The game seems a bit intimidating and that's part of the reason Ive waited. I'm trying to get my squad to buy it so we can figure it out together. Might just have to enlist myself, and when I do, I'll let u know how my journey goes!!

At the end of the day the only thing that makes you better at the game is experience. 8 months later I have been engrained into a milsim community. I have made rank E-5 special forces with medical, EOD, SERE, and spec ops combat medic. I cannot tell you how many times daily I can watch the Russians kill everyone around me and yet I will survive. Even several waves of them coming back to help and dying again only to see me come circle back out of the woods from nowhere every single time haha. Learn as many real military tactics as you can. I personally was taught by veterans and law enforcement.
And remember your ptsd is not service related everyone!!
My most intense experience in all of Arma was earning my SERE tab though.
Imagine you have no guns and are being hunted down by enemy patrols in every single direction. If you die you fail, and every direction we ran in had enemy troops. By some miracle of God we made it out alive and got our shiny tabs. With the game masters using terrible horror sounds of people screaming bloody murder and everything in between to wear us down psychologically. After awhile I became completely numb and actually stopped feeling rushed of adrenaline when the enemies started shooting at us again, my team made it to the extraction point dead last. When we arrived I could no longer feel anything at all. The rushes of fear and adrenaline were overwhelming at times. Me and my buddy just went over past our joking teammates and stared off into the distant ocean via thousand yard stare. The GM doing the scary sounds was a former marine too hahaha
Just a heads up to people watching, most of this doesn't pertain to vanilla arma reforger!
@JakeT9944 well only ones that require mods are the back blast, and range finder I believe. Because demolition charge, picking up friends, tourniquet, multiple scopes (m16 sights), 2d scopes, low ready, and the driving boost is all in base game. Not sure about the dune pile
I swear they added dugouts on console.... Cant seem to find it now. Ive used it before. Anyway, good vid
You can also use your map to judge distances as each little square is 100 m

Last I tried you can use the American “clacker” for the tnt as well and vise-versa

You should do a video on your countroller settings bc they’re jacked on reforged when you first start
I honestly think my controller settings are the normal but I'll have to check! But I changed a few things on mouse and keyboard tho!
@@riotmaker650 ohh okay, I tried switching controller settings around and the controls just intertwine if that makes sense. I just reset them and use some binds like comms just on my keyboard

@@nunny02 it should be part of the base game part of the shovel. I will have to check it out when I get home from working night shift.
Unfortunately it must be a mod because I could only do it on the WCS server #3 and the button for controller is X
Probably should mention there are mod involve. Most of the thing mention are not vanilla.
Ya true but at least I do state it is a WCS server and all there servers are modded
Can xbox players add pc players as friends?
@no1washere89 they can play together on arma but you cant friend request each other. The game doesn't have a invite system. But generally pc and xbox can be friends together on other games like cod and such
HEY ALL, Can anyone help with a server connection problem? I cannot see any servers when trying to play and just get a 'Cannot connect to severs error' something about backend? have tried several fixes from 2 years back as It was a common problem, until this is fixed the game is useless. Just to add my PC Is very capable and i do not have any connection problems with other games in my library. Thanks to anyone that can help.
@gibbs677bg I will look into this! But in the meantime, maybe clearing the local data from the game or full uninstall from steam and reinstall.
