Some biomes have multiple parts or names so it’s hard to say exactly. I know there are three bosses in the first biome. I’m still working on the second half of the game so I can’t give you a straight answer. Hoping to fish up in the next day or two
Hey man I love Metroidvanias, the cartoony graphics, level design and gameplay. Plus like everyone I'm waiting for Silksong to surprise drop. I'm on the fence of should I just buy Biogun? How many biomes are there?
There are 6 major biomes to explore but they are pretty different even each biome. I think its been a great game and would suggest picking it up. Been one of the better metroidvanias in a long time.
Try our new demo to see if you like the performance. I recommend at least picking the 3rd level option. That area is the heaviest in terms of performance.
I've only had a short time to play this so far and it looks great. It's good they've included a couple of controller layout options, which can be further customised. Going by how the game starts at least, it looked like it was copying HK but, seeing your video it doesn't seem so later in the game. Probably just a nod to the king. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this now!
I’m very much looking forward to Crowsworn. Have you been following the Kickstarter updates? I’d be surprised if it does t come out until late 2025 or early 2026
@@RelyeaGaming I have and I’d assume 2025 just based on the amount of money Mongoose received. It gave flexibility that they needed to add a lot of content everyone will 100% enjoy
@@RelyeaGaming indeed. I did like the biogun demo. It was really the slight freezes and stuttering of the game I didn't like, especially when racing the sperm. I can't have the game freezing on me when I'm running and jumping everywhere. I did talk with the dev on the Steam discussion and he told me to try playing on windowed mode until they change over the coding to something else. A lot of the bosses are pretty fun, but I didn't like the main boss in the cervix at the very right. The floaty boi. I don't feel like he had enough variety to him, especially for being such an important boss for an important item. He definitely could have been fleshed out better. Now let's take a look at one of the optional bosses, the bouncy boi. I didn't have any problem with him only having 1 move because that boss was a non important optional boss, and the continual move set worked extremely well in that fight. There's definitely a lot of good about BioGun, for sure, but I think I'm gonna wait for it to get a little more ironed out.
Can confirm that boss won’t be changing since it’s still acts as the first challenge of the game for players. Many people struggle with it even if it’s basic by nature. The bosses later on ramp up creating a natural difficulty curve.

We're first time devs and didn't know much about coding before starting Biogun. Construct is a really approachable and artist friendly choice so it originally made sense to use it.. We just didn't expect it to bite us in the but sooo hard.
@@dapperdogdigital6902 that’s really fair, a big focus in the programming world is how JavaScript is so under-performant compared to almost every other big language out there, yet it still is arguably THE language to learn when getting into web development since it’s the standard way to make websites functional in the browser, haha I had just never heard of any game devs using it for games. I knew they were out there I just thought they were a myth hahah But now you’ve got me interested in Construct cuz I’ve never heard of it haha
Ender Magnolia deserves the shade. They shouldn't be charging $20 for what is essentially a demo. Biogun's demo was pretty long. I remember quitting about 100 minutes into it because I didn't want to repeat everything when the game came out.

I feel like my game is bugged. 1:49:28 The needles don't open correctly making it impossible to make it through in time before the switch goes off
you need the Viral Rifle to get through that section. Those gates are closing to make sure you know you can't get past without something else.

This game looks very cool, almost like ori too.
it's a great game except that when using gamepad, the aiming angle/precision is very limited esp when aiming diagonally. i hope they can fix that.
What game pad do you use? Using an Xbox controller works great with aiming
