I’m crying, because I searched on UA-cam “why do people hate pentacostals?”, and I kept seeing “pentacostals are cults” or “I hate pentacostals”. It tore me down to see that so many people that hate us. But then God showed me your video in the results. Thank God and you for giving me hope.

It was not the Holy Spirit that people experienced there. The Scriptures are very clear about the Holy Spirit and "this" has nothing to do with it. Oh my gosh I love this video. I know I’m 2 years late but you hit nail on the head in everything you said. I am 18 and I’m also apostolic. The way we praise God is different but it is so freeing. We shout, dance, and yes we sometimes run around the church while speaking in tongue!!

If you really spoke in tongues once then you can still do it if you get touched by the Holy Ghost. See to be able to speak in tongues is a gift from God. And he’s not like oh give me that back.

Love it 🥰God saved me from a 17 years addiction. I lost my son and hit rock bottom to the point I prayed for Gods will. The day I prayed for His will He brought in a family to where I was waitressing tables from a Pentecostal Church. The spirit of God moves and I made it to the church got babtized in Jesus name. Had been babtized 4 times in father son Holy Spirit. Could never get sober I wasn’t in full blown truth. I went to many rehabs but people asked how I got sober God filled me with the Holy Ghost and having that changed me. I took my sons dad to church recently bc he’s a drunk and on drugs like I was. They said why are you taking him to church I said because that’s how I got sober. Almost 5 years. Got my little boy back well he’s 7 now. Own my own home and car all payed for. God worked a miracle for me because I fully gave my life to HIM 🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Now I’m an insurance agent and I keep my son at work a lot. It’s amazing what Pentecost can do!! I use to think Pentecostals were crazy. I was in a tornado and I was like in a hall way at a church ⛪️ with a bunch of Pentecostals they were praying and speaking in tounges. I said Pentecostals are crazy I’ll never be Pentecostal. A year laster when I prayed for His will I ended up in a Pentecostal Church. Followed the trinity my whole life. You have to open your mind and give yourself to Gods complete will. I thought living completely for God would be horrible but boy I was wrong. The secret is pray for His perfect will and want it. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

She lived for God for quite a while, but then turned her back and back slid. She said that standards were too much. She never got it. Let me just say how incredibly proud of you I am my little sister in Christ. I am a pure bred Pentecostal holiness baptized believer of God all my life. I've been dipped in holiness and dedicated to the Lord for several years now and I came upon your channel today as I am fasting and praying over the word I read this morning in Deuteronomy and it was no accident your video popped up for me. You keep pushing and moving forward and yes, I get picked at about my skirts and dresses and the attire I wear and people don't understand it. Being over 40, I laugh and I smile as we are peculiar people to the world around us so we are not to be understood or admired but I praise God for being different and for the yearning God has placed in my heart and in my focus for years to be His daughter of Zion and the handmaiden servant of humility bowing at His feet daily as I continue to submit to His will, not mine, not yours, and not the world's will but His. I was raised Pentecostal Holiness! I took my friend to church when we were kids and they looked scared. I grew up like that so it being loud didn't bother me
Yes, the pentecostal thing is scary to me also. I know that the bible teaches that if we desire we can speak in tongues, but we are to keep silent in the church if there is no interpreter. I've been to pentecostal churches and never noticed an interpreter. I don't knock them. I just don't trust it because God is a God of order and one of the fruits of the Spirit is self control. But I love being in the house of the Lord. And if the Holy Spirit is there I love it. I've had some great experiences in the pentecostal church. I actually got saved at a pentecostal church. But I also have been weirded out at times.

