Cottonmouth255 well, Gigginox has the semi-quadruped Wyvern model, like Nargacuga and Tigrex. If Gigginkx was added, than those two also have a high chance, along with others like Barioth. Gigginox could be interesting, seeing it prowl through caves and dropping down on small prey only to consume them right in front of the player.
For anyone who can't buy a switch to play this, I recommend you buying this game on playasia for the 3ds. The only difference between the 3ds and switch is just graphics. So go ahead and pick one up from playasia for any 3ds gamers.

It's one big game launching on Nintendo Switch in August. The game is a "best of" for the Monster Hunter series and brings locations and monsters from all across various entrees of the series.
growing up playing online was about showing off ur gear and how u beat the hard monsters but in mh-world everyone got the same gear and beat the same monsters
joeyoboey I think I’m the only person who wears the Deviljho set...I see that nobody wears it because it doesn’t have any Attack Boost like the last 3 games
right! as soon as they drop a new monster to hunt down everyone and they mama already finna grind it so i dont see why they just dont drop a load of em
So hyped for a difficult monster hunter to come back again. World got so boring, went back to try lunostra and was yawning 2 minutes into the fight. they brought back an old monster with a new movepool and didn't even bother making her difficult.
Late game one mistake in MHXX, no matter what style you're playing, will end you. Mechanics can be argued against. In my opinion the small "quality of life" changes introduced made the game way too easy and the monsters are all slow and easy to dodge. I like some of the combat changes they made to some of the weapons but that's about it. The game feels like Im playing a kid friendly version of monster hunter. I dont want that. I want the fast combat and unforgiving monsters from older games. I want a monster hunter that takes skill to play. World isnt that game. You say using anything but Guild Style makes XX easy. I think you're wrong. If I picl uo the game right now and start fighting a momster with no prior experienece on how to use Brave or Adept, cconsidered the two best styles in the game, I'm going to get destroyed. Then theres of course Grank to look forward to and new deviants. Heck, anyone who has played the game has said it's difficult have said you have to play nearly perfectly against Grank deviants. I want a game that challenges me like Freedom Unite and 4U. GenU sounds like it can deliver on that.
Sammy Perez Have you tried hunting the Arch Tempered Vaal he's pretty challenging despite it being very predictable but yeah I agree with you in that aspect perhaps MHWorld will be more challenging once G rank is added I played MHGen for 1200 hours and it was quite easy but now that I think about it Monsters had allot more HP in MHGen and the weapons didn't have the same sense of impact but that did make it more challenging since a GS wouldn't destroy the monster like in MHWorld. MHWorld is more realistic in the since of impact of weapons but that makes it easy while MHGen feels like butter knifed
some of people thinks the tempered monsters, arent challenging enought...i didnt play mhworld,so i cant say if its true or false but...i just remenber the apex monsters and the lvl 140 quests in MH4U... it could be compared,or tempered its more challenging? i agree with you that the styles make the mhgen,easier...but it took a lot of hours to master one style, and im saying this because i only mastered the shadow/adept style XD probably gonna try to conquer the brave style.
more than ten years ago i played this game on the psp called monster hunter freedom ultimate, monster hunter 3 ultimate and mh4 on ds? good old days mhf ultimate was definitely savage
The OG monster hunter gives me anxiety everytime I fight them no matter how many times because I have limited moves to utilize and every action has terrible consequences. Timing was essential but now it's just "unga bunga I wack you with stick you die" gameplay.
World was my first MH game. I got a switch when BotW released. So seeing this looks absolutely amazing. Wish it were on the systems though. But after playing MHW, I just want more MH and this looks it.
If you think monster Hunter world is better than MhGenU, just look at these high tier monsters, monsters from World would easily get crushed by them 😁 I mean C'mon, Fatalis, Alatreon, Amatsumagatsuchi!? Also don't forget the deviants lol
Fatalis and Alatreon is the only strong monsters in your list.Zorah can smah amatsu easily and we dont know how strong Adult Xenojiva is and comparing Grank game to HR game LOL
Not to mention that Monster hunter world also has tempered, and newly added arch tempered monsters that is there to replace deviants, but they don’t do as good of a job but are still a challenge to beat
Gotta love how many people expect MHW with its completely revamped engine and graphics to have this same lineup, when this has compiled monsters and recycled assets all the way from the beginning of the franchise for years. Expectations set pretty unrealistically high here.
