- Phoenix Force just got a major change that makes it feel like one of the most powerful plays in the game when combined with Multiple Man. This deck feels crazy strong.

Power Estimate: This deck feels very strong right now. It had a monster win and cube rate on my climb. It was already an underrated archetype, and with the recent bug fix for Phoenix Force, it has another way to absolutely steal games rather often. I suspect this will likely be a top tier meta deck once the data on this latest patch has settled.

If you don't have shuri and/or nimrod, I recommend you try Hulkbuster! If you play it into an empty location and move a pheonixed card into it, the Hulkbuster will merge with the card "before" the move happens, allowing you to get extra mileage out of MM or human torch effects!
You can also do some really tricky stuff with Hulkbuster and Nico like using her to move/destroy/pump a card you already played or using it with her double self effect. Hulkbuster is also good with Deadpool which is a great plan B replacement for Nimrod.
Wouldn the hulk buster remain as a diff card on the location if it is revealed first n cannot merge ?
If you mean move pheonix force into a lane where you play hulk buster, then yes it will merge with pheonix force before multiple man returns to his original lane. I needed to clear that up for myself lol

24:41 Nico here was on the X2 power spell, if you destroyed this Nico with carnage you would've had an 18 power Nico on turn 4 when you summon it back with Phoenix, or you could make that a 28 power Nico if you played Shuri on 4 and then Phoenix on 5, this 28 power Nico can become a two 56 power Nicos if you played Zola on the Phoenix...
This line is really cool but it rarely happens cause it needs a lot of stars to align at the same time.

Btw wanted to mention a fun interaction between nico and gamma lab, when nico turns into a hulk via gamma lab, and she had her double power ability up, she goes to a 24 power hulk. :)

Had a lot of difficulty climbing the last 90 to 100 this season and resorted to this deck as well to get to infinite last week, but i cut out the human torch, nico robin and forge and played magik, enchantress and crystal - and the deck win rate become a lot more stable
all this time I thought they intentionally make the Phoenix interaction that way in order to avoid busted combos and turns out it was a "bug" all along?!
Man your card draw luck amazing since you shared old phoenix deck with Chavez I'm playing this deck even with old Chavez you can't believe how many times i ended up with no cards to play in turn 4 without shuri and Phoenix 😂 this is still my favorite deck to play

I'm convinced Regis has a dev watching his streams. The amount of times he'd say " if I draw X into X it'll be perfect" or " come on X one time" then ends up drawing it is insane lmao.
I tried something very similar early today, however destroy being a pretty popular deck means you mostly just insta lose to it, you have zero control, torch dies to killmonger every time, destroying stuff just buffs their knull and makes their death cheaper. Other than that matchup it's a good deck.
Something was definitely odd @ 5:06. Phoenix force not leaving a copy at Shuri's lab? Hmm..
I think that happened because Regis played Ghost Spider before moving Multiple Man. Because of that, MM's effect resolves after being moved by Ghost Spider, so it doesn't see that it was originally at Shuri's Lab.
I used auto deck builder for groot and it built me a full discard deck with just groot randomly in there lol

Afaik it's not a bug, it's ordering. "When this moves" effects happen when the movement resolves, in play order. Since Regis played Ghost Spider before moving the Multiple Man, Ghost-Spider resolved first, moving MM from swer system to muir island, and then when the MM move action resolved the card added a copy to the last place it had been in, which at that point was sewer system. If Regis had moved the MM first, it would've added a copy to Shuri's before being moved by Ghost Spider.

I played a phoenix force /multiple man/torch deck before the change. And I could only ever draw either the move cards without the destruction part, or the destruction part without the move. I got very annoyed.
Did you know if the location is gamma tag and nico minaru dose bubble you can make the hulk 24

Played this deck and couldn't do the combo once, it bricks a lot. I don't know now if im just unlucky or if the deck is trash

What can I replace with Nimrod (since I dont have him yet)?
I don't have Shuri or Ghost Spider. My deck version had Dr Strange and Killmonger/ Deadpool, Hulkbuster, Death and Knull (minus the Nim & Zola). Definitely didn't put out the power. I wonder if Galactus would work well?
If you do try Galactus, try to Iron Fist then Shuri on turn 5 into an empty lane. That way your Shuri gets booted out and you get to drop a 10 power Galactus.
Imagine playing Regis excited to see the stream only for him to call you a bot lol

Haven't played Marvel Snap in a while, is it impossible to get cards out of collectors reserve now? Do i have to wait for spotlights everytime or something.

