  • Though not exhaustive, this should cover all of the main options at the wall. There are subsets and nuances that I will add later if I do other videos on those parts (angle affecting oki to make things work that normally might not, character specifics, etc.).
    Edit: Less than 12 hours after putting this video up, I found more...
    ... turns out, with a wall to the right, after 3~!3:4 (mist trap), u/b+3 is actually guaranteed now, too. This puts it far in the lead for damage. Here's what can happen off of it:
    Stay down = 34 dmg, free f+3+4 (compact tech forces block)
    Stand = 50 (u/b+3, d/f+4)
    Wake up backward = 66 (u/b+3, d+4,N+4,u+3)
    Any kick = 85 ([CH]u/b+3, 4,u+3, f+4,3, d+3)
    For those who will inevitably ask about the notation (happens every video), please refer to the notation legend from Tekken Zaibatsu here: www.tekkenzaiba...

    Tekken is no longer a game, it's a science... Damn it's like you need a physics PhD to play this thing

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  7 років тому +7

      To be fair, it's been like this at a decent level of play for a long time. Finding the best ways to scale risk/reward (this is why I miss Lee's old T6/BR oki--safety) or take a shot for a comeback when low on life or time (riskier, damaging oki) has been around for a while.
      The good news it, there are other people labbing it and finding these things out now. Really, there always have been, but when I wrote stuff for T4, UA-cam wasn't really a thing. I don't know if my first concept combo videos from T4 even still exist today (when people were manually downloading on 56k). UA-cam certainly makes it a lot easier to spread information than before.
      While not a sport in the physical sense, I think Tekken is both a game and a sport in the way that Baseball or anything else are also both game and sport. There are different levels they can all be played at, and you can be sure that people competing will look for as much knowledge as they can find. =)

      Yea, I hate when I find something that didn't make it in the video though, and in this case less than 12 hours after finishing the video and putting it up (wall to right, 3~3:4, u/b+3 is guaranteed... found this just hours after putting this up, lol... strongest option by far when wall to right). =P

      If you see much play from me, it will as likely as not be tournament play. I am having trouble getting matches online since I live in Japan but have the English version of the game, and the default setting for language is not *any*. =[
      If I have some friends/other players over, I might try recording or streaming then.

      TZMurakumo no prob man. Its ok if its not tournemant plays. But can i get a tip? What if the opponents starts spamming 1,2,3. I cant manage to get out of their spam to counter their hits. Either i try to hit back with 1. Will still get hit by them, or do a armor move still gets interrupted. When i try to back dash or side step they always manages to catch up with me at their 2nd hit

    I really thank you for the tip
    Howerver I found some error after wall oki when you ground-hit HMS 4, after the hit, u+b 3 can be followed, but at this moment when the opponent tries to wake up preesing back, after ub3 the opponent can techroll, much farther to either side than the video shows, and finally f 3+4 whiffs, which makes a great chance to lanuch to opponent, I think you must be cautious in this case :(

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  6 років тому +1

      Yes, I found this is possible too (Sorry, the video is 9 months old already--was very early testing). They will spin differently though, so if you are good at watching for it, you can use it still when they won't roll too far. Otherwise, d/b+3+4 is probably a better option (some tracking, +4 on hit, -13 on block, hits grounded).

  • @yungsh0w

    Needed this,i already know some wall Enders.but these set ups are nice.would it be too much for you to make a video on his hms,i'm having a little trouble blocking right after I go into hms,even though I'm cancelling it in to block.

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  7 років тому +1

      Just because you cancel to HMS won't make stuff completely safe. In fact, sometimes it becomes less safe--it's really weird and depends on which move is canceled. For example, d+3 is -16, and d+3~4, [HMS] is -15, but FC,d/f+4 is -13, and FC,d/f+4~3 is -16 IIRC (gets a lot worse). Even with the HMS cancel this can be punished.

    Hey man pls help, do you have any options for when people tech roll? I believe doing the wall combo into HMS is probably the best option for an oki but if they guess correctly i wont get damage. Instead of a guaranteed oki is there a way to actually hit or catch the opponent tech rolling?

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  6 років тому

      There is wall tech catch stuff here:
      ua-cam.com/video/K34KlYBOZ14/v-deo.html
      It's pretty angle dependent though, and works easier at an angle but then requires adjustments for said angle. Overall, I wouldn't call it super consistent (hard to execute sometimes, too). The angle you get changes depending on the size of the opponent character, too, so all your follow-up combos vary depending on size class. You also have to sacrifice combo damage, and if they know the set-up they can see and just not tech.
      Basically, oki 50/50's got really bad in this game. Lee's wall oki game in T6:BR was amazing. Now it's almost non existent.
      If they tech out, step b+4~3, [HMS] and step d/b+3+4 are okay options. b+4 floors crouchers, safe on block. d/b+3+4 only -13 on block as a low, and plus on hit. Both have some tracking. Doesn't feel like amazing oki, but at least it's something.
      If they like to spring kick into you after d+3, you can just block it and resplat on the wall.