I stopped playing MHW because of the lack of content. I'd rather have a massive list of monsters to fight so I have something to go after for years to come without having to wait on anyone.
Every true Monster Hunter fan won't compare or criticize both MhGenU and MHW. That's the rule since MHFrontier came out. Soo...new fans and some olds, please stop being toxic :)
I like this. I understand the down sides of each. but despite how bored of X i am. Im going to get XX simply cuz veriety. sure the QOL that gen 5 got are great...but without veriety my need to hunt lingers.
I kinda like generations ultimate more because it is a classic MH game with new features and monsters and it's just the old school MH we all know and love
Somethin tells me if MHW had a +50 monster count added. People would still be complainin about somethin. Its just this day n age. Everyones gotta complain about somethin, even me.
It lacks the multiplayer interactions of the past games, multiplayer system is kinda bad overall, no G rank. Its a great game but it definitely feels like its missing something
mumbo wumbo Only relevant if Deviants are included in the main Quest List, otherwise no. People mostly talk about movesets and honestly, it gets boring and boring… If you're wondering why… -They're indeed strong, very challenging, but some of them get dull in higher levels. In G rank, there's one Quest that fails the moment you fainted only once, and the Super Deviants, while extremely challenging, they become mostly cancerous to the point the hunting quality drops significantly. -There's only 18 of them. For me, it's not really enough. -This game has some of the Quests that supposedly involving Subspecies, but instead replaces them with Hyper monsters. Hypers are very cheap tbh, and it ruins the nostalgia the game supposedly have. -Transmog for me is a wasted potential without them. Well, that's it. Git gud all you want after this, but it won't change my mind.
I'm gonna have alot of killing to do..Its almost overwhelming how many there are for someone coming from world lmao freedom unite was my first mh but I never finished it.
well I mean savage Deviljho is basically teh cannibal equivalent of Black diablos... They are a version thats MUCH more agressive and are more likely to enrage.
I preferred how it was in Frontier, where hardcore monsters were just tie-ins with that same monster and that was it. Making it seem like deviants are different monsters from their differing counterparts is just really lazy.
Boomstick Gaming You’re right. I’m just sad because I don’t have a Switch and I’m a huge fan of the series, I’d love to go back to the classic MH style in this game, with SO many good monsters. Don’t have a lot of cash to throw around but...Oof.
>50% of this comment section is arguing/talking about how MHGU is better than MHW >20% of this comment section is talking about other things >1% of this comment section is me commenting about the comment section Please correct me if I'm wrong on this. MHW is BARELY a year old, and people are getting bored of it already? Give the developer's TIME to improve the game instead of immediately saying it's boring. If it's boring, then actually contribute to improve the game, such as ideas, suggestions, etc. There is a Twitter and a UA-cam page for MHW, If you didn't notice.
Uh... 4U didnt have that problem, neither does GenU. World gives you little to do, even Generations (which is the fairer comparison since no G-rank) was fun for longer.
Just chipping in here (a little late) with my take on MHGU vs. World. Monster Hunter World was done right. It was executed brilliantly, hence the popularity of it at release and post-release. Yes, I do agree that Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate has a better, more diverse cast of monsters, but I will re-iterate the big point that has been raised here already. Monster Hunter World was built from the ground-up and it would be unreasonable to expect the same variety of monsters. There is a great recent example of bringing your series to a new platform and not doing it from the ground-up that you might have heard of. Pokemon Sword and Shield. For a console game, it looks like shit and even then they didn't include all previous generations of Pokemon. Had they done the same with world, we would've gotten a marginally better looking game than Generations Ultimate, yes, but by the standards of the platforms it released on, it would've looked dated and unpolished (much like Sword and Shield). My point is, as much as "hardcore" fans want to reject World and embrace Generations Ultimate (which they are completely entitled to do, it's their choice), there is absolutely no denying that Monster Hunter World is a smoother, cleaner experience than the previous entries and has laid an incredible foundation for future titles to build and expand on. Not to mention that with the leap to the current generation and a more modern engine, the possibilities have now increased for the kinds of monsters and/or encounters we might get. By all means, you can have your preference in which you prefer and are obviously free to play whatever you want, but don't try to claim that, mechanically, World isn't superior. That's like saying Super Mario Odyssey has worse controls than Super Mario 64 just because you're a "hardcore" Mario fan. Overall, I love both games and think they both have their strengths and weaknesses, but World is where things are at just now, and World is where the game series will continue from. It is simply a better build than the previous titles, and ultimately will provide (hopefully) all fans a platform to enjoy all their favourite monster fights on in the future. Have a great day!
