Very nice, simple, straightforward video. I like how you talk about the dimensions. That helps. Now I’ll look for how the burn went for you in the snowy cold. I’m interested in how warm things got for you and the burn times of the wood you were using. Enjoyed your video! Thank you for sharing!
Hi. Great vid and great stove. I was given one of these stoves only a couple of weeks ago. It’s great, but I noticed on lighting it, that air was getting in around the front door glass and controlling the air flow was a little tricky just using the bottom smaller door. I took the glass out and stuck some real flat stove ribbon onto it. I also added some to the inside of the larger door and doing this made a far better seal. The air control then was a lot more ‘controlled’. All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧😉
Yeah the door is not air tight but I don't see that as much of a problem since you always need some air getting in or the fire goes out. Might be a problem if you need a small amount of heat in warmer temps but I live in Canada so it is almost always cold when I use it.
Thanks for the nice video. I've been researching stoves, and I'm convinced now I need one of these. I think I'm gonna get the one with the side view though. The piping system, for the stove is in my opinion better than its competitors.
Thanks for the video. Do you find it works well without the heat protector pipe and flash kit? I got a medium size one and really don’t want to have to install a flash kit in my tent..
A new larger stove for my permanent hot tent campsite

I posted a couple of videos last winter that showed me using the stove

@@OutdoorsMyLifeYour fuel will last longer…with a better seal.👍🏾
@@Soggz7785 You are right, I have so much wood that it is unlikely that I will ever run out.
@@OutdoorsMyLife Probably not, but you will get a more economical burn too.👍🏾
@@Soggz7785 I agree
Thanks for the nice video.

Good choice!
Nice stove and worth the price
I agree

The flash kit is not necessary but it will keep rain water from running down the pipe.
I got the same stove with the triple wall chimney protector. I bought the flashing kit as well but I didn’t want to use it if I didn’t have to.
I think I’m going to pull the trigger and get the stove… Do you have to burn a particular kind of wood in this stove?
Not really, any dry seasoned wood will work . Hardwood is always better than soft wood
How long does the wood last for
@@josephfox7688 About 2 to 3 hours, hardwood lasts longer than softwood
I know a little old but at 6:21, what's that knife in the upper right corner?
My bad, 4:49 ish.
Good question, I don’t know, I found it years ago
Great video. They are made in china I'm having issues with quality for mine
Mine has been great so far
Your audio is severely lacking in volume...Terrible video because I can't hear you
Turn up your volume
