So they never checked the dumpster? I would have thought that was the first place to look outside of the building?

The garbage truck already emptied it and took it to the landfill. They had many searchers at the landfill searching for it.

Looks like to me from the location of the blood behind chair is where Kim strangled Jolene using her weight to keep Jolene from being able to move or twist out of chair. She fought with her arms and scratched Kim losing a nail in the process. When Kim cleaned up using that blue tub the finger nail was left behind in tub. Such a horrible crime but it appears to me Kim used the chair to lessen the struggle. I wonder how much of that blood was Kims. ? Just imagine being strangled in that chair. There would be no way Jolene could have broke free from it. I don't believe this was her first victim either and that it was premeditated . If anyone has ever broke a nail off it bleed like crazy. That explains why there was so little blood in that one area and why it was found on Kim's boots. She was standing behind the chair. Also those injuries inside of Kim's hands. Could those be burns from the cord she used ? She was handing on to that cord with all her weight and strength and Jolene's arms would have been the only thing she had to fight with which would explain the scratch on Kim's face. The reason it looks like more blood was because when Kim wiped blood drops up from Jolene's finger, she smeared it. That blood area was wiped up and everywhere she wiped only smeared it. That's why there wasn't any squirts of blood outside of that area.

Could she had fed her parts to a animal? Or placed into the sewer ? In the vents?

Once a body has made it to a garbage dump it’s as good as gone usually. I haven’t heard of a single case where a body got to the dump that investigators recovered it. It probably has happened, but it’s rare.

@@platedlizard Recently a couple passed out in a dumpster and were found in two different states in landfills. If they are disposed of properly they would never be found though. I couldn't imagine trying to search a landfill for evidence!

I was a cop. Don't do it. 99 out of 100 are caught so just don't do that... That 100th one? Takes a little longer but with all tools at the disposal now it will just mean a bit longer. And ALWAYS looking over your shoulder..

Unfortunately, the sentences for these convicts is much too lenient, case in point lynlee renick, which tells them it's ok to do it, because they will be out of prison very soon.

      Ah yea typical cop….you LIE.
Only 58% of MURDERS ARE SOLVED o smart one so you tell me how you claiming it’s 99% are solved ….:
      WHY YOU LYING?!?
Even LESS are solved now then 40yrs ago…..I dare you LOOK IT UP.
Freakin sure you were a cop. A cop would KNOW THE SOLVE RATE.

The defense are idiots. Purchase of said items suggest premeditated murder. The carving knife, if presented in the case, would also have DNA samples on it. It should be one of the biggest pieces of evidence; definitely not evidence to throw out. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Why didn't she have court ordered meds. Ugh

    • @platedlizard

Because she’s not actually insane. She did google searches before even murdering Joleen about the consequences of throwing feces at jailers. She actually researched what people who were ruled innocent by insanity acted like. No medication can fix that because it’s the result of well thought out action

I think that she was paranoid but still fully in charge of her wits. She chose murder when she could have just as easily disappeared from that job & gotten a different one under a different name. She’d done that a couple dozen times before so it wasn’t like she couldn’t have done it again

Wasn’t Kessler the last name of Chris Watts’, girlfriend? Maybe that name is cursed.