I love how you provided scripture to back up what you believe also👍🏾😊 I did want to comment about your mentioning Acts 2:1-4. It’s quite an interesting study. And what I’ve found is that in the original Greek (of which the New Testament was originally written in) translation of the word ‘tongues’ in that passage means an actual known language (i.e. English, Arabic, etc...). If you keep reading verses 5-11, you’ll see that people of many different tongues, or languages heard the good news of salvation in their own native tongue, spoken by the disciples. That miracle was the evidence that the disciples had received the Holy Spirit. They were able to fulfill Acts 1:8. It’s so amazing and awesome how not even the barrier of language could prevent God’s message of salvation from sins from being preached to all nations! What a mighty God!! Im not a pentecostal but its nice to see you having such a love for God as Im also almost 18 :) I seen someone say that they were sad that people hate pentecostals, i hope they didnt mean that Christians hate them. The Bible teaches that we should love all of our brothers and sisters and thats what I will try to do whether I disagree with them or not. I just wanted to say that I believe that not everyone has the gift of speaking in tongues and that just because it happened to the Apostles doesnt mean it will happen to all of us. I feel that those who do not receive this gift might then feel that they aren't good enough for God which is not the case. It is a gift from God. "For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. (1 Corinthians 12:8-11) Also, in 1 Corinthians 14:5 Paul says "I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy." This implies that not everyone will speak in tongues. So yeah, I dont think speaking in tongues is bad obviously, but when it is said that everyone will do it when the Holy Spirit enters them, the people who it doesnt happen to will feel inferior and will think that they do not have the Holy Spirit within them, which of course is not the case. Im 16 years old and went to a baptist church. I know they believe in the Trinity. But im a christian and believe in one God and speaking in tongues. Yes i was baptized in titles father son holy ghost I am planning to get baptized in Jesus name. I love pentecostals and I am one now😊😊😊
I am a Baptist and we do believe in One God. The Trinity can be hard to understand if it hasn't been explained, but it simply means One God who is a three part being. These three parts are divided biblically into God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. He is One God in three parts and there is no one like Him.

I've been raised in different churches and different beliefs and now through the paths and keys God has put in my life I finally reached what I believe is the truth. I am new to this but strong hearted for God. I'm yearning to learn the Bible,I don't understand a lot of it pretty much all of it almost. But I am trying. I want to receive the gift of speaking tongues, I want to be baptized and receive the holy Spirit and be safe and be with my father when I pass. Our creator is such an amazing god, there's No Love & Mercy like his. He is our beginning and our end, our alpha and Omega. And he will always be here. I've been through depression, anxiety, fear, etc. And now that I've been having God in my life I still have a little fear, but not as much. Most of my issues are gone and he is working on my heart right now. I can feel his Force upon me, especially when I am praying. I have a notebook and a Bible and I've been taking notes to help me memorize and practice the Bible. I'm yearning to reach the heavens and be one of his strong hearted followers. Jesus died on the cross for us and just imagine the pain he went through, because he loves us so much. I do have doubts about if he's real or not, I don't want to have doubts like that. It makes me wicked wicked upset and sad that I even think that, but it's the devil trying to get in my head and change my perspective. I want to overcome any of that and become a person that passed his test. I have got so much to learn, I changed my style. I changed, or trying to change so much. I have so much more to say but I guess all words can't be spoken. God bless you all and I love you guys so much. 💖 (I'm also 18!)
The trinity for one, the way they baptize, the way that they preach, worship, they don't speak in tongues they put other people above or at the same level of God, which we don't do, there is soooo much that we do that they don't its like night and day. The list is too long.

Had been babtized 4 times in father son Holy Spirit. Could never get sober I wasn’t in full blown truth. I went to many rehabs but people asked how I got sober God filled me with the Holy Ghost and having that changed me. I took my sons dad to church recently bc he’s a drunk and on drugs like I was. They said why are you taking him to church I said because that’s how I got sober. Almost 5 years. Got my little boy back well he’s 7 now. Own my own home and car all payed for. God worked a miracle for me because I fully gave my life to HIM 🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Now I’m an insurance agent and I keep my son at work a lot. It’s amazing what Pentecost can do!! I use to think Pentecostals were crazy. I was in a tornado and I was like in a hall way at a church ⛪️ with a bunch of Pentecostals they were praying and speaking in tounges. I said Pentecostals are crazy I’ll never be Pentecostal. A year laster when I prayed for His will I ended up in a Pentecostal Church. Followed the trinity my whole life. You have to open your mind and give yourself to Gods complete will. I thought living completely for God would be horrible but boy I was wrong. The secret is pray for His perfect will and want it. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

