Am I the only one that anxiously await Tuesdays 🤔??
I am literally renovating my home from these videos. Thank you 💝!!
Latrise R. Holloway Same here!
Me too!!😁🙋🏻♀️
So happy to hear that my tips are helping you Latrise! Please let me know what videos you want to see next! 🙏🏻
@@JulieKhuu I would love to see more on Feng Shui (you should hear me through my house yelling "put the toilet seat down!!!")🤣🤣🤣and creating curb appeal (types of greenery, etc.).
When you do a contractor renovation, please include how not to get ripped off: how to ensure the work done meets your standards and stuff is not crooked, scratched, or missed spots of caulking; how to check the pricing so no surprises at the end with add on; how to find a trustworthy contractor because reviews online are misleading. Basically how to talk to and work with contractors to ensure we receive what we pay for versus arrogant rip offs. I'm sure your experience as a pro is quite different than a single parent woman without connections to the trade.
This is SO good, I’m writing it down and will do a complete video to tackle these issues Darlene! Love it and thank you for the feedback!! 🙏🏻
Omg,you have summed up everything I'm going through right now.So up set that I'm considering just putting up with a ripped up house.we watch all these shows that the homes come up magnificent but I real life we woman get treated like silly morons .pay and get crap in return and then the blame game starts..tge tiler says it's the builder, builder says it's the carpenter, carpenter says I have crooked walls and in and on and on.I wish an angel comes and saves me .cant cope with much more deceit and passing the buck when it's my buck flying out the door with no result and just more damage.wish I could hire you Julie.
I just googled construction terms for the work I needed done. I had my brother pretend to be in construction and the work was done amazing 😂 I know it's cheating but it worked.
@@ohmygosh4761 Brilliant!
I'm living the nightmare now. Single woman who tries to vet contractors but I keep getting burned. Shoddy work and keep wanting more money 😨
Oh my - where have you been all my decorating life? This video was loaded with oodles of excellent ideas. Paced right, minimal chit-chat, great photos and lovely design sense. Julie is now my “go to” source for inspiration. Thank you so much!
Aw thank you so much for watching and the support Kim! 🙏🏻☺️
And the photo shown long enough to take in.
I just purchased my first home, it’s a fixer upper! Don’t have the budget to hire a designer, these videos have been extremely informative to me. Thanks a million 💕
Awesome Nadia 🙌🏻 This was my intent for the channel, I’m so glad it’s helpful! Please let me know if you have any other ideas for future design videos!

When you do your bathroom renovation, put outlets for blow dryer, electric toothbrush, and water pic in a large drawer or cabinet. Then you don’t have to unplug and hide them when the housekeeper or guests enter that room.
Excellent tip Cindy, thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
I did this years ago----worked out GREAT!
Keeping a plugged electric appliance is not such a good idea. I have a drawer which i just put theappliances after i finish using them
We did this in our bathroom and love it! We used a roll-down kitchen appliance barn. We leave it up for everyday use, but when guests are around, we can close it for a cleaner look.
They’re called gfci’s
Thank god that I came across on this video a month ago and last week we started to build our rest house and I designed the bathroom with different finish and design of gray tiles with wood cabinets and gold accents.. Thank you so much
That’s awesome Lennox 🙌🏻
I love your 'Mistakes' series Julie! You are always spot on. I might want to add another suggestion for the vanity lighting. I personally, have to have it done certain way. No over the mirror wall sconces, they HAVE to be on both sides of the mirror, or if you are dealing with one huge mirror, then have the pendants hanging from the ceiling right in front of the mirror, on either side of the sink(s). This is so much more intimate and flattering when looking at yourself in the mirror.
Love your tips Margaret! Thank you for watching and the feedback, much appreciated 🙏🏻☺️
Painted my 25 year old bathroom white (BM Cotton Balls). Beautiful! Then the light fixture looked bad, replaced ugly brass bulb monster with sleek modern silver. Replaced vanity knobs. Looks great! Called the contractor to replace disgusting shower stall. You are so right- my contractor is NOT a designer! I’m not making another move until I think this through the rest of the way. After watching this video, I think I can pull it off. Thanks Julie!
Yes, you can do it Mary 🙌🏻 I’ve had so many contractor nightmares even WITH me detailing the design, so always double check the work every day!
