Last year Brez was actually extremely ill, he was plugged to external devices for medical assistance. He got better in time for GBB, but then changed his settings before his battle against AVH and it messed up his mix. He admitted it was a mistake

i truly miss the elimination format
same, from a spectator POV at least. I can imagine it would really suck to qualify, take time off work or life, fly out to location for at least a few days, finally get to the stage, and then before you even get to battle anyone you get eliminated 💀💀💀

@@Guswsb52Reading that, it tells me you have a style preference which makes or breaks it for you. The judges all said it was really really close and it was pulling at the finest hairs to make differences in rankings for the top 20. Honestly as much as there are other wildcards I'd personally rank higher, I say respect to everyone for their performance and a congratulations to those in.

Since the quality becomes more and more uniform can you expand the number of participants from 8 to 16 next year? Or maybe 12 with 1st round as showcase? We truly want to see more loopers perform in GBB
gbb21 had round of 16 battles, but they went back to quarter finals at gbb23 and tbh i think its a good decision because preparing 8 3+ minutes rounds is very hard for the loopers and it showed in the quality of the rounds imo
@@crazepaze4919 in gbb21 they had eliminations for looping, then top 8 was selected, i dont think there was round of 16 battles

@@ecciq they literally had 3 days for battles that too 2 new categories were introduced last year. also showcases are also needed for fans otherwise it will be boring for crowd too, but i kinda agree with you loop should also have elimination rounds just like solo.

All the loopers in top 6 put in great work. I, like many others don’t completely agree, but they are all great artists. Big congratulations to all who made it.
To give praise to someone not mentioned much and add positivity to the thread, I was thrilled to see Rudi score so high. I found it one of my most played wild cards, personally, and in musicality it beat almost all the top 12, IMHO. Keep it up.

Loop is where it’s at! You want to go to move your body, look no further. I’m 50, and the only track that had me moving was LENNARD!!! I’m acting like I was 20 again, it’s amazing what can be done. Can’t wait for the rest, much love!!

The fact that Lennard is behind Cardona means he's never winning GBB because they want a different product, nothing you can do about that, is really just sad.
one is generic and the other one is fresh and unique. the genre doesnt matter at the end of the day as long as the actual MUSIC is good and stands out

I know there is more to it, but except for Syjo and Brez the most stuff is just good and I heard better wildcards.
It's just my opinion, you can agree or disagree.
But congrats to all who made it in and good luck. Maybe I'm convinced in the battles, who knows.

I'm going to be absolutely honest I think I speak for most of people when I say that no one expected josh o to be in, let alone 2nd place I can name of the top of my head in my opinion like 10+ people I would've put instead of him no offense...
I agree. Idk what it is with Josh O but bro knows how to cheat the system when it comes to wildcards. His mix is usually pretty dogshit like past years wildcards, and KBB he had bad mixing. Lennard and Banon deserved in over Josh O
I could see why people might not like josh o’s style but if you watch judge reactions you’ll realize why he always gets in. Unique Melodie’s that are complex to pull off and smooth flowing tracks. I agree this track is one of his weakest but judges are professionals and I trust their judgement.
@@matthlew yeah but it's the criteria man, like I don't think josh O did anything new this wildcard he hasn't done before so...ion know it's all just weird but I respect the judges desicion obviously but come on now even if I respect him getting in, second place? Really?
@@israelmiranda8397 I do agree that second place is WILD, maybe 6th-5th id say. I do agree he didnt do much new so i think using the criteria a lower placement is valid. But his style just checks most of the boxes and he pulls it off so well each time. I can agree with you though on the second place thing. Kinda crazy