I agree. Mhw made the franchise what it is today and its definitely an evolution of the series to new standards. For me the only thing mhgu has in its favor is its roster, everything else world does it better.
"and last we have one more anouncement" *shows a horror scene of hunters being picked off one by one, untill sudenly the equal dragon weapon bursts up from the ground" but its actually just a web slinging prey-mantis with its "dragon-mech" xD
I think it will be the right move in a few years and we will be glad they took that necessary step to evolve the engine. Generations Ultimate is really really the last time this old engine was going to get one last pass.
Boomstick Gaming precisely. World has evolved the franchise into what I originally thought it would be back when I was reading about mh1 in gameinformer.
Dude, you think Capcom is going to keep Monster Hunter the same for 10+ years? There has to be a point in time when they must evolve their game, from the graphics to the gameplay to the mechanics. They overhauled everything, and the sacrifice is worth it, because all mainline MH games in the future will be amazing with this new polished iteration, and they can keep adding more newer monsters as the years progress. It was only a matter of time. And stop thinking World is just a "better looking Monster Hunter" because it isn't. They overhauled every single system and mechanic in the game, they made the maps completely open without loading, and made them bigger and more complex. They made every monster have 10x better AI with better animations and fluidity and less robotic movements like the previous games. They added new combos and moves to every weapon type. World is a true example of an innovative game compared to its previous successors.
*_Go solo Tempered Deviljho. Augmented Nerg gear. No help. just a charge blade, a gold pickle, rain, and lots of hurt. I fucking finished with less than 30 seconds left. tf do you mean FAR TO EASY?_*
Its going to be a while before the World style of MH games gets this many monsters. But honestly, we just need most of the old flagships back in a good amount of time: Zinogre, Nargacuga, Brachydios, Gore Magala, the Fated Four, etc.
Nice job, would love to see videos of this type for all most complete games of monster generations. To see which were forgotten in time and which is most loved. Like MH freedom(1st gen), MH freedom Unite(2nd gen), MH portable 3rd(3rd gen), MH4U(4th gen) and MH frontier(Spinof gen)

and to have unique weapons back for every monster.
Thanks for the hype man! I’m so impatient for this! A hoonter must hoont!
Good, Bad, or Ugly, us fans love all of these fellas. At least one of us does.
*COUGH* bulldrome fans *COUGH*
ShopKeep Magolor no way i hate bull pig
We all have our favourites. My preference goes to Nargacuga and Zinogre. But like me with Pokémon, I enjoy them all.
*cough* Khezu fans *cough*
Really though, where’s my Gigginox?!
Bulldrome fans must have something stuck on their head. There's nothing to be loved about that bastard.
*Cough* Deviants Quest *Cough*
W...where... is... the GREAT JAGGI?! T_T
Victor Nikiforov they became extinct XD
Great Jaggi got left behind in MH4U.
Got replaced by the Great Maccao
Great Jaggi = Waluigi
Training so it won’t be a punching bag next time we meet it.
Be prepared.
Jesus. I wish there were a true ultimate MH with the graphics and QOL of World and the monster list here
it has so many cuz they're just ported from the 3ds games
One day will get that. One day.
You never know. Few years from now we may get a “Monster Hunter World Ultimate”
@@Sunkhrist And sadly it probably won't be on Switch
master rank is g rank so yeah we already have that
I can't be the only one who giggled like a child at Nibelsnarf.
Same as xx right?
