I’ve only one thing to say about this. How bad united’s set up must be. Van de Beek was incredible in this video and he couldn’t get in the team. I hope he shows how bad the club is run ten brings in the team.

Couldn’t be said better mate. The coaching staff was wrong, the owners were struggling and the manager didn’t change the philosophy of the club. I wouldn’t put it past ten hag to rebuild this team within the next to seasons and get its philosophy and mentality straight for us to compete for trophy’s again.

I'm amazed how Ten Hag have developed Ajax. So many good players left and yet Ajax still plays good football with so many news faces and closer to clinch the title this season. Thanks to Ajax fans and management for letting him manage Utd. I know deep down in the heart it's a difficult to let him go. Hope and pray he do the same magic at Utd and bring back the glory days again.

We're used to watching Ajacieden play for different clubs. I watched Spurs of and on to see how they did with their Ajax connection. Barca and Milan at one point. Watching Sneijder win the CL with Inter after being cut from RM was equal amounts excitement and schadenfreude. Might have to add a red jersey to the collection if he brings de Jong back. They never really leave Ajax.

@@Tony.L9793 thing is being a big club means they'll be able to spend money this season despite not making into top 4. I assume ETH had some conversation about that before accepting the job. I think we'll be spending about €200m this transfer window with the opportunity for it to be more if we can offload some players, like Martial.
I personally would like Maguire to go but that's not gonna happen so we might be getting a new CB, potentially Timber, a RW, maybe Antony, a striker like Nunez and definitely a defensive midfielder. I would personally love to have new fullbacks as well but 6 transfers in one window is highly unlikely, unless we make some huge sacrifices like selling Rashford, Martial etc. I want Maguire to be sold but no one would buy him so that's not gonna happen. ETH definitely has a job in his hands but one I believe he can handle.
@@ap24101988 with his management, as long as there is some improvement in the squad, recruiting, style of play so it actually looks like a team I think he definitely will not be sacked and might actually get a contract extension instead.

Ajax were a walk over in the UCL, just one summer after Ten Hag came in he changed it all. Ajax outplayed Bayern, destroyed Real Madrid, toyed with Juventus & was unlucky against Spurs. He has outplayed almost every big team he has faced with players who aren't big names & turned the fortunes of Ajax around, hopefully with time & support he can do this at Man Utd 🙏

I think the English Press are exaggerating the coming of Erik Ten Haag. Remember when Rangnick came first at Man United ; he was declared as the Grand Father of Gegen Pressing and now ends up as Gegen-depressing. Few years back, we had Louis Van Gaal, the master of total football, could not be suited with Man United fans and management. In fact, LVG delivered one FA Cup title. Then, Jose Mourinho, delivered 3 titles including Europa League throphy. Still, Man United fans and management could not be satisfied with Mourinho's achievement. Now after LVG and Jose Mourinho era, in 5 years time, no titles have been given by United's managers. The expectation is high for Erik Ten Haag, because we seemed not to show better performance even we got Ronaldo back in Old Trafford. Erik's experiences were in Germany as Assistant and in Holland. He never dealed with mega stars like Ronaldo. Eeredivisie and Bundesliga are not the same as Premier League that has a lot of pressure and challenges. We will see how Erik Ten Haag can go further with United when he is on board....

I think he’s gonna do what Ole did and stabilise the club, get them to top 4 for a couple of seasons and then be unable to take them any further and leave a mess for his successor.
