If you are looking for parts for chain conversion for standard rear wheel Free Spirits did a Buell XB chain conversion kit before and I used some parts from their kit for my conversion but I do not see the kit on their website anymore. The most important part of the chain conversion is the Chain Idler and maybe Free Spirits Chain Idler can be found on eBay. The sprockets can be ordered from different places. If you can make front sprocket drawing or CAD model these guys can fabricate custom front sprocket for you www.superiorsprockets.com (they did front sprocket with offset for 240 wheel for me), maybe you can find a Harley Davidson Sportster front sprockets for 520 chain (Free Spirits Chain Idler is for 520 chain) can fit Buell XB, but check offset and amount of teeth you need. Rear sprocket is the easiest part, for instance Vortex makes rear sprockets for Buell XB www.vortexracing.com/product-category/rear-sprockets/ and you can buy those everywhere (Amazon, eBay, etc.), or for instance it can be custom made here rebelgears.com, again figure out the sizes you need. Chain can be bought everywhere (Amazon, eBay, etc.), just figure out the length and width of the chain you need and tools to trim and to install the chain. I own the 2005 model year of Buell xb12s. I want to change the actuator to a chain. I wonder if buying a transmission sprocket drive kit for the sportster can drive on a chain like your motorcycle.
I am not familiar with sportster sprocket drive kit, so I do not know if it will work. One of the important part of the chain conversion is chain tensioner and I'm sure the sportster sprocket drive kit does not have chain tensioner. The only plug and play chain conversion kit designed specifically for Buell XB I know is Free Spirits Buell XB chain conversion kit and this is the one I used as the base for my modification.
wow thats a nice looking Buell. Thinking about buying a XB12S and mod it abit not as extreme as you but a LSL headlight and clipons and a seatriser will do a lot on the looks. If i change to a R triple clamp do i need to change the instrument cluster aswell?

Really!? Oh it's great job👌my 3d-printer is not so powerfull. I like the look, so short and clean ... resembles the original. Many others are too extreme or the shapes do not match the Xb (ProjektX / Hellbander)
I've got a pristine 2019 MV Agusta "Brutale" 800 RC (#097 of only 350 ever built) with Clean Texas Title that I would trade you dead-even for that bike.
I did not calculate it and did not capture the prices carefully. If I remember correct the most expensive pars are the 3D printed seat (maybe around $1500) and the CNC machined sub-frame parts (maybe $1000). Another miscellaneous parts are maybe $1000-2000. But the most expensive portion of the project is the time I spent on it (If I would do this for living it would be my full time work for maybe 6-9 months and $40000-60000 of labor). Basically it is cheaper to do your regular work overtime and buy any factory produced motorcycle you like the most on the money you earned working overtime.

The rear wheel needs widening (machining to trim and welding new flanges), rear sprocket spacer, custom front sprocket, custom chain tensioner and chain.
I still live in Seattle. I'm pretty busy so I'm not sure I can provide active guidance. You can create your threat on badweatherbikers.com forum in "XBoard" about your build and get help there. I visit this forum sometimes too and I can answer your questions there too. The forum is the best way to keep your project tracking and documenting so you can get help the most efficient way. You have to decide how deep you wish to customize your motorcycle because of it is not only time consuming, but also requires a lot of money to be put into the project. Sometimes It is just cheaper to buy a high end motorcycle you like in it's stock form. For instance if I would totally destroyed my Buell I would not buy a new one to customize it again, even I already knew how it should be done, I would just buy something different and would not customize it at all. Usually when people ask help to customize their motorcycle/car they do not have skills, tools, knowledge, time and enough passion to do this work at all and this is pretty big issue too besides the fact it can be unsafe. Buells are also quite quirky motorcycles and customizing them may turn the project to a nightmare if you are not mechanically inclined or if you do not know how to troubleshoot it. Even I do not know completely how to fix some Buell issues other way than just replacing a bunch of parts hoping it will fix the problem, I already fixed some Buell issues this way and it is not the cheap way to get it works properly.
Funny how the swingarm is set so wide that you can stuff a 240 without modification. All you need is a chain and sprocket set with a sproket tensioner, and a wider rim. But how does it handle with that 240 rear, is it as bad as they claim it is?
The subframe is CNC machined aluminum and stainless steel parts structure. You can not see the subframe on this video, the subframe is inside the seat (seat slides over the subframe). There are some 3D printed components attached to the subframe but those are not structural parts of the subframe. The seat is 3D printed part.

I also designed rear sprocket spacer, parts for tensioner modification and sprockets and ordered parts in different machine shops. The 3D printed seat is not the difficult part. You have to CNC machine the new seat subframe parts, you have to 3D print not only the seat but also new electric components housing located inside the airbox and assemble it, and you have to completely rebuild the wiring harness. If you can do this work by yourself you can read my thread carefully (see the link in the description), I shared the process details and the CAD models, so you can contact the companies who can do those parts for you (I posted all the links of those companies in my thread) and start the work.

The 3D printed seat material is nylon. The 3D printer is HP MJF. The seat has CNC machined aluminum subframe. 240 wheel handles OK, no issues at all.

This motorcycle is not tall for 5 6 person (Buell XB Scg version). Scg version has lover suspension and it fits good for 5 6 person.
