It’s $112 per full day while you’re out with your trainer. A full day is a day in which you were on duty for at least 6 hours. Most trainees have 6 days a week in which they work the 6 or more hours.
Hello. Don’t know what avenue you chose. I did the same research you did as well, and Roehl was a top choice but if I remember correctly, they weren’t hiring out of Florida at that time (around 2020). I did end up going with Prime. Started my training on the reefer side and ended up going tanker. Good company. Great equipment. Top notch facilities.
I am looking at Prime myself to get my cdl and to go lease. Trucking with Rex has a video of the lease from a year or so ago breaking down the numbers. Gd luck on your choice.
How much does prime pay per day for the first part of the school? So I know how much to budget for school. Is there a stove in the kitchen to cook meals?
Prime pays 900 per week during training.. but double check that to see if anything has changed. I’m. It sure about the hotel rooms and the stove situation.
@michaelzambrano8418 You get a 200 dollar advance every week until your tnt phase after aquiring your cdl that you pay back at 25 a week. It only takes 2-3 weeks to obtain your cdl then you'll switch to 900 a week gross during your tnt phase of 50k miles.
@@roberty7623 Thank you so very much! What about work history requirements? I have worked as a Beekeeper for 5 years now. I did mostly w2 but some 1099 work too. What will they want me to show?
During your CDL training its $600 per week Phase 2 after you get your CDL 3 additional weeks in your OTR trainers truck that's $112 per day for 3 weeks.
Got my cdl at prime in 16 its team loads for the lease drivers everyone in my class had a terrible experience 30k miles took 3 months with no home time, dont go.
Prime Inc you start your time working for a $200/wk loan, you have to pay it back once you get your CDL and get your purple badge. Then after that you have to do TNT with a trainer for 50k miles. And after you’re done with that, you’re not guaranteed a truck. Some trainees end up staying on the trainers truck for an additional 10k miles when another truck becomes available. Your chances of getting good training during that time is 50/50. Some of these trainers don’t let you back because they’re too nervous to let new drivers back up the truck. Especially lease operators. You end up feeling more like a team truck rather than learning all the ins and outs of the business. My advice would be to get your CDL with a company who trains you during the day and for a shorter period of time. Roehl is a great option.
Just don't ever go to CFI for any reason. The worst company I ever worked for. They lied right out of orientation and no miles. When I asked for more miles they gave me we don't have the miles.
Looking to go Prime but just as an employee to get my experience and have them pay for my cdl, then work for a year with Prime get my experience. OR OR, save my money for a few more months and pay for my own CDL training, work for Chichester company will hire. I HATE contracts where they take advantage of my inexperience and dependency on them the trucking company.
I made the mistake of going with Roehl over Prime. Your recruiter is lying. I had 19 days between Phase 2 and 3 waiting for a crappy trainer then waiting for my truck. All unpaid. They made me do 2-34 hour resets in one week due to no freight. I wish you the best, but serve your time and get out. Roehl is a garbage company.
With roehl it depends on your trainer I did 15 days over the road
It’s 112 dollars a day otr with trainer
Bro me and my buddy met you at the hotel in Conley GA a few days ago!! I hope you stay safe and blessed!

Look into Hirschbach after some experience. They have an even better lease purchase program than Prime. No money needed to be put down up front.
Will do, thank you so much!
$112/week or day OTR with Roehl?
$600 during CDL training for 3 weeks, and $112 per week during phase 2 which is 3 weeks with your trainer OTR.

Where is your next stop if you are willing to share? Good luck with your next opportunity.