Im so happy and excited playing MONSTER HUNTER (I LOVE THE WHOLE SERIES) IN SWITCH OMG
Rui Ribeiro Yes, this is xx finally localized
0:06 I played this at 1.25 speed and listened to Smash Ultimate's Everyone is HERE theme. Fits incredibly well.
So excited
Heck yea!
Since I have no means to actually cover the game early yet, I make due with what I got... the internet.
They made.......A DEVIANT DIABLOS. BLOODBATH DIABLOS. The name just sounds terrifying 😭
Chazz Banks it's the strongest deviant
That's terrible 😂😥
Just got it wish me luck on my hunting!
For anyone who can't buy a switch to play this, I recommend you buying this game on playasia for the 3ds. The only difference between the 3ds and switch is just graphics. So go ahead and pick one up from playasia for any 3ds gamers.
Seirawolf But it’ll be in Japanese and region locked.
@@1stSirCharles well it's either that or buy a switch (if you don't have one)
Seirawolf Switch it is! lol
No dalamadur :'(
draifu indeed 😑
Or great jaggi
*My channel needs your support on Patreon and if just a fraction of you gave $1, it would help immensely❗*
Who the heck would'nt want to craft better hats out of the butts of all 93 of these?! Come on!
Boomstick Gaming hi, question : is this a bunch of games put together or is it just one big game?
It's one big game launching on Nintendo Switch in August. The game is a "best of" for the Monster Hunter series and brings locations and monsters from all across various entrees of the series.
Isn't pink rath and blue rath In gen as well
Nope, those two went from 4 ultimate to World and skipped Gens.
KillerLagGameing Nope, Subspecies skip both Generations and Generations Ultimate.
Someone’s gonna need to make a pokerap for Monster Hunter so I can name off all these guys in a catchy song.
growing up playing online was about showing off ur gear and how u beat the hard monsters but in mh-world everyone got the same gear and beat the same monsters
very true
Jordan William so what’s your gear then?
TheEmeraldNova 355 what game
joeyoboey I think I’m the only person who wears the Deviljho set...I see that nobody wears it because it doesn’t have any Attack Boost like the last 3 games
right! as soon as they drop a new monster to hunt down everyone and they mama already finna grind it so i dont see why they just dont drop a load of em
The most bang for ur buck MH Game.
Best Monster Hunter Game as of date ! Heavy nostalgic feels for me here :)
EX Deviants are the best
So close to 100 monsters. Everytime i see the count. I just wish for 7 more 😭
So much...
ARMOR EHHEHEHEHEHE SOOO MUCH ARMOR TO MAAAAKE. SO MANY CHARGE BLADES TO MAKE TOO I WANT ITTT
1:00
I fear no man.
But that thing, it scares me.
1:11 zenit tigrex? Are you?
Cha-Cha Laka lmao frontier tiggy
Yes... is bad...
*THEY'RE EVOLVING...*
Of course it won't be zenit in game XD
If you pause right at the middle of the transition, you can see *Tigredrome*
OMG YES A DEVIANT ASTALOS IS ALL IVE EVER WANTED IN LIFE!!!!!
Damn a lot of MHFU Monsters here :,) feels good man
My poison/blight Dragon baby is back! And a lot of my old dragon hunting targets that I missed in World. So happy to be able to fight them again .
So hyped for a difficult monster hunter to come back again. World got so boring, went back to try lunostra and was yawning 2 minutes into the fight. they brought back an old monster with a new movepool and didn't even bother making her difficult.
Sammy Perez
MHXX is still pretty easy unless you use Guild style and MHWorld has much better mecanics it just lacks Content
Because it's a new engine
Sammy Perez
Have you tried hunting the Arch Tempered Vaal he's pretty challenging despite it being very predictable but yeah I agree with you in that aspect perhaps MHWorld will be more challenging once G rank is added I played MHGen for 1200 hours and it was quite easy but now that I think about it Monsters had allot more HP in MHGen and the weapons didn't have the same sense of impact but that did make it more challenging since a GS wouldn't destroy the monster like in MHWorld.
