“Oh wow! We tried our best to make Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum into a serious album, but of course we're not very good at that, and the temptation to make a disco party anthem was all too great. So we ended up with this song. Extra special thanks to the wonderfully talented Alex Henderson for making this amazing animated video, and of course thanks to Matt Cockram for playing the egg (it's just before verse 2, if you're interested).”

@@Dosenpruegel Doesn't happen often, but when it does it's super fun because there's been no outside opinions or any hype to influence my opinion of it. I recorded it at like midnight my time last night, and have had it stuck in my heads since waking up just now. Haha

S tier animation, A tier song. Song lacks clarity, little bit more lyrics. It sings party time, but words are compressed together. It is harder to distinguish them and it doesn't have the omphf which you would suspect.

The animation was so much better than I expected when I saw the Thumbnail! I mean it doesn't really get much better than this. Definetly one of the best animated music videos I have ever seen. Probably even THE best.

My favourite part of the whole animation is at 1:15 and the ensuing little dance. Its soooooo good, i just love it so much.
I loved the references to another alestorm's songs in the map during all the video. I cried when I saw "Sgriubh-á-dubh" at 1:00 because Pegleg Potion it's one of my favorite songs 🥺
Y'know what makes this song awesome? It speaks to me--someone who's never once drank in their life, and never plans to. When straight-edge peeps like me can hear the message loud and clear, you know you've got one hell of a party going on!

I was just thinking to myself how I haven't listened to these guys in a long time, then this pops up in my feed. What a banger
I used to drink beer literally every day, I'm happy to say I've cut down a lot but today I'm indulging in a few beers because well, it's my birthday. How did I celebrate? Well I made myself and my dear old mom a killer dinner with pepper beef, baked potatoes and homemade garlic butter. When I say homemade I mean it, churned from cream. I love cooking, baking and everything related to it so this was a hobby treat for me. Of course Alestorm graced my speakers throughout the process. Rock on mateys!
