When i travel i rake a carry-on and a tote. I also, carry a soft weekend bag that i can stash into my carry-on. When I'm returning I check the carry-on and carry my soft weekend bag with gifts.

I take a few velco rollers myself.
I always take a small crossbody coach bag when traveling. Carry phone 2 c.c , cash & lipstick.
I always take vitamins and ibuprofen
I have audio books from the library
