To hear the story about the broken arms, and then watching you and wanting to ride again, that was deep. Then, you hit the same adversity in the first moto, and when a lot of riders would have gone back to the trailer, you remount? NUTS! I don't think the day was as much about what place you finished, as much as you just finishing. Great FN ride man.
Grit, heart...words don't measure your ride at Washougal. That was painful to see but you encouraged all your fans by racing and finishing. Fav 250 racer, great work Austin and Gas.

There is no other sport like this. I wish the world could see how insanely tough both mentally and physically riders like you have to be to survive. There are no time outs. There is no ref to stop the fight. This sport is sheer willpower of the mind and body on good days and brutal bad days. To even line up let alone finish the second Moto? Motocross riders are just built differently. Respect

Good luck challenged is how you look at. It will change the game for you to a positive perspective and move forward. I’ve had rough patches myself also. I remember watching Jeff Emig after a bad race and he said “we are just good luck challenged” he ended up changing the rest of the season after that. Life kicks you down when you have fight in you. Never stop fighting.