I love all your suggestions and idea photos too !!! I love DIY projects. I’ve done so many in the last house. A master bath Reno gave me a 6 month headache. The contractor had a guy that did not know how to tile. He was slow as molasses & took a smoke break every 15 minutes while sitting on a 5 gal bucket in my driveway. It turned out so bad that we fired that contractor and just found another tile guy thru a friend. He had years of experience & it turned out beautiful. That was a big project and quite an experience! Lol.
Contractor nightmares are so common, even at this juncture in my career. When you find one that fits, by all means use them for everything!!
I love watching your videos. Thank you so much for ending with acknowledgements to viewers that what they like is what they should strive for. You are such a delight to listen to.
Aw thank you for watching Cathy! 🙏🏻💕
So happy for Julie to point out all of the things I never would have known to think of!
Thank you for watching E! 🙏🏻☺️
This was a hard lesson learned for me when working with natural stone: The sealer you use can completely change the color of the stone. Our bathroom was almost all done, and the colors looked amazing together - soft varied slate tones with a pale creamy yellow wall. Then the contractor used an "enriching" sealer on the slate, and the colors in the stone turned much deeper and warmer. We had to repaint the entire room because the paint completely clashed with the sealed tiles. It looks beautiful now with copper-colored paint on the walls. But it was not the serene look we were going for.
Oh no! They should have spot tested for approval, but what’s done is done. Working through issues is par for the course in construction. Glad you were able to work it out 👍🏻
I am about to start the reno and redesign of my first home. I am 6 minutes in and have decided to restart the video and start taking notes. It's such great info!
Thank you so much for watching Tia! Let me know if you have any questions down the line! ☺️
Oh Julie I’m so glad I saw this video!!! I now see how many mistakes I made with my first bathroom remodel. Now due to a leak in the master bathroom we can finally redo it!!! I’m gonna binge al your vids!!! I wish I could go back fix those edges on my 1st!!!
Awesome, you’ll get it perfect the next time around 🙌🏻
I discovered your channel about a month ago... and I cannot get enough of it! Being an interior and furniture design enthusiast, you have helped me understand the finer details much better.. THANKS!!!
Thank you for watching Topsyn 🙏🏻☺️
Go away from your home for a couple of weeks, observe the bathrooms, rooms you are using during those weeks and compare with how yours are right now. It’s the best way to get your mind re-seeing, rethinking what you have back home. I have been visiting my daughter and I can see many of the opportunities to improve my living space. Now to carefully think it all through before starting. So thanks to this video
I love that tip. Which is why I clue into hotel suites and luxury rentals, I love all the design inspiration out there 💗
Your channel has adopted from High End to accommodate the mass of DIY
Good luck.
High end designer looks with affordable DIY solutions 😅 I need all the help I can get! Lol 😂
This video and someone else’s ten common mistakes video were recommended by UA-cam. Wow. Night and day difference. Thanks for a great helpful video.
Thank you for watching Mark! I appreciate the feedback 🙏🏻
Glad to hear about the slab tile. I’ll have to let our contractor about it. Thanks.
This was really helpful. we're currently renovating and getting a little stuck on some of the decisions. all the choices can be overwhelming. Thanks for guiding us in the right direction!
Awesome, hope it helps!
Love the great tips and equally your honesty. Good luck with the DIY project. I would love to see methods of waterproof tanking, planning the plumbing and electrics / lighting, achieving a flat wall finish with tiles, installing and sealing around sanitaryware / baths / showers.
Thank you for watching Tony! Love your ideas, I’ll include that in the next bathroom video for remodeling! 🙌🏻
The best interior designer ever Thank you for all the tips.
Thank you for watching Ardella 🙏🏻☺️
Oh my goodness! Looking forward to the DIY bathroom project! Also appreciate the idea of putting vanity lights in front of mirror...Guest room has a full bath with zero natural light. You are awesome! 😁 I would also like to add that picking materials first is a great idea and wish I had known that sooner. So excited for granite countertops that they are installed in my kitchen and three baths. Perfect in two of the four spaces so now I have to “ design around” the other two. I wanted each space to have its own look but now I fear everything will have look the same or very similar.
I’m a fan of every room having its own personality. That’s why I reiterate again, your contractor is not always a designer. They will push you to make quick decisions.
I love examples but love it even more when you show visuals. The subway you referenced .
Thank you for watching and the feedback Ramona 🙏🏻☺️
We see so many diy bathroom remodels..would have been nice to see a designer go all out and your take on it
I have another one we can go all out in 👍🏻
You always give us advice from your experiences, I love that.