She lived for God for quite a while, but then turned her back and back slid. She said that standards were too much. She never got it. Let me just say how incredibly proud of you I am my little sister in Christ. I am a pure bred Pentecostal holiness baptized believer of God all my life. I've been dipped in holiness and dedicated to the Lord for several years now and I came upon your channel today as I am fasting and praying over the word I read this morning in Deuteronomy and it was no accident your video popped up for me. You keep pushing and moving forward and yes, I get picked at about my skirts and dresses and the attire I wear and people don't understand it. Being over 40, I laugh and I smile as we are peculiar people to the world around us so we are not to be understood or admired but I praise God for being different and for the yearning God has placed in my heart and in my focus for years to be His daughter of Zion and the handmaiden servant of humility bowing at His feet daily as I continue to submit to His will, not mine, not yours, and not the world's will but His. Yes, the pentecostal thing is scary to me also. I know that the bible teaches that if we desire we can speak in tongues, but we are to keep silent in the church if there is no interpreter. I've been to pentecostal churches and never noticed an interpreter. I don't knock them. I just don't trust it because God is a God of order and one of the fruits of the Spirit is self control. But I love being in the house of the Lord. And if the Holy Spirit is there I love it. I've had some great experiences in the pentecostal church. I actually got saved at a pentecostal church. But I also have been weirded out at times.

I did want to comment about your mentioning Acts 2:1-4. It’s quite an interesting study. And what I’ve found is that in the original Greek (of which the New Testament was originally written in) translation of the word ‘tongues’ in that passage means an actual known language (i.e. English, Arabic, etc...). If you keep reading verses 5-11, you’ll see that people of many different tongues, or languages heard the good news of salvation in their own native tongue, spoken by the disciples. That miracle was the evidence that the disciples had received the Holy Spirit. They were able to fulfill Acts 1:8. It’s so amazing and awesome how not even the barrier of language could prevent God’s message of salvation from sins from being preached to all nations! What a mighty God!!

I seen someone say that they were sad that people hate pentecostals, i hope they didnt mean that Christians hate them. The Bible teaches that we should love all of our brothers and sisters and thats what I will try to do whether I disagree with them or not.
I just wanted to say that I believe that not everyone has the gift of speaking in tongues and that just because it happened to the Apostles doesnt mean it will happen to all of us. I feel that those who do not receive this gift might then feel that they aren't good enough for God which is not the case. It is a gift from God.
"For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. (1 Corinthians 12:8-11)
Also, in 1 Corinthians 14:5 Paul says "I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy." This implies that not everyone will speak in tongues.
So yeah, I dont think speaking in tongues is bad obviously, but when it is said that everyone will do it when the Holy Spirit enters them, the people who it doesnt happen to will feel inferior and will think that they do not have the Holy Spirit within them, which of course is not the case.

I am a Baptist and we do believe in One God. The Trinity can be hard to understand if it hasn't been explained, but it simply means One God who is a three part being. These three parts are divided biblically into God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. He is One God in three parts and there is no one like Him.

I've been raised in different churches and different beliefs and now through the paths and keys God has put in my life I finally reached what I believe is the truth. I am new to this but strong hearted for God. I'm yearning to learn the Bible,I don't understand a lot of it pretty much all of it almost. But I am trying. I want to receive the gift of speaking tongues, I want to be baptized and receive the holy Spirit and be safe and be with my father when I pass. Our creator is such an amazing god, there's No Love & Mercy like his. He is our beginning and our end, our alpha and Omega. And he will always be here. I've been through depression, anxiety, fear, etc. And now that I've been having God in my life I still have a little fear, but not as much. Most of my issues are gone and he is working on my heart right now. I can feel his Force upon me, especially when I am praying. I have a notebook and a Bible and I've been taking notes to help me memorize and practice the Bible. I'm yearning to reach the heavens and be one of his strong hearted followers. Jesus died on the cross for us and just imagine the pain he went through, because he loves us so much. I do have doubts about if he's real or not, I don't want to have doubts like that. It makes me wicked wicked upset and sad that I even think that, but it's the devil trying to get in my head and change my perspective. I want to overcome any of that and become a person that passed his test. I have got so much to learn, I changed my style. I changed, or trying to change so much. I have so much more to say but I guess all words can't be spoken. God bless you all and I love you guys so much. 💖 (I'm also 18!)

what is the difference between catholic and pentecostal ?
The trinity for one, the way they baptize, the way that they preach, worship, they don't speak in tongues they put other people above or at the same level of God, which we don't do, there is soooo much that we do that they don't its like night and day. The list is too long.
