This mod is by no means a cure-all; memory leaks still occur, albeit much less frequently. You shouldn't expect good performance on GPUs with less than 6 GB of VRAM (at least in settlements like Rostok). While there're many configs that degrade graphics, the priority of this mod has always been quality over FPS. The developers have been creating similar mods for other Unreal Engine games for years, so I believe they have a knack for it.
TL;DR I'd take this "blurry mess" with great graphics and fluidity over running some C.S.T.A.L.K.E.R 1.6-ass config at native resolution without FG 🤗 Leaving aside developers' optimization mess as of now, it depends on what "playable" means to you. Quality-wise, yeah, all these DLSS options and framegen do degrade image quality. But from personal experience, it’s not bad at all on a 15-inch monitor. As for input lag, it’s actually great because more frames mean less input lag*, especially with the forced Reflex Boost this mod offers. * - you might need to tweak it for FSR FG (r.OneFrameThreadLag=0).
Looks amazing with this mod, have you encountered any problems or issues yet?

Do you use any cooling pad?
Hi! I'm using a regular laptop stand, something like OfficePro LS320.
Adding fake frames and claiming its playable, LOL
