Really like the nighttime lighting reviews! Auto stylists are creating amazing lighting effects with LED/ambient accents both inside and out on cars to differentiate their brand & make it even more eye catching. Very well done! Your camera equipment looks very much up to the task - you guys are relentlessly awesome to do this! 💡
This is car looks better than its sibling Altima. I love the Sentra SR looks better than last generation wouldn't mind owning one if was looking for subcompact car think the black roof it should have had dual panoramic moon roof on the SR premium package. It looks beautiful inside and out what used to be small car driving to college is now a sportier oriented upgraded compact sedan.
@@goregeegaming I saw a red SR model it was beautiful seen few on the road so they are getting popular. Nissan really did a well job with that car wish the SR Premium had dual moonroof instead of black roof should added dual moonroof who knows later with the 2023 mid cycle refreshed model.
@@ramoncarter6585 so you are right I am starting to see a lot of them on the road but one thing is I was right next to a sentra basic model it looked nothing like mine :) I almost want people to buy the Altima instead lol I don't want to see moms driving this thing lol
Great video! Thanks for showing us all the cool lighting. I believe they did a fantastic design job on this new Sentra. Just as you do, Nissan went the extra mile to distinguish it from the pack!!!
I like these night vids, very cool and different. This particular Sentra does look great at night, the lights down by the rocker panels look awesome. The license plate lights can easily be switched out for LEDs to match the headlights and fog lights, just a thought. Seems like an easy diy project.
Mason I'm really enjoying the night reviews! I don't think you'll be disappointed with the ambient lighting on the Aviator and the new Pathfinder for next year.
WOW! In the latest Consumer Reports 2020 Annual Auto Issue (April) and 2020 Best & Worst of New Cars (currently on newsstands), the new Altima BEAT BOTH the Camry & Accord in reliability! The Altima received a DOUBLE ARROW UP rating, the HIGHEST rating. The Accord received an AVERAGE rating, while the Camry received a SINGLE ARROW UP rating. Looking forward to the all-new stylish and seductive Sentra following in the same path! Great job Nissan!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hope they finally fixed all the cvt issues. We have a 15 sr in the best color for the body lines - metallic blue. Really love the b17 car's design, but that cvt really sucks.
I love Nissan and all they‘be been putting on the table since 2016. Hopefully they pull themselves out of their crisis and gain more loyal customers. They also don’t need to ditch their Cvt’s either, let those people go buy something else 🤷🏻♂️
I totally agree. I drove an Infiniti QX60 (Pathfinder in disguise) this past week. It reminded me once again how impressive the VQ35DE-CVT combo feels. SOOOO much more responsive and smooth than its competitors!!! I've always loved this configuration in the Maxima, Murano, Quest & Altima.
If you mean offering a manual transmission, then I TOTALLY AGREE with you. It would be a dream-come-true if Nissan decided to do so. (I loved my 2002 Maxima 6MT, which was sideswiped and totaled by an inattentive driver while street-parked one night last year!) HOWEVER, if you're referring to an alternative to the CVT, I must kindly and strongly disagree with you. I drove an Infiniti QX60 (Pathfinder in disguise) this past week. It reminded me once again how impressive, athletic and responsive the VQ35DE-CVT drivetrain configuration feels. SOOOO much more responsive and smoother performing than its competitors with their terrible feeling conventional 8-9-speed transmissions!!! Ditto with the 2020 Maxima I flogged last November. AWESOME!!!! I've always loved this set-up in the Maxima, Murano, Quest & Altima V6.
Craigslist Seller, that’s what I mean. A manual trans. Now I have a an ‘09 maxima with 132k miles on it. No CVT problems at all. I just wish that Nissan would move into a better exterior style design next year. And I may consider getting another maxi
@@mikedior3089 Have you driven the current-generation Maxima yet? It's intoxicating! The CVT is soooo responsive. 100MPH whizzes by swiftly and the quietness of the cabin is extraordinary...almost eery, in a good way. Haha! On a side note, I've ALWAYS loved your 2009 Maxima styling. My friend had a 2012 (He owns a 2018 Altima SR & 2010 cube today, but he still misses his Maxi). The rear fender flares/bulges are reminiscent of the R35 GT-R. The front headlight design pays tribute to the early-mid 2000s JDM Nissan Stagea Wagon. I love all of it....!
If this car had a DCT or even a regular geared automatic w/LSD AND 50 more horsepower...would be a great buy. As it stands, the CVTs fake shifts, reliability worries, and complete lack of power ruin an otherwise beautiful design. Too bad really. I want to like this.
I have a 2016 Civic Touring sedan and I'm impressed with this new Sentra SR. It's 147hp motor is it's only real downfall vs the current 10th gen Civic in my opinion.
@trial None to speak of. Actually, I've had no issues whatsoever in my 2 1/2 years of ownership. So sorry to disappoint you with no tale of my engine blowing up.

@Jack Frayn WRONG!!! Stop being part of the clueless Nissan/CVT-hating parrot brigade. I have nearly 250K miles on my 2007 Nissan Versa SL. We bought it new and have had zero problems whatsoever with it. We've performed all the recommended CVT fluid flushes/exchanges on time, every 40-60K miles. Our family also owns or has owned a stable of other Nissan-equipped vehicles -- ALL of which have been WONDERFULLY RELIABLE, serving us faithfully with absolutely no issues whatsoever: 2009 Altima, 2010 cube, 100% made-in-Japan 2013 Quest & 2014 Maxima)!!! Recommended maintenance is critical to the longevity of any vehicle. Our aforementioned '07 Versa SL (with Intelligent Key!) is still going strong. The cube 121K. Quest 96K. Maxima 85K. The Altima had 168K when my cousin traded it in for a 2019 Alti SR. For those owners who experience problems, I strongly suspect owner neglect -- or more likely, previous-owner/previous lessee neglect -- may have much to do with it. Our Nissan service advisors have also shared how Jiffy Lube and outside mechanic shops have wrongly and fatally filled Nissan CVTs with conventional automatic transmission fluid. Sadly, these cars end up being towed-in to Nissan dealerships due to the ineptitude of idiot mechanics and automotive repair shops.

Good review & great Sentra.
Great review, man. Loved it

Good looking car

Not a big nissan fan but this car looks very nice
VERY INTERESTING TO SEE THE WALKTHRU OF THE NIGHTVIEW WITH ALL THE LIGHTS
Beautiful lights inside; really pretty.
The Sentras look more sporty than the Altima in my opinion
Good job mason. Theres one thing i dont like about this 2020 model. The handbrake, its 1900's.
This car looks good but if I'm going to buy one from Nissan, I'll pick the Nissan Qashqai. It's higher and have the AWD option.

Sounds about correct! I heard they updated the CVT on their 2019/20 models.
Is the ambient lighting only on the SR premium? Mine doesn’t have it and it’s a 2021 SR.

This car looks big for a sentra but I like it though.
The Sentra been became a bigger car

i want to know about the TPM on sentra 2020.
How did you keep the lights from under on?
Esas leces leds son adaptables?, porque en México donde se producen dichos vehículos no cuentan con ellas, sino con otras de reflectores múltiples.
If they make the maxima some what similar in looks, and another transmission option. The maxima would be their best seller again 🤷♂️

What kind of rims are these?!!
Pretty much the same instrument cluster and infotainment system ripped out the Altima
I made a couple How To videos on changing the interior and license plate bulbs to LED on my channel for the 2020 Sentra!
So cheap they couldn’t add a bulb for the door locks?? 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Drives me nuts at night
It’s funny because the old Sentra had led taillights but not headlights lol