We have this hideous yellow tile in the shower/tub that shows even passed the shower curtain. I hate it! Would love to do slabs, so sleek and easy to clean, tile is a pain. I'd love to see what you do with yours for ideas when we tackle our barhroom.
Slabs are so gorgeous and easy to clean! I have that same hideous tile issue, gotta work my magic for this makeover 😅 Thank you for watching Wanda!
I believe you can paint over tiles, try and look it up online
Very inspirational video with many great ideas. We just purchased a home with a circa 1970 beige 4x4 in tile bathroom. There is nothing I can do, other than keeping it very clean, to make it better except get the sledge hammer! They repainted the vanity black and did some sort of finish on the countertop that is black and fading in spots. Gold and white plastic mirrors over the beige, rusty sinks and a medicine cabinet off to the side that looks like the door to a saloon! It's a horror show.
I’m DIY renovating a horror show myself soon Penny! 🙈lol Hope you can get some good budget friendly ideas! Stay tuned ☺️
Love this video. This what has me stuck right now! It started with a glass shower door breaking to wanting to rip down some wall and remove the bathtub, etc. I am STUCK on colors and materials to use. I want to keep it earthy tones like my living room, but you are right, sooo many choices.
As a contractor who has previous experience in colors (aluminum and plastics industries), I totally agree that looking at materials in the light of the surroundings is critical to making a good choice. But one thing few people realize is the majority of people cannot accurately discriminate a single color when multiple others are in close proximity. As in, multiple paint samples next to each other on a small wall space. With color perception, the brain "sees" peripheral vision, and that influences judgement. So even when you think your eye is focused on a single color among others, the brain influences perception by combining the others, along with the lighting, and the orientation (horizontal vs. vertical surface and "sheen"). Color industry standards say a color should be evaluated against a uniform background of Munsell N8 Neutral Gray under daylight illuminance (6500 degrees Kelvin). You don't need to get that technical. But you shouldn't bias your decisions with a lot of peripheral vision "distractions" that won't be part of the final product. As to bullnose, people who source their own tile should have their fist question be, "Is bullnose available for this?" Also, no tile contractor is going to have an effective solution for covering the raw edge of tile - short of butting tile molding, wood molding, or metal against it. Sometimes a pencil edge tile can be used in place of bullnose, but it generally looks funky. Finally, color temperature of the lighting you use in the space should be geared to the color palette you choose (i.e, don't use warm light of ~3000K with grays or blues, and vice versa), and definitely use layered lighting to the extent you can. Not simply can lights in the ceiling. LED with dimmers is the only way to go.
So technical! You’re my kind of contractor! 🙌🏻
Wow! That’s the kind of detail I like to see! Discerning colors takes practice. Only after months of pouring over BM Fanbooks which I purchased for about $30 each & painting my own sample boards from broken down drawers out of the gutted kitchen was I able to discern undertones & other subtle differences from one color to another. I just learned from this comment that cool lighting is better than warm for blue. Thanks very much. Jane
😊
I am officially overwhelmed. Definitely have to go back to the drawing board. A lot of my ideas were listed as mistake! Thank goodness this video came out before starting our project
Sometimes finding a beautiful stone or tile can be the inspiration you need Felesha! Don’t try to get it all together at once, go with your gut!
Julie . I can’t thank you enough for posting this video. I was just about to begin a bathroom remodel in my mid century, modern fixer-upper. I used to be a professional fine artist and became a realtor. I feel like I have a fair amount of design experience however, there were definitely things I would have overlooked if I had not seen your video first. I implemented your idea about doing a long, horizontal shower niche, which turned out to be a showstopper. I also didn’t know anything about the Schluter strips and that would have been a costly mistake. I wish I could add a picture of the before and after, but your video really helped me to create the perfect Zen oasis in our small space. Thank you so much.!!
That’s so awesome Amy!! Send me pix on IG! I’d love to see it 👍☺️
This is the first video of yours that I've seen but I have to say I really enjoy your attitude. I appreciate that you say to go with what you love but still give great advice and provide things to consider. Really enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for watching and your feedback Brad! Hope you’ll stop by to check out some other vids for helpful tips 🙏🏻☺️
Julie, I just love your channel. You always have the best advice . You just saved a big design detail in my granddaughters new bathroom from going bad!!! Thank you.

As always, you give useful and practical advice that the average person can understand and follow through. Thanks
Great design is available to everyone, no matter budget or style 🙏🏻 Thank you for watching!
