NESCAFÉ Gold Puro Colombia is a light, medium roast coffee that comes from a single country of origin. A refreshingly acidic and full-bodied coffee blend from Colombian beans grown near the Andes at an altitude of up to 2,000 meters. The harsh conditions of the mountains and the changes of hot day and cool night ripen the beans slowly, giving them a unique character.
Nescafé is a brand of coffee made by Nestlé. It comes in many different forms. The name is a portmanteau of the words "Nestlé" and "café". Nestlé first introduced their flagship coffee brand in Switzerland on 1 April 1938.
Coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, the seeds of berries from certain Coffea species. When coffee berries turn from green to bright red in color - indicating ripeness - they are picked, processed, and dried. Dried coffee seeds (referred to as "beans") are roasted to varying degrees, depending on the desired flavor. Roasted beans are ground and then brewed with near-boiling water to produce the beverage known as coffee.
