I would love to hear about her daily routine and how she balances everything. Your podcast has helped my Marriage in so many ways and helped me really learn to hold myself accountable. I love having a traditional marriage but I was definitely not raised that way so it’s great to see another woman who was raised like I was and also chose this life. Thank you for what you guys do ❤

I would love another one of these where peaches goes more in depth about being a women and self care vs how she approaches her relationship because theres alot of self love and consideration that needs to be built within yourself to have a healthy relationship first

I just want you guys to know that I’m 15 years old and my dad and his girlfriend remind me of you guys and they listen to you guys daily and I’ve never seen my dad happier, peach looks exactly like my stepmom but my step mom has purple instead of red, but back to my point as a 15 year old and learning this stuff it has really impacted my relationship with my current girlfriend in the most positive way

On sleep: my husband has PTSD from his time in the Marines. His nightmares get worse during the summer because that's when he was experiencing the heaviest enemy fire. When we first started dating, it was summer. I always put my hand on him and asked him if he was ok. One day, he teared up, I asked him why. His previous girlfriend (cohabitated) would get angry at him for waking her up and tell him to sleep on the couch. I was shocked by how callously a woman, who claimed to love him, could treat him. It's not just women getting the shaft out here folks.

Watched the gentlemen's podcast earlier today!! And I'm so excited to have this on my screen now. I was mulling over everything I listened to today at work tonight.. and its really sinking in. Its been a while since a podcast has resonated with me enough to keep me hooked. And you guys have my full attention right now. I'm not in an active relationship. but this information can be utilized in so much more in everything. professionally, with my two young children... future relationship possibilities. And I'm like an infant soaking in all this information like a sponge. Looking forward to the coming podcasts once I catch up to your current work.

I really like how you guys are always trying to understand other perspectives even if you have your opinions on situations. It's great talking to people or listening to people with other opinions and perspectives because that's how you actually figure out the best solutions. I think people would realize how much they argree on things if they were just willing to shut up and listen to what the other person has to say. There's always common ground, it's just people's egos tend to get in the way.

My husband loves playing video games and every Saturday plays d&d so I started playing video games and d&d because I can see hiw much it means to him to enjoy those hobbies. He used to feel guilty to play them and not spend time with me so now that we both can enjoy it together it has really helped us be able to bond ❤ now if he says he just wants to do it alone then I step away and go do my own hobbies but that's been a rare case where he didn't want me to participate

13:27 one of my insecurities/fears is that my bf will stay with me if he ever becomes unhappy/miserable in the relationship. He stayed with his ex (mother of his son) for years after he was “checked out” of the relationship. The only reason he left was because of a ‘huge incident’. Granted I’m only hearing one side of the story…but still a fear of mine.

This ep reminded me of a sad moment I had for a friend. My husband sometimes travels for work and he's in the National guard so he has to drill some weekends. I pack he's bag for both occasions. I had a friend tell me that he's never had anyone pack his bag for him, he's former military. None of his ex wives or girlfriend have done it. I've been packing my husbands bags since we started dating.

It's crazy that it has already been over a year since I've started listening to you guys. I started on Spotify looking for help with my relationship and ways to improve as a wife. This was one of my first streams I listened too and I dove deep after. I came back to it today, and I just have to say that I see that you both have not only matured as individuals but also as partners in life. The progress I see in you both makes me feel hopefully that there will be progress in mine. Thank you for your honesty and advice. Without it, I wouldn't have ever opened my eyes to my part in the downfall. Peaches, I would love a redo of this list someday! What do you feel being a good wife means, not just Chris's wife, but in general. What can we do as women to support our men in ways that he feels appreciated. I would love to hear it! Thanks again, love, light, and prayers in all your future endeavors!

