@@KabutoGatack009 Heya, I believe the unique versions of their cards and their skins are indeed paid only, but other variant cards can usually be found in the points shop which comes from turning excess cards into points and aren’t usually paid stuff. Chips, which are used for avatar accessories, skins and a few other things like playmats and sleeves, are also easily available in the different formats of play in game. There are a bunch of events that usually occur when they do these collabs and as long as you play them enough, you get some other free unique cards, variants with the characters on them/their voice and other rewards related to the event characters! Personally speaking, it wasn’t very hard to start the game, IMO. They have rental decks that are fairly decent in pretty much every type of format you could want, so just playing with those until you have the currency to buy packs was enough for me. You can even use rental decks in ranked! I just did events, ranked and story mode for a long time using them and then copied a rental deck as a base to get me started and crafted every card in it with points. You’ll want to do that if you aren’t sure about what kind of deck you want to build as the rental decks give you a good, basic outline on the civilization and playstyle of the current tier. Though, there are two different ranked formats of play, one where you can only use the current seasons of cards and one where all is available, so I’d recommend building for the current season of ranked because it can be used in both, just to save yourself the trouble of having to use all your currencies to build two different decks. I’m not really an expert or anything so it may be good to try it out yourself first or to seek out some other resources! I only play a few times every other day and accomplish a fair amount so I don’t think it will be too hard to get started! Good luck! 🤗
@@noctisfatehart I see shame its paywalled for collab stuff but thats expected. I dont have access to a pc or mobile and feeling out the cards will be my best bet. I also assume collab will be done fairly soon considering it started on June 28 but I'll still try it out for a bit. Been looking for another digital tcg to play and had exposure to duel masters as a kid.
Was thinking of starting to play cuz I really like Ryza. Are the leaders locked behind paywall and how hard is it to start the game?
