The PRO XP finally gets some heat! Time to fight back against winter!

Maybe I'm just getting soft, but the winters in upstate NY are too long and cold for riding. Not any more! Let's get heat in this unit so we can ride no matter the temperature out there!
Today I am installing tge Polaris heater into this 2020 Polaris RZR PRO XP. The process is the same for any year PRO XP, including the 4 seater and the Turbo R.
I know a lot of people go with the inferno brand heaters, but that model goes under the glove box, and I need to leave that space available for an upcoming project.

I had considered getting the heater for my XP but had no idea it was that involved.

Man, it was a pain. Not sure if the inferno heater is simpler. That one goes up in the dash instead of under the console, but you still have to remove the console for the coolant lines. Who knows. Hard to do, but in the end, I'm glad I did it! Did a few rides with temps getting below 20F and it was nice and warm inside the machine!

Exactly. Used it for 3 rides, and now it's in the garage with the transmission out, so I might be done with cold weather for the year. Oh well. We'll get it next year! 🤣 Thanks for watching!

It already has AC - just vent the windshield and roll the windows down! haha These machines do get quite warm in the summer. We'll see how it does with everything on it, but I'll likely remove the upper doors and might go back to the half windshield for the summer months to keep cooler. Time will tell! Thanks for watching!