Thoroughly enjoy your channel! Looking forward to your diy bathroom videos. My hubby and I are currently doing our master bath and stumbled on another option to edge detail ceramic tile. While searching to source a matching bullnose not available at big box store, the tile manufacturer images showed mitered edges on the outside corners. we gave it a go and found our wet saw even had the 45° block to make the cuts! Turned out spectacular as I had hoped to avoid the outlined look of the schluters. Thank you for all your inspiring content.
I’m not a huge fan of schluter strips myself, but when you’re dealing with cheaply made tile sometimes, the mitered cuts chip off the finish. So glad it worked out for you though Erica 🙌🏻 DIY bathroom renovation is finally live tomorrow! Hope you’ll tune in 🙏🏻☺️
I love your style and energy, along with your educational tips! Do you do any work in Northern California?
Thank you Joanna! I offer E-design services if you’re interested. You may contact me at the email in description box for business inquiries ☺️
I just redid my bathroom. And thanks god, I don't think I made any of those mistakes that you've mentioned yet. Whew
Awesome 👏🏻
Where have you been my whole life? You reinforce all of my ideas which were only gut reactions. I love your accessible ideas!😘😘💙💜💙💜💙💜
Always go with your gut H! You know what’s best for your home 🙌🏻
Thank you for this video and all the other ones. I very much look forward to them especially the DIY. Can't wait to see how it turns out.🚽🚿🛁🧼🧻
Oman 😅 Me and you both! Thanks for watching Claude!
Thank you! I love these tips! I am really excited about my small powder room with a tiny shower DIY!! I have been really trying to get as much information about this process as possible! LOL 😂
This was so helpful thank you! I look forward to all your videos new subscriber!!
No one regrets the time spent on planning Ellen! But lots of people regret not doing the research 🙌🏻😉
I would love to see a your tile installation, removable and or painting tile.
Painting tile is in the plan 😅
AMATEUR DECORATING LIKE A PRO yes, please show us how to deal w existing bathroom we can’t stand, on a budget. Thanks.
Thank you for the information. I just recently purchased a home. I am completely remodeling it. I have a tile ready walk in shower basin and niche being delivered in a couple days. I can't wait get it installed. I just need to figure out the tiles to use and color. Perhaps you can recommend some types or colors to make it look modern and attractive
Hi I’d like something to see re the kitchen backsplash. I’m not a prof but wonder if some kind of caulking or some rough material to make the backsplash and then put something on it to shine? Is that crazy?? Let me no🤷🏼♀️The kitchen will be white. Thank you for ur help.
Amazing artwork and gorgeous frames are how I like to decorate our baths. Custom frames for bathroom mirrors are also a must. Great video!
Yes, those custom frames make all the difference in the world! 🙌🏻
Thank you for the quick response and the advise! I just spoke with my contractor and advised him of the changes.
I have been binging your channel. I love how you go into such detail. I also love all of the visuals. Your channel is really helping me get my home in shape ! You have the best design channel on UA-cam !
Thank you so much for your support Ev! 🙏🏻
I must admit that I was a bit intimidated by the title of this video being that I’d just completed my bathroom renovation, but thank you for briefing on the whole bathroom decor.
Now I’m curious if you can touch on the subject of all things “laundry”, like laundry room decors, hacks, and such. Also, for those with limited space, small homes, or live in an apartment, where or how would you “hide” your dirty laundry, because it can become an eyesore.
THED you can find all that information on Pinterest, we’re in the middle of renovations and I got most of my inspiration for Hampton style remodelling off of Pinterest, just type in what your looking for and it will come up with so much information and designs. Hope this Helps You. I also was a bit intimidated by the title because we’re doing our en-suite now. Best Wishes from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
-Nellie -m Thank you. And yes, I have searched it up on Pinterest prior to leaving a comment here. I just personally wanted to see & hear Julie’s take on this subject, not to mention I didn’t want to simply limit myself to just Pinterest. After all, she may have something completely different to offer.
I have a teeny tiny laundry space myself that is hidden behind curtain panels right in the middle of my dining room 🙈 The only way I can “hide” it is with pretty drapery. I also have a nice hamper with a lid in the bathroom for every day use. I do love the idea of a future video to pretty up utilitarian rooms like the laundry, thanks for the idea Thed!
Julie Khuu I’d love to see a video on doing up the laundry room and making the best space work out of a small laundry room ❤️❤️
Don’t let your designer extend wooden floors into a laundry room! It’s too damp for wood!!!
