Hi, Awen, Dave, and puppers. I'm enjoying all the lovely content you've provided (still watching). Not sure if you know, California with similar terrains and climates as Portugal and near the same? latitude, has had many spells of severe drought. I even referred to our state as Crunchy California long before we had devastating and vast fires. Anyhoo, the planties are able to soak in the most water if you water very early in the morning like before daybreak or in the early evening. During full-on day hours much of the water given during this time is lost to evaporization. I've noticed that if folks lived thru our severe drought of the 1970s, we all still retain water conservation practices even when we do get scads of rain. Just fyi to do with as you like. Your bounty of tomatoes and preparation look marvelous 😍😋. That is some fonky old school music to cook by, and i'm here for it. Sounds like funk R&B from the 70s 😎. Funnily enough i made some tomato sauce/pasata over the weekend. It's a new recipe this year (again hehe) and it was really good too hehe. The boys look so happy and content with your care. I'm hoping to try and grow all year round this year. Veggie garden is currently a bit of a state and needs much TLC! But once I've weeded I'm planning on planting autumn and winter veg 👍🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼 Xx

Everywhere gets a bit messy and overgrown at this time of year I think, no pressure Awen. Horrendous rain here yesterday and today which has put a stop to my allotment and gardening plans. A couple of years ago we just grew tomatoes and nothing else! That was enough to last all winter but this year we wanted lots of different variety. If we had a bigger veggie patch we could 👌🏼❤️🇵🇹🙏🏼 Xxx

Hi, we don't really have a drought problem here. It actually rained today. Southern Portugal is much more dry though.
