I always liked the apsect of genies in D&D that has them unable to grant the own wishes, only the wishes of others. Usually to so called “inferior” mortal creatures, who somehow enslave or indebt a genie. Having almost omnipotent power whose sole limitation is that you cannot leverage it on your own behalf. I can’t imaging what having such a power would do to one’s psychology, and society. Everyone is a god, but only in specific situations. Everyone is the perfect servant, but too arrogant to be willing to serve.
I've always been weary of including genies in my games, but I may give it another shot. I really like the idea of a genie MLM lol. Eat this magic dirt and you can cure your woes. Fix your problems with arthritis, having to much flexibility, color blindness, seeing to many colors, buy buy buy! and save! As always, love your videos! Your eyeliner game is on point btw.
I love it I think the slavery thing is particularly interesting considering they were bound by goetic magic so someone performing the same task as Solomon finding them by rules of laws they don't understand having an interesting impact on their culture and something that I bring over in my mythology isn't there bound by the rule of three through fairy intervention considering they keep the rhythm of the seasons and serve as referees between the Pantheons
@@ArcaneForge I definitely have to find a group in general it's probably been almost a decade since I last got to play, I'll put myself back out there at some point! For now crpgs have me covered !
I would like to humbly request a fairly simple monster, I suppose, but not one I know a great deal about. The Manticore. I don't believe this one has been covered before, but I'd love to see your take on it. I know almost zero about it's origins, and I think it would be a fascinating study.
Thinking my favorite genie is the earth one I can’t remember how to spell it. Was wanting to make one as a friendly npc for my party anyone want to help ?

I just discovered this channel like a day ago and I already agree! :-D This channel needs more love!
Kinda of topic but this brings back nostalgic memories of Heroes of Might and Magic ^^
I've not actually played but I'm so glad that it brought back good memories!!
Hard to believe we’re getting to genies after all these years! Great stuff as usual
Right??? I can't believe it's taken so long!!!!
I'm just putting together an adventure involving genies so this was really useful and hugely inspiring.
That's such good timing! I so hope the video helps!!!

Your campaign idea of a genie mlm cult sounds so awesome! I'd love to play a game like that
I'm so glad that you like the sound of it! Let me know if you end up using it or if you find a group laying that sort of thing! I want in too! x

Could you do video about Dire animals somwhere in future?
This is one, I would too, like to see.
I would love to cover this! Especially with dire wolves being so different from normal wolves in paleontology!!!
I’m always eager for a Lost World/ Skull Island inspired adventure.
