Absolute agreement here! I would ALMOST feel sorry for any buffoon who tried to mess with Floor in a physical manner. I mean, I would buy tickets to the event, but I would still kinda feel bad.

Mr. Rock and roll, I love the way you react towards Floor and the whole band Nightwish, I'm Dutch and never heard about Nightwish or Floor, until this "Beste zangers of Holland"was seen on television. I was totally blown away by their music and I'm 64 years of age.
Next year november 2020 I have bought tickets to go and see them in the "ziggodome" in Amsterdam. Looking forward to that event.!!

this song and the one before that where the time Floor had her clothes change in the middle of their performance. thats the reason she comes jogging out and grabbing the microphone. please listen to "Last of the Wilds" as well, its the song directly before this one in the concert and its completely instrumental.
for real though, you GOT to react to the whole concert. theres so much stuff happening between the songs its even better.

I'm surprised you haven't done Nightwish - Elan (From Wembley) or Endless Forms Most Beautiful (from Tampere) yet. Also My Walden and Edema Ruh from the same album.
Nope,this was halfway through the concert. Didnt you notice her come running in? She just had a dress change. She opened the concert in leather pants and a armless shirt/top. This is her "Xenia Warrior Princess aka Norse Goddess" dress lol.

One of the songs that originally got me into Nightwish in the first place back in 2003!
There really is something enchanting about Tarja's version. The song feels somehow richer in her voice. It was written for her after all. But I can listen to Floor sing anything, anytime.

I've seen the original version with Tarja Turunen live and it was an incredible experience. She obviously did it in a more "operatic" voice and even though Floor is also an classical singer, she does this beautifully with a more heavy metal touch in her voice, like always.
I still love the original, but I can't complain about this version!
Floor does everything exceptionally. Tarja is ONLY a classical singer. Floor abilities are rare.
7:10 you're impressed, I'm impressed: you can't go from headbanging back to beauty... Yes she can, and how... Her singing and body lanquage, perfecty in balance. Her windmills are so impressive, to control her breath as well, not any influence on her voice when she starts singing directly after her Dutch;) windmills. A deep bow to all the other artists as well, when you perform live so perfect.

What i like about your channel is how reserved and under control you comport yourself.
Dark chest of wonders was the opening and has been for a long time, but I can imagine this being the prior opening song for the band. This was the first track on the first (and still my favorite honestly) Nightwish album I ever bought, Century Child. I was so hyped back then by it and I still am!!

I had a group of friends who went to Wacken every year. Back when I wasn't really that much into metal yet. I was more into grunge. Now I start to regret that I never went with them...

Incredible Italian Metal band and one of the best concerts I've ever watched. The venue wasn't even some big production, just the band in simple black shirts and jeans, but giving one hell of a performance!

If you want a VERY special Nightwish song, go for "Higher than Hope" from the "Once" album. The last they did with Tarja. I don't know the exact story behind it but it is a very special song for Tuomas and they rarely sing it because of the emotional toll it has on him. You should give it a listen it is very very emotional. And it was also the final song in the final album with Tarja, it was like a farewell.

Floor is such a pro, late changing during the prior Last of the Wilds, her dress is not fully closed (Don't go back and slo-mo this trust me on it) and she had to run out to the mic and start in a really high note with the song....NP all done and she'll take care of the dress issue when she breaks during Ghost Love Score!! Hey bet you would love Floor to headlock you with those biceps (LOL)!!! Technical issues my a$$... your equipment can't handle anymore Floor and is finally doing what you do on the rug....melt down!!!!! BTW this was the 10th song or so (1st after changing into the Valkyrie Goddess miniskirt) and Dark Chest of Wonders was the opening. Catch that if you want your caffeine without any coffee (LOL)!!!

When Floor is on break from touring she spends much of her time working on her farm in Finland. That's probably where she developed the muscular arms. I saw a recent photo of Floor and her 2 year old daughter, Freja, riding their horses in the snow. Freja was on a pony and Floor on a huge horse that looked like a Clydesdale. Taking care of her horses is her favorite hobby. I don't think she spends much time sitting inside on the sofa.
She lives in Sweden now, before that she lived in Finland.

If you’re not familiar with the order of the songs, the dead giveaway that this is not the opening song is because she is wearing a skirt. She was wearing the leather pants during the first half of the concert. Probably was hot as hell and was glad to be out of them.