I have only just found your fabulous site & had to laugh when you touched on shower niches. I had 4 builders & my husband all giving their input about where to put 1,2 , 3 or 4! I argued & won. We just had 1 & I’m glad to say I instinctively put it where you advised, which also enabled us to utilise the space below to create a shallow cupboard accessed from the other side. Both were created from a door entry. I have my niche in the shower & a shallow cupboard. Neither were planned because we thought the entry would be boarded up so it was a double bonus.
You also mentioned using the same tile but changing the direction. We did this & it works beautifully. It’s so subtle.
You know best Dana! 🙌🏻 Don’t let anyone talk you into something your gut knows is not right.
Thank you so much, I will take several of your tips for my new bathroom remodel.
Awesome Debi! Hope they work out for you! 🙌🏻
Also instead of a Schluter strip a good contractor can cut and install tile at 45 degree angle. It looks much better than Schluter strips :)
Yes this method works to butt two tiles together, but for exposed edges you need a bullnose for a cleaner look (without Schluter). Thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated 🙏🏻

thank you, I love your videos. I was waiting for you to say something about shower doors. I have always had problems with keeping mine nice and clean, I wondered what the easiest to care for were?
I have hard water in my city and those shower doors are a nuisance to keep clean. I scrub them down with a vinegar/ baking soda paste (left on for 20 minutes) and wipe down with a dishwashing sponge every couple weeks.
Make sure that everyone and I mean everyone, every time uses a squeegee on the glass. My shower was 20 years old,and no stains on the glass. It takes a minute to do and saves hours of work.
I use shampoo to clean the glass, even with my car side mirrors and the front glass. Water will drip down your glass leaving no trails
Excellent ideas - thank you - just love the Carrera-type marbles and the giant slabs (less grout). Thanks, Julie.
Slabs all the way 🙌🏻☺️
Thanks for sharing these great design tips with us!
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻☺️
Realizing how i have zero style. The video shows a photo and in my head I'm like "looks all right!" and then Julie throws a big X across it. lol...
Lol Grace, just my experience with the design elements I see with longevity over time. Do what you love, you’ll always get it right 👍🏻☺️
Would love to see some faux stone panels used! Maybe a stone wall ?
Yes, they look just like marble from a distance 😍
Dear Julie, amazing inspiration, again 💚 My freshly remodelled (but rented) apt's bathroom is super modern, but also very sterile looking. Very pretty ideas with the mirror frames and the wooden ladder, I'll probably do changes in these areas first. Thank you and stay awesome as you are 👍
Start with decor so you can spend a minimal amount to make a huge impact Kamila! 👍🏻
Farmhouse style finishes and colors with peal and stick wallpaper for one wall. Very calming and serene.
If you love it, go for it Rosemary 👍🏻
I love the font.
Me too!
Thanks Olive! Changing it up as we go ☺️
I love your input and style! For me the hardest part is having a cohesive home that is fuss free. Would love to get your company’s input if you do provide interior design consulting in Southern California.
Hi Deborah, you may contact me directly for business inquiries. My email is in the description box 👍🏻
I am a homeowner in Massachusetts and I was inquiring about your services in Massachusetts.
I’m in the process of redesigning the master bathroom and redecorating the entire home.
I had hired someone from the Atlanta area but a family event interfered with moving this project.
Love this video! Perfect for my bathroom renovation project❤️
Hope you got some good ideas 🙏🏻☺️
Look forward to see your DIY bathroom project! Keep it up, girl!
I can’t wait for my bathroom makeover! Need some new energy up in here!
Would love to see how to remove and add wallpaper correctly :O)
I’ve actually never done it myself Susan, I leave the hard stuff up to the pros for a high end install and finish.
I definitely made some mistakes in our bathrooms. I don’t have the heart to tell my husband. He’s a numbers guy, so full rip out of tiles is a no-no. My goal now, is to make the best of it with styling changes.
It’s never a “mistake” if it was intentional ☺️ But adding artwork and fresh greenery will liven up the space!
Thank you for the great tips as always!!!
Thank you for watching Darryl! 🙏🏻
Great tips! And I love the background music.
Thank you for watching Christine!
Whoops, I liked all the accent examples.
Lol do what you love Teresa! Don’t listen to me 😉
Teresa Hamilton, same here! LOL!
I don’t like the mirror over other mirrors look.