Makes the MHW line-up looks like bleh by comparison XD
IVAM GETTING A SWITCH SOON I AM SO HYPED FOR THIS
The OG monster hunter gives me anxiety everytime I fight them no matter how many times because I have limited moves to utilize and every action has terrible consequences. Timing was essential but now it's just "unga bunga I wack you with stick you die" gameplay.
I wouldn’t say it’s THAT simple. And I know your ass can’t lie that a lot of old MH’s difficulty was artificial as hell up until the 3rd generation.
G Rank monsters are stronger than High Rank monsters?
Consider me woke.
MHW is supposed to get Alatreon in a future update so that’s at least something
Fatalis and Alatreon is the only strong monsters in your list.Zorah can smah amatsu easily and we dont know how strong Adult Xenojiva is
and comparing Grank game to HR game
LOL
Not to mention that Monster hunter world also has tempered, and newly added arch tempered monsters that is there to replace deviants, but they don’t do as good of a job but are still a challenge to beat
Mücahit yıldırım * cough cough * Ahtal-ka robot * cough cough *
GIADROME MY LOVE! I MISSED YOU!
Gotta love how many people expect MHW with its completely revamped engine and graphics to have this same lineup, when this has compiled monsters and recycled assets all the way from the beginning of the franchise for years. Expectations set pretty unrealistically high here.
Lavasioth:*flops dead furiously*
Wow, this just blows the wind out of MH worlds sails.
My last OG feel game is MH4U, then jumped to Rise/Sunbreak.
Fk GU is on sale. Gonna buy this beast of a game damn. So much monsters
I stopped playing MHW because of the lack of content. I'd rather have a massive list of monsters to fight so I have something to go after for years to come without having to wait on anyone.
Ohh the arena music, so good
Every true Monster Hunter fan won't compare or criticize both MhGenU and MHW.
Frontier came out long before either of them was released...
I kinda like generations ultimate more because it is a classic MH game with new features and monsters and it's just the old school MH we all know and love
Nice vid bro
Try make it with cutscene next time
Gustu Jester I would love to if i had access to the game.
Honestly, cnsidering how cutscenes work in Gen and GU, it's pretty much a waste of time.
Michael Dust the game has not come out yet
Marcos Martinez It has been out in Japan for almost a year now. Wdym?
Elgin J fuck
Thats true
I completly forgot
My bad
Best Roster in the Franchise yet.
Somethin tells me if MHW had a +50 monster count added. People would still be complainin about somethin.
Its just this day n age. Everyones gotta complain about somethin, even me.
Monster Huntress Everyone would obviously complain about kirin no matter what XD
All mhw needs is g ranked shit. It’s far to easy right now :/
ProjectpvpProduction Arch tempereds are about the same as g rank but in a different way
It lacks the multiplayer interactions of the past games, multiplayer system is kinda bad overall, no G rank. Its a great game but it definitely feels like its missing something
YoasterToaster well all past games have 2 versions. High rank ver. And the G rank ver.
Aka Capcom saying "gimme yo money"
The virgin mhw vs the chad mhgu
While the monster rosters are mostly great, no Subspecies still saddens me T^T
I mean like, seriously.
deviants>subspecies xD
Subspecies are the worst! They're mostly just pallets swaps with very little difference. The Deviants are a MUCH better alternative!
mumbo wumbo Only relevant if Deviants are included in the main Quest List, otherwise no. People mostly talk about movesets and honestly, it gets boring and boring…
If you're wondering why…
-They're indeed strong, very challenging, but some of them get dull in higher levels.
Richard Hannay If you have a very negative opinion, well, git gud all you want. While most people agree with you, it's not ALL of them.
what about gold rathan and silver rathalos? they are subspecies xD
I wish they would put it on PS4 and PC so the ppl who only got to play mhw can play mhgu. And the vets that don't have a switch.
Honestly what I like about World is the trickling in of new monsters makes it actually feel like you’re in a new world that isn’t fully discovered yet
Wow I didn't even think about it like that 😃
01:10 that's actually Zenith Tigrex, basically Tigrex on drugs
Rip s.zinogre
I'm gonna have alot of killing to do..Its almost overwhelming how many there are for someone coming from world lmao freedom unite was my first mh but I never finished it.
