Hey guys, this track is a cinematic version of "Midnight" by Coldplay. It was used in the Exodus Gods and Kings Trailers. The Trailer version was composed by CMX (CondifentialMX). CMX is a Soundtrack-Band, who produce a lot of Trailer music. Make sure to check them out!
Unfortunatley they never released this track, so I decided to make a Remake and to add my personal touch to it, including a 300 years old Stradivari Violin called "Visuvius".

Yoooo!!!! What if the heliacal rising of Sirius was the Star of David. Egyptians had many Gods and they literally saw the stars as the heavens. Their astronomy was pretty advanced. What if Hebrews mocked Egyptian gods when they were in their huts with their children after being whipped and exhausted, filled with anger. Told their children that there was only one god, as a child born into slavery looking up only to one god... Not an Egyptian god. What do they do? they look to the heavens and see the brightest star in the night sky. And when it comes, it brings life with it, flooding the Nile, their source of water. And IDK if you played any sports but when you are exhausted all you can think about is water, dehydration fucks with you bad so then the Nile was more significant to the Hebrews than the Egyptians thus the star, their one God. That one God being the Brightest Star must have fucked with the egyptians even for a little bit...... I think.

Klar! Ich find EastWest ziemlich gut, für den normalen Preis hätte ich mir da nichts geholt, außer vielleicht die Symphonic Choirs, weils mir einfach viel zu teuer ist, aber mit dem 60% Rabatt ist das echt machbar :)
