I can't describe how many times I've encountered the most beautiful places and situations with this music. I am hoping more people will be able to "get it". Its all in the music.
never liked the grateful dead until about last year, even told a friend who loves their music that i didn’t get what there is to like about it. but slowly finding tracks that i like over time i got a taste for the music, moved to falling in love with listening to the band play in these long sessions; grew to understand what there is to “get”.
If it wasn't for lsd the dead wouldn't be greatful. Let's thank Albert Hofmann and these talented humans "greatful dead" for this music were indulging in to take the pain away.
I keep forgeting, or it seems like it. Jams from just TWO SHOWS. ! were your feet able to touch the ground when that idea flew into your cranium ? Good heavens almighty ! Ain't they something !
I'll join Jeff here by writing again. If any one wants to know whats so admerial and amazing about the dead, I would want them to listen to this. pretty much says it all. and next theres all kinds of songs you could listen to as well ! thanks man.
There are no words to describe the transcendentalism and ineffable experiences the jams led us to. Sure, there's nothing like a Grateful Dead concert, but I gotta say what a long strange trip it's been.
Allmans Dead best jams ever easy to ur head smooth And easy dead are still my no1 Roosevelt stadium shows sic miss Jerry dead and co still smoke be safe heads usa Yanks no fuckin 1
These jams are like a gateway drug . . . to something entirely strange and magical, a whole new way of seeing the world, a way of transcending all this mundane material nonsense
This is GREAT, thank you to the creators😉🌹🍀🌑

I missed very few shows from 77-79...following the band....once I turned over 350 people in one show ..on me.
All I need is a summer afternoon and this music.

Sir, you must be commended for such trivial travails. Love is real.
7/31/74 was my first show (I was 16). I revisit that show at least once a year.