I don't like how the transformations/enraged forms are considered different monsters,
You mean like Savage Deviljho, Furious Rajang, etc.?
Yes.
it's like Tempered monsters, or variants. Hell, Rathalos might as well be a variant of Rathian
well I mean savage Deviljho is basically teh cannibal equivalent of Black diablos... They are a version thats MUCH more agressive and are more likely to enrage.
I preferred how it was in Frontier, where hardcore monsters were just tie-ins with that same monster and that was it. Making it seem like deviants are different monsters from their differing counterparts is just really lazy.
Thicc hitbox boi is back
Why couldn’t Monster Hunter World not have such a diverse and fantastic lineup? That’s a LOT of monsters!!!
Professor Lemon It will some day. It took the last gen of MH nearly a decade to get to this point.
Professor Lemon i dont know maybe because they had to start from scratch for everything in mhw
Boomstick Gaming You’re right. I’m just sad because I don’t have a Switch and I’m a huge fan of the series, I’d love to go back to the classic MH style in this game, with SO many good monsters. Don’t have a lot of cash to throw around but...Oof.
The monsters of World take longer time and more efforts to make.
So many good monsters ? half of roster is boring to be honest
Still wondering why you used the Chaotic Magala picture to identify both the regular Gore Magala and the Chaotic one-
>50% of this comment section is arguing/talking about how MHGU is better than MHW
>20% of this comment section is talking about other things
>1% of this comment section is me commenting about the comment section
Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.
Ryuneko Haven’t has the chance to play MHW yet, do you recommend that I pre-purchase it before it hits PC?
Andrew Cagampang
Yes, actually.
You can look at some reviews to see if you like it though.
Uh... 4U didnt have that problem, neither does GenU. World gives you little to do, even Generations (which is the fairer comparison since no G-rank) was fun for longer.
For me, the best mh game
Wow an intelligent comment( I'm not being sarcastic I do mean it)
I agree. Mhw made the franchise what it is today and its definitely an evolution of the series to new standards. For me the only thing mhgu has in its favor is its roster, everything else world does it better.
*Thinks of Rajang, instantly gets one shot from across kitchen while making sandwich* x-x
I can't wait for "I get bored of generation ultimate, we need more content" comments.
"and last we have one more anouncement"
*shows a horror scene of hunters being picked off one by one, untill sudenly the equal dragon weapon bursts up from the ground"
but its actually just a web slinging prey-mantis with its "dragon-mech" xD
And then world came out with like, 20 monsters... Talk about a downgrade, sacrificing EVERYTHING else to make a game look better.
I think it will be the right move in a few years and we will be glad they took that necessary step to evolve the engine. Generations Ultimate is really really the last time this old engine was going to get one last pass.
Quality over quantity
Boomstick Gaming no one knows for sure if this will be the last traditional Monster Hunter.
1:12 dats a fucking zenith tigrex
Its from MH frontiet
How no one notice it

Monster Hunter world is for kids. Far too easy
*_Go solo Tempered Deviljho. Augmented Nerg gear. No help. just a charge blade, a gold pickle, rain, and lots of hurt. I fucking finished with less than 30 seconds left. tf do you mean FAR TO EASY?_*
that looks amazing with a load of monsters from gen 4u and XX and world, a huge verity
Monster Hunter gen ultimate is one of my favorite old monster hunter of all time and also frontier Z and 3rd portable HD (on PC by using an emulator)
Bloodbath EX was crazy.
Dude, that's one hell of a soundtrack you use on the video...name of the song?
They are bringing back everyone from all the games YAAASSSS
Imagine this: The year is 2025, and capcom reveals Monster Hunter 5 (or whatever), with the polish of MHW and the roster size of MHGU + more.
Its going to be a while before the World style of MH games gets this many monsters. But honestly, we just need most of the old flagships back in a good amount of time: Zinogre, Nargacuga, Brachydios, Gore Magala, the Fated Four, etc.
Oh this is going to be fun
The gang's all here. Although that pic of Tigrex at 28 is the Zenith Tigrex from Frontier and he's definitely not in the game! :)
I love mh world and i just hope all of these guys make it in eventually!
I love the arena music
