I can see why the new KS is changing the book shuffle, it seems needlessly complex. Would you recommend the fore teller narration or do you like reading out the story?
I'm not really following what the game actually is here. So much was skipped over it just seems like reading and sometimes making a choice? But a lot of those were skipped too so idk. The page talked about how good the combat system is supposed to be but I haven't seen any of that here.
Other than a lot of names I won’t be able to pronounce this looks good.. this might be my first campaign game 😬😬 now just trying to figure out the pledge. Prob base + legendary (to get walls) + one painted dragon bc they look cool
If you are only getting it for the walls, I would recommend making your own with foam blocks! There are tutorials on how to make them look nice here on youtube.
I commented on the campaign about being unsure if I was going to up my pledge for the super box to get the terrain/etc pieces and dragori responded that there will be a scenario pack with just the terrain and extras from the legendary and penumbral boxes. I haven't seen it in the add on section but it might be available in the PM

Same, been diving in with my game group every Saturday and having an amazing time. Started off solo to get the hang of it for the teach and am genuinely impressed with how radically different our paths started to diverge. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses for you Alex :)
I'm torn between getting the deluxe storage boxes or not. If they work, great. But I've been disapointed with deluxe storage boxes that didn't solve anything with other games before.
Thanks for doing these Tanares videos! I know lots of people out there in Internet Land have strong feelings about paid videos. But, personally, I am really happy to have multiple gameplay videos about this game that I know will be high-quality and reliable! : )
How much time are you roughly spending with the narrative stuff (like everything outside of combat) and how much with combat? I really liked Gloomhaven basically, but for me the ratio of narrative and combat was just too much towards combat. Any advice?
Can I just say - I strongly feel these single-player Epic Campaign Games really are CRPGS and I think that's the appropriate forum for them. The skipping around rulebooks is a bad experience that makes playing the games (I'm referring mostly to Isofarian here) more frustrating than I think should be acceptable.

The good thing with isofarian guard is that they are making changes and providing them to first time backers for free.
