If Makkari is buffed by Surfer she‘s maybe fine but I‘m not even sure a 0/3 is that good nowadays. Often times Proxima is a 0/7 and therefore a way better card. May Season brought so many great cards to the game but with this one I feel like she‘s powercrept by cards that are already out
I feel like Thena revives Silky Smoove which has never truly been good since it lost original 2 cost broken Elsa as a scaling pillar. The strength of that deck was having 3 scaling 2 costs so you basically always had one of them turn 2, and they all scaled well together.
Sersi in junk as an alternative for Annihilus or Lady Deathstrike sounds good. You can transform the hood, the void, rocks, etc.
@@Zzoniks he must be joking... Imagine transforming the void into spiderwoman, gamora, legion, leech... Sersi is effectively a 5/12 at least. I only mentioned junk but she can also be used in lanes with on reveal cards that already did their job, scorpion, Ironheart, white tiger, etc... She's definetly not a skip for me.

I’m not too sold on Gilgamesh being as busted as you say. It depends on if ongoing power counts too but how many cards by turn 5 or 6 will you have in play that have increased power? Still think he could be good but idk about busted
Ongoing Power does count because of how Evolved Abomination works. The wording is almost exactly the same.
@@ydgmdlu that definitely makes it better, mostly because of blue marvel. You need at least 5 buffed cards by turn 5/6 to make him a 5/12 which isn’t too crazy of a stat line so I don’t think he will be crazy busted but maybe I’m just missing something

@Briggetyt good luck triggering Rescue's ability on a full lane though.
I am being facetious though because that's a low roll and I do think both the card and the combo are quite good.

Arishem with thano in it would be wild. The stones allow you to draw more cards. The power stone would need a buff to draw more cards. It going to be fun playing it with Agatha
I don't understand Makkari. It's worse Angel, right? Angel's (theoretical) power isn't in the 1/2 body, it's that (40%-ish time) he leaves your deck, meaning you are more likely to draw your best card(s).
Makkari is just 5 power (3+Surfer) that goes somewhere without your control (unlike Angel, which you can choose/influence where he summons). Is 5 power what Surfer was missing?
Synergy for arishem Dare Devil. Crystal Adam Warlock, mobius. Just like tech card deck+ Arishem Shuri Task, maybe. Wave, and definitely blob. Way more synergy with Areshem
You changed my mind on thena I was thinking this was a whole skip month for me since July will be nutty.
For the season pass card, I'm probably not going to get it, but I would put okoye Nakia Luke Cage, Lockjaw... Auto fill. Then I'd tweak it, if need be. Also got to run My favorite card. Mbaku. Maybe, Ms Marvel/Martyr duo. If Hulkbuster is available. Maybe Howard to go with that. Place Iron buster on Ms Marvel, almost guaranteed win. Excuse, ehemm, Captain Marvel, Probably another good Areshem Card. Along with Sera
Definitely Majik. Or perhaps Modok, Hela would be good with Areshem. With Invisible and What's her face turn 5 no reveal. 4 cost. Along with Corvus blade, sif, Dracula, Apoc autofill
Sersi or Thena, IMO. They're the 2 that I want to get, at least. They have the best spotlight variants, too.
Season pass + Thena looks like the only ones worth getting imo. Then saving for july which looks great!
I'm sure Thena will be good, but I'm after Gm and X28 this month
Gilgamesh isn't busted, Gilgamesh is another Devil Dino (if you want to do Wong Odin or Zola you could just do Black Panther). Playable.
I disagree with a few things.
1. Sersi is definitely a very good card when used right. Besides the Junk combos and counters, using her with Brood gives you three 4-costs, which is pretty awesome despite the randomness, since even getting a Sentry won't be a big deal as Sersi would be included in decks prepared for the Void. She can also upgrade Rocks from Debris and Squirrels from Squirrel Girl. Her use also lies with cards that are needed only for their On Reveals and have low/average Power, like Grandmaster.
2. I personally think Phastos is easily the best card in this season, his ability is absolutely crazy, with no disadvantages at all. There's a chance you get -1 Cost next to next. Moreover cards like Brood, Shaw would do awesome with him. Surfer is gonna be stronger than ever.
3. Makkari is the worst card this season I think. She's only free 3-Power, that too on a random location and also costs you a draw. As another person said, Proxima is basically free 7-Power and yet people don't consider her that powerful (which is weird since her base stats alone are above vanilla). You'd rather having something else in Makkari's place.
Phastos looks like an insane everyone plays it 30% play rate card
Fastos into 3 power Deadpool with a 6 power hulkbuster, the dream is there. Can I make it happen? Probably like rolling a royal flush

Okay. The Void is the first real crazy good thing I've heard so far for Sersi. Also as an anti-clog converter. That value alone is actually really good... Great point there!

Yeah Arishem is irrelevant to Sersi. You shouldn't be using Sersi on ramped 6s, you're using her on free lower cost cards (Mysterio clones, Sinister, Void maybe, Shanna lanes maybe) or low power on reveals that have spent their purpose like Ironheart, Shang etc
Thena in pretty much any Kitty deck is going to be amazing!
Also, Kitty, Angela and Thena alone make Gilgamesh a 5/10.

Thena herself can be 2/10, though likely 2/7. Angela often 2/8 - 2/10. Havok 5/12 or 2/12 depending on whether you play Ravonna/Hope.

Gilgamesh! No! No but also yes! Bc I need to get him through Season pass😭, ok so Thena; don’t like her or her spotlight companions. Like Sersi for the chaos and the spotlights she’s gonna have. Hate Makkari, think that she is so bad and is just a little better than my boy M’baku. Phastos! My favorite card over all the month. Arishem! Omg I need to get him lol! how is gilgamesh OP? he is cleary a turn 6 play and his peak is 18 power but on avrg he will be 13-15 red hulk just claps him, and in odin decks.. thats your turn 5 and 6 going high in only one lane tho and you dont get to play white tiger to get power in other lanes :/

Sersi in Annihilus Mockingbird decks is great. You play the hood right, mysterio making sure an illusion gors right and Sentry. Then you play sersi turn 5 on that lane and your mockingbird is free plus your hood is now a 2 cost card, your illusion a 3 cost card and your void a 5 cost card. On the other hand, Makkari is not great a free 3 power vard is nothing now days, phastos is a better surfer card then her, just because its free doesnt make her good. She clogs you and does not provide much power. 3/4 maybe bit 3/3 is just nothing with today's powercrept. Makkari is the worst card of the season by far because at least Arishem will be fun although not great.
Makkari is the worst card they've released in a long time. It will clog you all the time in lanes where you don't want it to clog you and for what, 3 power? It is TERRIBLE.
Gilgamesh is mid.
Namora is a 5-16. Gilgamesh needs 9cards buffed to be a 5-16 and that is not easy.
Namora is NOT a 5/16. If you think that she always is, then you don't have the card or haven't played much with it. The 16 Power is just as conditional as Gilgamesh's.

Gilgamesh is going to be so strong with sera Shaw surfer or tribunal. This month is dogshit for drops
Not really suited for Shaw Surfer, as Gilgamesh is On Reveal.
Surfer deck wants to play Surfer last. Gilgamesh also wants to be played last.
Probably good with Patriot/BM as alternate win con.
