Love your videos Cobuman!!! Bro do you happen to have a video on tutorial for creating group policies? I know how to apply gpos in active directory users & computers. But not how to creat them.
@@xp10290 Thanks Xavier. I may have a video somewhere. But, I will make a new video explaining that. It will probably be posted on my 2nd channel ua-cam.com/users/cobumanknowledgebase
I have never encountered a person as passionate, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable as you who can pass on understanding in a straightforward manner. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
Present Cobuman. I am having some difficulties in testing the inbound rule for blocking IE. It does not block anything at all and I can freely use IE with no issues. It is only when I configure outbound rules to block IE, does it actually block me from getting to any website. The parameters between the rules are the same. Just one is applied to inbound rules and the other to outbound rules. I would think that if I block inbound connections, that I should not be able get to a website because the outside source should not be able to send me data back, when I request it but that is not the case. I also checked to see if I needed both inbound and outbound but I just needed outbound rule to be enabled. The inbound rule seems to have no affect whatsoever.
Great catch. With that type of firewall behaviors I might be wrong with my explanation of Firewall. I'll have to test and correct my explanation. It might be that outbound means block everything outside the local network, and inbound to mean inside the local network. If that is the case, they could have named it "inside network" and "outside network". :)

This is very misleading ! The questions above are asked by recruiters only. On the real interview the questions asked is about packets, OSPF etc
That's not true. Recruiters are not job specific most of them don't even much about technical stuff.
