Can you tell me how long you waited for the lighter color to dry before you sprayed it with the water?

No need to prime your piece of furniture? Fusion mineral paint won’t have problem with dark wood bleeding through?

Depends on the wood and also if the topcoat is intact :) I didn't have any issues with this piece.

Was told physion and water don't mix

Fusion is water-based so it mixes without any issue :)
