Lüshun is based on the modification of the Project 41 destroyer, a design for the USSR Navy, which we have in as Neustrashimy. Project 41, sometimes referred to as the Neustrashimy−class, was a design put forward by the Soviet Navy in the early 1950s for a destroyer adapted to the realities of post-World War II warfare and doctrine. However, with only one prototype ship of this class ever constructed (the same Neustrashimy that sails in World of Warships: Legends today), the design was deemed too cumbersome for mass production, and the Soviet Navy instead opted for a more compact option. But this didn’t spell the end of Project 41. With the Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship freshly signed, the 1950s were host to an era of unprecedented cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. One of the results of this was the transfer of Project 41’s blueprints to the burgeoning Chinese Navy (now known as the People's Liberation Army Navy or PLAN) which made some modifications to the design and began plans for serial production under the designation Type 051. Unfortunately for them, due to the rapid chilling of political relations between the two powers in the late 1950s and 1960s, however, the project would suffer significant setbacks before the new ships could be laid down. When they finally were, the ships were modified to function as anti-ship missile platforms. Lüshun (now called Lüshunkou) is a district of the Dalian Province in northeastern China, it is one of the People’s Republic of China’s most important port cities and for a historical importance it the place where the battle of Port Arthur took place. During the Russo-Japanese War, the Russian Pacific Fleet was a threat to the movement of Japanese troops to mainland Asia; in response, the Japanese staged a surprise attack on Russian warships at the strategically important Port Arthur (today Lushun, China), in Manchuria, before a declaration of war. The battle, and the larger war, exposed Russia’s growing vulnerability and instability.
I always speed boost right at the start of the game and go straight forward to spot as early as possible so that I can spot enemy ships before the enemy spots my ships. Good advice!
I love how with Spartan getting hard countered by Extended Range Sonar. His Win Rate is still 67%. I think it just shows the inherent strength of a Destroyer as the STRONGEST class in the game. By far has the largest game impact. A good DD, can change the whole game.
Yeah but their 1 in a million. Mot of them just dork around behind the whole team letting off torps as soon as they reload and never get a hit the whole game. They are dead set pathetic.
Great info as always. I am a newer player and am wondering how teams are broken up for matches? I play a cruiser and the game is no fun to play when you continually carry a losing team. Tier 6. Do people even have a simple concept of how to play the game? They don’t even protect the damn base. It’s so frustrating.
Lushun is cool. I run a Deng with Bey and Burke .....more concealment more better. observent rage is not worth the hit to rudder shift. IMO. slot 4 is better with Gun fire control mod
Hey Spartan, going back to when you were doing the "how to play" videos, would you mind doing a how to play for the USS North Carolina? It's one of my favorite ships and I would like to learn how to properly play the ship.
Nice video I am fine with the fire chance its because of that reload. On mine I have 1.8 reload, no mode that is a lot of shells going down range fast. So by just shear numbers thst is still a high fire chance. If they gave it any higher chance the ship be busted for HE spam.
Hey Spartan I have a World Of Warships Legends Challenge I would like to challenge you with and that is Yamato vs 9 Wyoming's or any 9 Battleships within that Tier of you choosing do you accept this challenge and you are allowed to have at least 2 retries before it becomes a failure. Spartan do you accept this challenge
Why do so many DD players basically fail to do a DD primary jobs of competing for caps and locating red team ships? It's really getting to be a huge pain in the arse.
You sure? Pretty sure it is “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” they were the Soviet UNION. Not UNITED like the United States lol. Careful spreading stuff bud! This is how history gets twisted!
@@NotTheBomb Sorry, that was the Soviet government tapping into my mind to make me spread propaganda: They want us to think they are united and not in turmoil.
@NotTheBomb pretty sure that's correct United Soviet Socialist republics is definitely "Union" or is equivalent in the Russian language so that's where we got the term simplified Soviet Union
Yeah. Ummm, I WAS looking forward to this thing....a large slow dd with dwts that doesn't turn?? This thing will get eaten alive by other dds. Another rusty bote in harbor.......
I'm far from a garbage destroyer player... I like to have the advantage in spotting enemy DDs Helping to remove enemy DDs is why my DDs usually average 67% to 70+% win rates
It's a fresland with torps
