I've checked these out a few times but I have the 7 & 10" Knipex pliers wrenches so since I dont work on my car that often (but do sometimes) I didn't really see the need for the Weras but now that I see It, I understand the need more 👍🏻
I work on a system where we constantly have to R/R b-nuts in the field. Two of those Jokers cover all of our sizes. I keep them in my jacket. Reaching into my pocket and immediately producing the correct tool has become my superpower. And you can imagine how much faster it is to turn flare nuts with the faux ratcheting feature.
An important point is which clamp damages the screw head less?, the knipex if used correctly does not matter how many times you use it to insert or remove the screw, if you use it correctly, it does not damage the screw head.
Why didn’t you set the Knipex plier wrench correctly, the handles should be almost together when set up right allowing you to grip both at the same time. Only then will the Knipex shine, the more pull you exert on the handles the tighter they grip, eliminating the chance of slipping. I use them on chrome finish nuts, or brass nuts and they have undone some pretty tight fixings.
I guess you are all professionals u can't tell the deference ? wretch is wretch now the knipex thing we call them differently in my country dont know the name it does miracles in plumping but when u have Copper fittings you can use only wretch both are amazing tools but different use
A Very helpful video. I was thinking about putting my money in a Knipex or buying the wera set, now I guess I have to buy them both.

They just introduced a knock off of these at advance auto under the diehard name called smart wrench
Try only putting force on the back handle of the knipex, they’re meant to be unidirectional sadly.

U r using knipex wrong. U can adjust the jaws so the handles will be very close.
Socket wrench

Eww, continental. Thanks for the perspective
Knipex vs Wera? More like Knipex and Wera.
Mispronounced both brands ;)