      @TZMurakumo  7 років тому +1

      I still miss his old oki games. =[
      I also found out that, after trying that wall tech stuff before, that the frames on [BT] d+1 changed in this game by 1, lol, so WS+2,3 isn't even guaranteed after the jump over d+1 anymore (only if they hold D/B to turn, granted that gives a huge combo... i13 still hits). I've gotta redo that video. WS+3,3,d/f+3,3 hits, though, regardless of how they turn with B or D/B. I've actually found some anti-Lee specific stuff to shut down some of the oki games, but it's really specific and you have to know exactly what you're trying for (like those throw to turn without CH things). I'll show you next time you're out this way.
      I think Kane's still gonna be in town when you get back. Murakumo apartment Tekken tournament 7? =D
      We can have a stream and get us on commentary with discussion on who's nerfed more, Lee or Lili, then complain about Ling being obviously over-buff and Namco refusing to nerf her (or buff others).

    • @kairi1004
      @kairi1004 7 років тому +1

      TZMurakumo I need you to explain all that you said in English lol contact Kane and let's do that commentary!

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  7 років тому

      Basically, WS+2,3 isn't guaranteed anymore off the tech catch, which makes me a sad Lee player.

    • @TheRottenPear95
      @TheRottenPear95 7 років тому

      TZMurakumo Care to elaborate on that a bit? Im trying that setup on myself and it seems that it is working. Am i doing something wrong and getting hit by that?

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  7 років тому

      I tried to recreate it with me on the defending side instead of the computer. In prior Tekkens, you could turn but get hit by i14 after a jumpover d+1. Now it only guarantees i13 (if you're close enough, WS+1 hits). By holding straight back, it will not block the i14. If they turn with D/B, you still get the full juggle from behind.
      Further, I found out that they can mash an attack in the tech and get CH by the low jab, which gives you move damage on the jab and large frame advantage, but no more follow-up and the wall behind you.
      So the jump-over d+1 gives WS+3,3,d/f+3,3, but they can actually even weaken that by using a throw to turn. Throws aren't considered CH, and turn instantly, so if you know you're gonna take a hit, it's a good way to turn. This means WS+3,3 still hits, but then the continuation is only a guessing game.
      The best now, then is if they tech up left. Because of the angle and the wall, the jump-over d+1 still guarantees WS+1 there (but not if they tech right). It's strange and on the side, so trying to CH to turn forward doesn't seem to work here, either. After the WS+1, f+3 series is guaranteed (WS+1 is like +9 or it looks like).
      ... because of the system changes and the things I THOUGHT I tested, but finding out the computer isn't exactly good for block testing, I will probably need to do a tech catch redux video.

    What is the main wall carry combo you are doing in this video?

  • @josejavierandresgimenez3962
    @josejavierandresgimenez3962 6 років тому

    Hi mate, i don’t know if someone told you but you forgot 4,3..wait for it.. 4(hitting low) i think it’s the most damaging option but has no okizeme and you can push last 4 too late and lose the combo ^^

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  6 років тому

      Yea, I learned about that hours after posting this video last year, lol. That along with, when there's a wall at right, after mist trap finish you can u/b+3 guaranteed (situational combo).
      4,3>4 is the most guaranteed damage of a normal ender (by 1? 2?) after a carry. However, if your combo is starting on the wall, b+2~f,N, f+4,3, d+3 does more damage because of how the scaling works.

  • @alondrehunt1820
    @alondrehunt1820 7 років тому +1

    How long did take you to get Lee's wall carry combos down. I'm having a hard time.

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  7 років тому +3

      I have been a Lee main since Tekken 4. The b+2 combos were introduced in BR, when came out when I was living in Korea in 2008-2009. It didn't take me that whole time to learn to b+2 combo, but it certainly helps me get back to it now (I basically didn't play TTT2 or T7 until FR came out with Lee in it again).
      With a lot of time in practice, it shouldn't really take years. It's just all about making the b+2 timing muscle memory so you don't have to think about it once you've started.

      @TZMurakumo  8 місяців тому

      I think UA-cam flagged it some years ago for copyright and forced me to use their software to remove it or something to keep the video listed. It originally had music and the hit effects were clearer.
      ... or maybe that was a different one, because track still appears at the end. I dunno, I'm confused, but it definitely wasn't like this. UA-cam went a little cray cray?

    • @TZMurakumo
      @TZMurakumo  2 роки тому

      This has been up a while (about 4.5 years). Anyway, it was a combination of me being new to Premiere, using clips recorded at different times (and apparently the recording program was using system volume), and also UA-cam removing the tracks that were used as music in it and *attempting* to normalize the non-track sounds.