Funny, I tried this deck after watching this. Looked fun. Nearly every opponent had their dream combo cards. I really hate the matchmaking in this game. Kills my enthusiasm
The Multiple Man fix coinciding with the America Chavez rework is unfortunate. I understand why they didn't like Chavez being run in decks that had no intent of playing her, but I'd really want to run her prepatch form in a Phoenix Force deck.
In the first match Multiple Man didn't leave a copy when you moved him the first time from the left lane, so you missed out on 30 more power.
Not to mention the 50/50 on the Phoenix Force.

I got to 85 so fast from 60 with this deck. It even can out power shaw decks at times
I had a game where they got an 84 power shaw with Taj-surfer - Odin shenanigans and I still won with a board full of 24 power nimrods (thanks to raft destroyer and pf reviving the same destroyer)
Multiple power descaling by playing ghost spider before moving the PF on the last turns. Always move your multiple man before using ghost spider.
What has changed from before the new patch?
I do like Dr strange in this deck another out for moving Nimrod out of Armour/turn 5 ghost spider/strange after phoniex is busted
I was honestly surprised that the interaction change was listed as a bug fix and not a buff considering that one of phoenix’s strongest synergies is with a card whose entire purpose is to create copies of itself. If this was intended from the start you’d think they would’ve noticed it sooner.
That is why they noted it with the other balance changes rather than the list of bug fixes. It has been noted as a bug since the card released but now that they fixed it they also noted it as a balance change since it's such an impactful fix.
It's only over power if you can actually have pheonix forse copy multiple man I played that same deck for an hour and only did that once i won most games with shuri into nimrod

This is exactly what Phoenix Force should of been on release. Those unintentional glitches with multiple man/sinister london imo killed the card and kind of made it really niche. It went from low B tier to the top of A tier borderline S imo.

As the main guy who plays the deck, I won't lie the deck is in a worse spot with the bug fix as the loss of America Chavez really REALLY REAAAALLY hurts the consistency of the deck. The Shuri Nimrod portion is way better and that's the thing we should focus on. Phoenix Force is just way too inconsistent. Human Torch feels awful as too many Killmongers are running amok with the Surfer decks. Just not a fan of the Phoenix force rn. But hey glad you had a great showing with the deck Regis.
Came to say the same thing. If you draw the exact right cards in the exact right order you can get an easy win. One your opponent should easily see coming and retreat. More often than not I missed a key card and ended up retreating myself. Nimrod was much more reliable than PF. I have to think the deck would be better focusing on him.
Phoenix merges with a random destroyed card? Why did you destroy both Forge and Multiple Man at the beginning of the video then? Wasnt that too risky?

Hi everyone! I miss Nico, how can i replace her?
i cant ever trust phoenix force anymore, everytime i try to play this deck i never get the combos to phoenix a multi man or torch and i seem to get plagued with central park location or yondus everytime i bring it out, i swear im cursed with that card 😭like i literally tried it again after a couple of months and i still get super unlucky.
Can we talk over turn 6 here at 30:32 : he has 2 multiman one left, one middel. He played "spider" right than he draged the left "multi" in the middel and the middel to the left.
After this he played "Venom" left.
Normally i would say you have: 2 "Multi" left "Venom" eat them. You have 2 "Multi" middel and one draged from "spider" to the right. But in this turn was only one "Multi" left and 3 in the middel.
I think it is because of playing spider first and than switch the positions from "multi mans", but why is the "multiman" pulled by "spider", moved from right to the middel and not from right to left?
Because that is where the spider pulled it from. The multiple man copy ends up at the location where the man was most recently, so that is why you have to order your cards so that the multiple man copies before the ghost spider pulls it, if you want to add a copy to the man's original location.

@@ar0x754 Yes, that is the best way to do it. Move effects trigger in the same step as on reveals so you need to order them in the order you want them to happen.

This list is tough to play right now with the amount of Shadow Kings, Killmongers, Cosmos and the Chavez nerf. Fun list but the current meta just dumpsters Phoenix. Shame, cards fun.

I’ll be honest with you, this deck really sucks for me. Everybody I’ve played against does a turn five or six Killmonger and I’ve been playing against mostly destroy decks or Discard

this deck is absolute trash, you depend so much on your draws that you have to retreat like 80% of your games because you drew poorly early turns. If you combo you bust a nut, otherwise... absolutely garbage
