Protecting My $15,000 Carbon Bucket Seats

The Porsche Carbon 918 (Light-Weight Bucket Seats) seats are nearly $10,000 a piece from Porsche if you didn't spec them with the car originally. In this video we install the side bolster protectors from "CrazyEddie" on RennList to protect my investment with the bucket seats.

No shot they don’t touch the leather .... they are inside the carbon fiber ... and they don’t move ... 4 yrs going and not a mark on these seats

This solution is more to protect the seats for the next owner, but with all due respect, this solution makes the seats look really cheap! . It's like putting a tennis ball 🎾 on the gear shift knob or a cover from Walmart on the steering wheel. I have been using exactly these types of seats for thousands of miles in various Porsches, and when you use them carefully, nothing will happen. If for some reason the triangle piece gets scratched, it's easy to re-cover it with leather! Cool my friend!

Nope. It’s more like $13000. That’s how much they cost second hand from eBay. Porsche already charges $5900 to upgrade from the regular gt4 seats which were already upgraded.
