believe how insanely long it was this year and then 3 typhoons?! What's even happening anymore lol. omg have no idea how Koreans wear pants, not only is it super hot, but they get so wet! I've actually seen a lot of young people wearing rain ponchos this time haha. My shoe tip mostly for work or school is to just wear slippers and bring socks in my bag and then when I get to work, I dry my feet and put on my socks and switch into my work slippers. Never heard of summer fatigue but that makes so much sense! Always so exhausted in hot weather! Love the video! It's so chill!
Spoiler - typhoon season is not over yet T_T The somewhat good thing is that it wasn't sooo hot this summer?! Ah really? I didn't see them! But I'm also working from home and don't go out a lot. 🙈 Very smart shoe tip! Thanks for the recommendation ;) I love the slipper lifestyle here and how people have their home slippers, but then also outside slippers for a quick grocery run or any other brief outside business. This year I'm paying a lot of attention to my health (for obvious reasons lol) and I also might be slightly hypochondriacal, but when I found out about summer fatigue it all made sense. It was such a relief ;) Thanks for watching~ I'm glad you liked it!! :))
@@Victoria_Lee I'm actually so thankful because this was so much better than Korean summer lol. Yessss slipper culture is coming back with me to Australia. I don't care what anyone says lol. What's that? :o Yeah, I thought I was like in bad health but I'm glad science can make me feel good about myself 😂
Ohh! I didn't know that I had not subscribed you yet..., then now I DID it! haha Your video makes me want to go to Korea for cafe and foooood... even though it is too humid...!!!
Excuse me, Sir? And I thought we're internet friends ;D Yes, please visit one day and let's have lots of food and coffee haha! You're probably used to humidity, because it also gets very humid in Japan ;)
My dear Miriam 🧡🥰 Listening to each other for hours, we‘re good at that, aren’t we?! ;D I‘m glad you liked it! Hope you‘ll also drop a new video soon, I‘m so curious about your life back in Copenhagen!!! 😘
Aww Great Video.. Jang ma! Nice Word :)) Thanks for the Good Info on the Korean Monsoon and Summer.. Your Transparent Umbrella is So Beautiful! Changgyeong Palace View is Amazing! Korean Traditional Soup Samgyetang & Korean Dessert Bingsu looks So Delicious! Yes You are a White Person, so try Tropical Fruits like Jackfruit, Mango, Lemon, Orange , Papaya.. in summer .. Drink more water! The Tropical and Sunny environment is good.. It provides more Vitamin D :)) I love the Traditional Bamboo & Paper folding hand fan from East Asia :)) The Mountain and City view from Your Apartment is Amazing! Thanks for the Video.. Greetings from Kerala :)) God bless!
Hi Dixon! The umbrella is cute, right?! Are they also popular in India? Thanks a lot for your tips, I‘m sure you’re a monsoon pro since you‘ve experienced far more than I did ;) Right, vitamin D, my mom and aunt also always remind me of that! I‘m not the biggest friend of sitting in the sun, but I‘m a big fan of tropical fruits! Due to the monsoon season the prices of fresh vegetables and fruits increases a lot recently, but it’s over now, so I‘ll keep my eyes peeled ;D Thanks for your nice comment!! Greetings from Seoul!! :))
We didn't know rainy season was this serious. 54 days?! By the way, we love watching a slice of life in Seoul through your videos. See-through umbrellas are the best. Would love to have activity cafes here. We can get behind the chicken ginseng soup. Korean pancakes too!! The mosquitos are a pain here too around this time :-( So sad to har about the new corona cases. Nabol wants to know why aren't Koreans bothered by the heat as much as Westerners? Great video! :-)
omg the monsoon season was crazy this year. Paired with covid it was driving me crazy. Luckily I didn't face any damage or anything so I was lucky in that area. lol you're right too the humidity was out of control too, great tips 🙂
Hi Justin! Thanks for watching and commenting ^^ I agree, masks and humidity don’t go well together. It’s good to hear that it didn’t affect you. Now we can finally experience some tolerable weather here :)) Have a nice day!
This was so well thought out and you included anything anyone would need to know. I'm definitely one of your friends who wears rain boots but I'm not fashionable lol Hope to see you soon love
The rainy reason was over as you mentioned, but typhoons are back now 😭😭😭 I really wish we can enjoy some warm days! By the way, I agree with you on the rainboots! I hate them so much no matter what! I would rather go with sneakers instead hahaha
I knooow, because of all the typhoons it feels like the weather got even worse 😅 Our windows and insect screens are rattling the entire evening now. I hope it's not too noisy in your home. ^^ Haha, thank you! Rain boots remind me too much of involuntary garden work and music festivals lol. I'd rather have wet feet ^^; (I have to admit that Micaela looks cute in them, though!)
I have never been to Korea on summer, but yeah when it's rain, it's not that hard for us to find umbrella as convenience stores are everywhere which is super handy! yay! we like to wear boots too when it's raining, we always checked weather in the morning before going outside. thanks for sharing this!
Right, checking the weather forecast in the morning is key! I often open the front door and "check" how the humidity and temperature feels haha. Thanks for watching and commenting!!

Hello! I hope the monsoon season is over by now in Malaysia!? Thanks for watching and commenting! :))
I could listen to you speak for hours on end Victoria 😇 such an informative video, I loved every second of it!

Take care and please stay save during the monsoon season! 🙏🏼
Awww thanks a lot! 🧡 Actually „cozy vibes“ are always in the back of my head while editing, so I‘m glad that you’ve noticed that! Stay safe, too! 🤗
I always had one of those little clear umbrellas. I never got a real good umbrella the entire time i lived there. 😂
Haha same! Especially since it's so easy to forget and loose your real good umbrella somewhere 😅
How To Korea lol true, that happened to me a bunch of times too.

what about the rain this year in Seoul?
oh, so lange war Monsoon? Ojjjjj
Ja! Angeblich ist die Regenzeit schon vorbei, aber jetzt haben die Taifune angefangen, von daher is der Übergang sehr flüssig. 😅😅
