Some move on and some go into depression or fall apart. My teacher was always happy and cheerful until her mother passed away and she was devastated. Quit teaching and went through a phase for 7 years until she finally decided to recover from it. But my coworker lost her dad and husband and continue to come to work because she got kids to take care of. Everyone is different and mature differently. We can't just assume everyone thinks the same way.
