Great win for merab but aldo showed insane takedown defence he really is the best defensive wrestler in mma history no one has defended more than 12 takedowns from merab.

Merab had more significant strikes, more total strikes and 5minute control time. Merab deserved this win and won. Merab dominated 2nd and 3rd round. And in my opinion also won first round.

People in the comment saying Merab is boring and he is not a good fighter and in the crowd in the UFC arena booing at him tells me that they don't respect the hard-work he puts in and have no idea how hard it is fighting in the UFC cage against a tough opponent. If they think he is a boring and worst fighter in the UFC, then why don't they do it then, try fighting a tough opponent like Jose Aldo in the cage, try to make it more exciting in your own standard, and see how it goes. It is easy to just say those things than actually doing what Merab is doing.
