PROBLEMS with KNOTTS over years-They can't keep up maintaining their rollercoasters over years but, I rather go to a SIX FLAGS or to a CEDAR FAIR park any time over Knotts !!
Magic Mountain and Knotts berry farm are already unique parks. One is more family, which they are catering to the reservations, taking place, and with the announcement of them bringing back Montezuma’s revenge and maybe adding something different or by taking away that terrible mouse type coaster that hurts like hell they will be ready for the Olympics scheduled to come in Los Angeles.a
This is a park I really want to get out too, but from what I see, its main problem is a lack of flat rides. Hopefully, they will add some throughout the park.
Swings, pirate ship, crazanity, carousel, lex luthors drop, turbo spin, bumper cars, scrambler. Then you can pay for go karts and the sky drop thingy. Did I miss any?
after visiting Kings Island, Cedar point, Canada's Wonderland, Dorney park, SF Great Adventure, King Dominion and Carowinds!! in the last 18 days I been saying SFMM needs a GIGA but not 325 or 300 no they need a +390ft if not a +400 Ft GIGA just like Fury 325/ Leviathan but on roids cuz the best coaster I got on were Kingda Ka, Fury 325, Leviathan, Orion, The beast, Maverick, MForce, Project 305, El toro and Valravn and SFMM needs a GIGA but has to break records Project 305 was Intense but not enough has too be like Fury 325 and Project 305 fuse together and Make it in the DC arena make it a villain theme Darkseid or Injustice league one.
They are probably looking at a 2025 or 2026 opening for their next coaster depending on how many other coasters the chain is opening in 2025. I'll probably do a video on Fiesta in the next couple of weeks.
8:10 💯 This is what I've hoping for and I think makes the most sense for the park's/company's success. It fills a gap, would draw big interest from GP and enthusiasts alike, wouldn't be too intimidating for the GP, it would most directly compete with Universal and the Fast and Furious coaster. It's really the perfect fit and can't think of anything better.
One more thing, with all the housing development around MM idk how much leway theyre going to have to build big in the future, or maybe even now. If the next coaster isnt huge i dont think well ever see a big one built there again.
Love your videos, you make the down season exciting. Keep it up. I can tell you put a lot of thought into your speculations. I do wonder about the merger though. Typically when two companies merge, the first order of business, to appease share holders, is to cut costs. I feel 2025 and maybe 2026 are done but after that we may go into a lull as the company shrinks it's debt.
I just started your video, and you need to separate your voice and the music more because it's difficult to hear and understand you, I'm not sure what you use to edit with but if you are using premier pro or final cut there are a ton of great resources in terms of mixing your audio to make sure that your voice doesn't sit in the same frequency range as the music so that way the voice is clear, if not then I would just bring your voice up and bring the music down
@@Loopingthrills There’s a tool on premiere I honestly forgot what it’s called, but if you search on UA-cam how to mix vocal audio on premiere pro there’s a ton of great videos and then once you have all the settings down it’s way easier in the future cause you just have it preset
I do think the merger means the knott's Giga is coming to MM instead. A Giga over the Golden Bear Theatre would have to sprawl over so much of the park though, bridge/tunnel over other rides, I just don't think they would put a giga there. More likely would be Mack Extreme spin, maybe 250ft drop.
They just need to upgrade the park in general more things to see more amusement and themes all the other park have a nice theme and tone to the park SIXFLAGS mm is just dirty and boring they need a park renovation and staff upgrade for sure
They’re going to have to come up with a mega coaster that is needs to be so unique in 2025 because of the Olympics coming. A lot of the Asian communities that have insane roller coasters are going to expect to have a roller coaster so big massive and unique in order to drive themto the parks. That’s why universal is building their coaster and let’s forget about Disneyland and Disney World because they have the best Disney parks than anyone in the world.

also as mentioned Magic Mt doesn't need to be a family park. It's always been the 'EXTREME' park of all 6 Flags. All large coasters broke a record if not 3 when opened. Magic Mt is the extreme thrill park while you want a cedar fair/6 flags family experience now visit Knott's
Idk if Sfmm is getting a coaster in the near near future but whatever coaster they do get next I hope is the biggest coaster they make in terms of height and or scale atleast in terms of like x2, tatsu, goliath, superman size. It can easily be a giga and or hyper that skies over the park and goes around in the park kind of like Expedition Geforce or something
They're missing that one true coaster that truly trumps the other 20 coasters without much subjection as THE best coaster in the park without question, they need a giant coaster to really drive it home that this is the thrill capital of the world, they need an rmc giga (or strata at this point) Trex with a 500 ft drop, and what with universal studios Hollywood currently in construction of what seems to be their biggest thrill coaster yet west of the Mississippi, Six Flags, let alone Six Flags Magic Mountain, would Have to step their game up, so their new coaster would also need some controlled spins within it as well. Sfmm's next coaster will be a 500 ft rmc trex strata with controlled spins & that also holds the record for the longest top gun stall in the world. boom, see yall back here in the next few years when they start building it/eventually build it to know who got it right 😤😤😤
I would love for a giga to be built at SFMM, but I would be happy with a new gen full circuit Vekoma coaster. Can't wait to experience these improved thrill machines.
My guess is that theyre gonna do snaller projects. Like add a pathway straight to DC or the underground from the front. Finish full throttles layout. Plus a couple smaller rides like a family coaster or flat rides.
I live in Florida and have several amazing coasters in my backyard. Have always wanted to go to MM, but the more videos I see, the less my desire is to travel all the way there. Most videos portray slow operations, one train operations, long lines, and there always seems to be 2-5 coasters down at all times. People complain about no shade. Also, the park is just not that pretty. No question they have an amazing lineup. But with all the drawbacks that I mentioned, I will be going back to Cedar Point in August and waiting for another yr or two to make it out to MM. I definitely know Six Flags won't be spending 30 million plus for a giga.
Six Flags has spent the last 3 years fixing up Great Adventure. The park looks the best it has in years & the operations are now top notch. The chain is now working on fixing up Magic Mountain while also giving them a major new coaster.
The RMC T-Rex is too similar to WWFOC. SFMM can get a tilt coaster if SF bought Energylandia's canceled tilt coaster for them. They've already done it for both GAdv and OG for the 2024 coasters.

Giga dive coaster
This is a park I really want to get out too, but from what I see, its main problem is a lack of flat rides. Hopefully, they will add some throughout the park.
Flat rides are few and far between here
