Police called to Columbia University, UCLA as war protests escalate

- Tensions remain high across numerous college campuses in the US over protests concerning the Israel-Hamas war. A dramatic late-night police raid at New York's Columbia University cleared the campus of protesters.
Officers equipped in riot gear swarmed Hamilton Hall, a key academic building that had been occupied and barricaded by protesters, and made dozens of arrests.
Meanwhile, on UCLA's campus, police were called in after pro-Palestinian protesters and counter-protesters clashed. Scripps News' National Correspondent Tomas Hoppough has more.

Interesting seeing these guys on the UCLA campus wielding these large canisters of pepper spray. I wonder if were they charged under Penal Code Title 2: Control of Deadly Weapons Chapter 4: Tear Gas Weapons Article 1: General Provisions? Anything over 2.5 ounces is illegal. Possession is a misdemeanor, use in a situation like this is a felony. This is a weapons violation when used against law enforcement in California, a felony conviction should be appropriate.
Outrageous these kids can get away with this BS!

All college campuses need to have rules on protest. No more than 48 hours in just a certain area to keep from buildings being destroyed. Police offices on patrol at the campus to ensure no harassment’s of anyone nor buildings destroyed. No tents set up on college property. Set the rules College Administrators and have officers there in the future to enforce it. This should be World Wide!!!!
