Hello dear friends, Here are my January 2021 Luxury Beauty Favorites and a few fails. I always share with you my honest opinions on luxury beauty products. Please keep in mind that the products that I don’t like might be good for you. The fact that I didn’t like them doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try them. However, for as long as I have my UA-cam channel I will always share with you my honest reviews and opinions. I want to be useful to you 😊 I hope you enjoy!

I really really appreciate your attention to detail in showing products in natural light so we see really true colour....very few people go to the trouble of doing this and often I am not sure of a product because artificial lights can change colours so much....
Aromatherapy is so interesting. Maybe consider a dedicated video?

Thank You for mentioning fragrances in products. I am allergic to most of these fragrances and cannot go near them let alone use them.
I am grateful that you talk about this problem- it helps me decide on what to purchase

I am fascinated by the Darphin oil...would love a link for it. Also, more on aromatherapy would be wonderful. I have been using the (crazy expensive! Total splurge when it was on sale) Sisley velvet cream...mostly because I love the way it smells! I also have been impressed with how it has calmed my 58 year old skin. Thank you for your reviews. The TF eye shadow palette actually didn’t interest me until I saw these swatches. Now I am reconsidering. My only TF palette is Nude Dip on your recommendation, and I love it! I have been a Chanel lover for 35 years and have been sadly disappointed in recent launches. I am just not a fan of the reds...

I so appreciate your honesty, I think it’s bizarre when people recommended products, and don’t ever mention the fragrance, so many times I’ve gotten a recommended product and upon using it I then realize there is a obscene fragrance, and I’m am so sensitive to fragrance, LIKE allergic reactions- NECK CRAMPS- Intense headaches, So thank you - Thank you for being so candid about fragrance!!! Love the Recommendations for January!!
Hello John and a huge thank you! Yes, fragrance in skincare is a huge issue. I'm usually not sensitive to fragrances but I noticed that as I get older I tend to prefer non fragranced skincare. As always thank you so much for watching my videos! It means a lot to me. xoxo

My favorite new purchase in January is Chantecaille Radiance Elixir. I resisted for quite a while thinking it was just another glowy cosmetic but I’ve been using it at night as well as day and I’m amazed at how refreshed my skin looks when I get out of bed. I also ordered the Chantecaille Future Skin Compact which hasn’t arrived yet, but honestly I’m only using makeup on days when I have Zoom meetings so I don’t mind the wait. Be well!

Love the Chanel hihghtliter / blush. And the Darphin oil been using for about three years now mostly as a primer and love. Always keep a bottle in my mini fridge. Some times apply on my face and neck over my skin vare before I get on my bed.

I had aurelia cream and that was not smelly at all. And I loved it for my dry skin.
Hello Marion, I'm usually not sensitive to fragrances and actually this happens to me for the first time to not be able to use a product because of the fragrance. It's strange but I just can't stand the scent. It's a pity because I have a feeling that this will be a good serum. Thank you very much for watching! Have a nice weekend! xoxo

Angela have you ever tried Hourglass Cosmetics and skin care?
I don’t like the soy face cleanser either. It barely takes off my makeup
The Fresh Soy cleanser really is suited for those with pigment. Soy is a wonderful active ingredient for fading (over long term use) of hyperpigmentation. I don't think this would suit your skin.
I have freckles, melasma, etc and utilize soy in several products. I prefer the SANA Nameraka Isoflavone toner because the soy stays on the skin rather than being rinsed off.
I am sad to hear you were disappointed in the Aurelia product. I assume the smell is from the botanicals. I use their Miracle Cleanser. It also has a strong smell - probably from the Eucalyptus that's in it. I don't mind most scents. Then again, this cleanser is washed off so the scent doesn't stick around.