The sleep thing!!!!! My husband has nights where he tosses and turns. For him, it’s as simple as me rolling over and putting a hand on his arm or his chest. It’s like it calms his mind and he goes back to sleep. We don’t wake up and discuss right then, because I too am a restless sleeper, so I’ll be up the rest of the night, but I help calm him in the moment and am there if he needs to discuss the next morning! I love that I can do this for him!❤

I've been watching yall from the beginning and I did alot of stuff wrong at first, I have went through a divorce unfortunately but through that I saw what I did wrong and have changed alot and how I react to situations now bc of that. With that I've learned who my friends are bc alot of people turned their backs on me bc they say I've changed too much and what i have to say without yelling and screaming and reacting like i use too hurts there feelings and think i shoudnt think that way that i will wind up alone, even my ex husband and alot of my own family thinks that. That really does hurt me a little bc my family has always been very important to me but I know I can't just have their influence and beliefs bc that wouldn't be me I would just be a clone of them. It was hard to except that I have more to change and watching yall is showing me that and how happy yall are and I want that for myself but at my age it's so hard to find anyone that sees a relationship the same way that I do they mainly see it as a sexual thing and that's it and I don't, and I just want to thank yall so much for doing what you are and putting everything out there and helping other people just like me. ❤

I won’t say I want this. Because I just don’t. But the reality is, you have opened my eyes to some things and presented very intense thought for me that I very much appreciate. I’m in the Army so I wash my uniform tops turning them inside out to leave the patches on the velcro shoulders. This solidifies them onto the uniform, making them much harder to accidentally get pulled off whenever I take equipment like a ruck off for instance. It also saves me time not have to get them perfectly on the center of the pocket each time and to find where my crazy kids hid them (they’re obsessed with the patches and will play with them if they find them not attached to my uniform). If you don’t turn the uniform inside out though, the tumbling in the washing machine and dryer ding up the corners of the patches and can make them look a little messed up over time.
Well, normally Sunday night each week I do my weekly uniforms but my wife had already done it for me. When I was getting ready for work, I pulled my top out of the dryer and it was not inside out. I smoothed down the corners of the Velcro patches and they looked good still. Before I left I said to her “hey, if you wash my uniforms do you mind folding it inside out?” And explained the patches getting messed up over time. She nodded and I went through the rest of my day as normal.
When I saw your video it really put into perspective some things for me. I wanted to apologize to her and chose to wait until I could see her in person after work. I looked at her and said “I just want to say that I owe you an apology! Yesterday, you took the time to wash my uniform. You were intentional with it too, making sure to take out my pens, paper and all my other every day items out of the pockets. You went out of your way to do something nice for me and…”
Before I could finish she said “and you still complained…? HAHA!” To which I responded “YES!! I’m very sorry. I’ve been thinking about it all day and just wanted to say I’m sorry, I see you and appreciate you! Do you forgive me?”
(Side note, we are HUGE and asking for forgiveness instead of just saying sorry. We both grew up being forced to say sorry to others and giving a half ass apology through sorry never gives the other person the power over the forgiveness. Asking for forgiveness is a thing we’ve done to give the power to the one slighted to process the emotions and truly forgive. We implement this with our kids too. They’re allowed to say yes or not right now, but no within our loving family is not a permitted response)
Just seeing her body language, the way her eyes twinkled at the acknowledgment and appreciation for her efforts as I apologized was truly life changing to me. I could see the validation she so desperately craved being realized in real time and made me understand visually that despite how much I love my wife and try to express that, many times it gets lost in translation because I don’t realize that I’m neglecting the way she needs me to communicate that love to her.

The interest thing, I did the with my boyfriend. He really likes going to the gym and working out and I personally have never been a very physically active person but I have been wanting to get into shape so I asked him the other day if we could go together. We’ve gone twice now in the morning and we go on walks which he likes and I can tell that he enjoys having me do that with him.

I love your content! I just recently began watching your podcasts from the beginning. I found the gentleman podcast to be incredibly helpful, it was mostly general rules that would apply to everyyone. This one however, seemed very specific to your relationship and did not contain as many general rules that would apply to other people's relationships. Are there any more general rules or suggestions that you have to make a traditional woman in a traditional relationship better at it? Thank you🌻.

Honestly. With Peaches first point i understood it further than communication, i think it really was 1- keep an active understanding in your every day interaction with yiur husband thag he is a person, and he may not communicate the best. So your active understandinf truly keep a good float to your marraige when yiu can stop the moment and say- what do you mean? How does that make you feel when i do/say this? (:

The dinner plate! 😂 the first time I did it my poor guy looked at me like I was insane 😂😂 then when I noticed he didn’t get his tea I just got it. Don’t ask if he wanted it just brought it to him he literally goes WHY!?! I was like you needed a drink what? He was like that’s seriously NEVER happened before. Unless we’re sitting at the table with the meal in front of us he gets served 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
