Awesome, been waiting for this to add to my Retro GEM GH-032-11 - thankfully no laser fix on this revision. Is the 3D printed mount designed to take a GEM flex into consideration? On this revision board the DAC is on the bottom of the board and the flex wraps round the edge of the board to the top side just below the DC connector.
Any ways of troubleshooting? I looked at my joints under a microscope and I don’t have any bridges. HDTester keeps saying “no HD” I am not too worried yet because I don’t think my 16GB PNY drive is working with iFlash. I have the 512 GB PNY you recommended otw. I formatted the 16 GB with ps2 format on WinHIIP, is that ok or just stick with ExFAT?
Never mind it was my soldering.... always quadruple check your joints people!!! I also wanted to add that I have a Modbo 5 in my slim and it fits. obiviously it totally depends where you put your chip, thankfully mind was out of the way enough and the 3D printed bracked cleared the wires
You can buy literally this console right now if you want to! arthrimus.com/product/ps2-slim-scph-70011-iflash2ps2-installed/
Excelente trabalho!!! Parabéns!!!
Lol I love the sound of an ice cold beer being open. Great video my friend.

Yes the 3D print allows the Retro GEM flex to pass through.

Would you consider doing a version with a full sized sd card reader? I don't mind cutting one of the PS2 vents to make it fit
Sorry, but no. There's not enough space under the motherboard to fit a full sized SD card slot. They are too tall. The micro SD card slot barely fits.
Which version of OPL does this use and is the sd card formatted to exfat?
I'm using Grimdoomer's fork of OPL with an exFAT formatted SD card, but you can use any version of OPL with this mod.
You can setup sd to boot freemcboot instead of memory card
If you’re referring to FHDB, that isn’t possible with IDE mods on the 70000 slims.