It’s a preference and just gives you some ideas to update the builder grade mirror
Experience transpires thought the video! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻
This is a great video, thanks. One small correction is that certain through-body porcelain tiles can be used like stone and have an exposed edge
This is handy if you prefer the look of a squared-off edge rather than bullnose or Schluter but don't want the expense of natural stone. The effect can be quite striking if done properly.
Thanks for the great tips!
Thank you so much. This has inspired me.
Awesome Neema! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Thanks for this content Julie, it really gave direction what to do, where to start and how to do it. Love it!
Thank you for watching Christine! 🙏🏻☺️
Love your energy and the great tips, will totally incorporate them in my new home
Thank you so much Adam! 🙏🏻
She is so good! All of it made so much sense!
Thank you for watching Ashima! 🙏🏻
Julie I LOVE your videos and style! I am sharing this particular one to my friend who is at this moment renovating her main washroom. 2 Thumbs Up.
Awesome! Hope these tips can help Debbie! 🙌🏻☺️
Great video Julie. I have two bathrooms that need to be remodeled so this is so helpful.
Me and you both Robin!!😅 Thank you for watching!
I learn so much from your shows. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
I just found your video and feel both inspired and intimidated anew! HELP! My bf and I have had to move in to my mother's house as she's not safe to live alone anymore, so we're trying to update the house to make it more sustainable for us. The bathroom needs serious attention, but I've been laid off for months, so we're DIY on a budget! So...very glad that won the poll, as I will now be subscribing! Some of the major issues I'm facing, is, well first off: all of it is 34+yrs old when they bought the house, and its fallen into worse wear since my dad passed over 6y ago. Replacing the tub would be too much, but I **NEED** to get rid of the idk...plastic-like wall surround they put in when I was a child, and has a melted candle hole to add to the 90's gaudiness. If it wasn't for the melted part, I'd have done a short term chic fix of just the Peel and Stick I've seen on some videos, right on top to freshen it up until we save for reno/decide to sell if she needs more care. But as it's not waterproof atm, (luckily it was an upper niche on the back wall with no direct water spray), it seems I won't get off that easily LOL!
Any advice to steer me in the right direction on how to easily replace that stuff?
Beyond that, I have the exciting part of finally (FINALLLLLYYY 😃) replacing the vanity, it's a floor one attached to two walls, likely the original one from '70's. Is there anything I should be weary of when ripping it out?
Thank you for Margaret! Unfortunately I wouldn’t put in the time or effort to salvage the linoleum surround. I would replace it completely with a new piece. They make updated tub + shower surrounds that you can replace in one whole piece from Home Depot. Very affordable vs. paying for new tile- check it out on their website and hire a local contractor that can swap it out for you. I think this is your best budget fix. Good luck!
Great tips and presentation. I am a designer too and totally agreed with all these ideas - its all in the details and thinking through everything!
Awesome Ginger, thank you for stopping by! 🙏🏻
Your uploads are so informative!!! This series is going to be epic. Tfs
Thank you for watching Tee 🙏🏻
Thank you, I loved it!!!
Yay thank you Heidi! 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for this very informative video!
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
this is so helpful!! we will be having bathroom reno and we don't have any plans yet thank you
Awesome, thanks for watching Pola!
I enjoyed your video. I’m in the middle of a remodel and you gave me a few things to think about. Thank you.
Awesome, hope you keep these tips in mind when the time comes KO 👍🏻☺️
We are right in the middle of a bathroom remodel. The bathroom is our master bath that was stuck in 1972 when the home was built. I celebrated Demo day. We actually went shopping with our designer for tile, flooring and cabinets , the only items purchased on line were the bath accessories, towel rack, cabinet handles and such. Can't wait till it's completed, maybe another two weeks.
That’s awesome! You’ll never look back 🙌🏻
Loved your video!! Struggling with a windowless basement bathroom. Just don’t know how to finish it - inclined towards tile but want something that will brighten it. I was thinking keep it a little raw and show some concrete, but also love the expensive flashy acrylic panels I found. I just don’t want to spend a ton of money but want it to look good. Also, prefer a timeless look so that it doesn’t look dated in 5 years!
I welcome any and all ideas. I think I will make a inspiration board, that was great advice bc there are so many options out there!
Keep it light and bright Jen- that means whiter finishes as opposed to darker grays (concrete) or natural wood unless it’s light. If you decide on something darker, layers of light from the ceiling and the walls is how you bring more brightness in
@@JulieKhuu Thanks for your response and your timing is fabulous as were were trying to make decisions this weekend. We were between two options one with some color, one more light and bright with a lot of white. We will go in that directions. Thanks!
