Oh great! I had wanted for so long that someone would react to this wonderful song.
The title actually is "Narrow way that beasts proceed" in Japanese. And the male singer is Hiroji Miyamoto, who is a lead singer of a rock band called Elephant Kashimashi. Hiroji is very popular and powerful singer in Japan, too. I hope you will excavate more of fantastic musicians of Japan!
Sheena Ringo writes songs at the intersection of jazz and rock, with the addition of electronics sometimes. Her group Tokyo Incident is incredibly beautiful in this
Oh, very cool, never've heard this song before and love it!
You need to react to the LIVE version of this song!! The energy is crazy
I’ve been following her for over 20 years now. Yes, she needs to come to the US!
Can you ask you to do a few more of her songs? TOKYO is my favorite.
She also has a band called Tokyo Jihen (Tokyo Incidents), which got me into her.
Beautiful track. More to Sheena Ringo!
Great track. One of my recent Ringo faves.
Ringo Shiina is already known overseas as a great artist, but I would like you to pay attention to the man she collaborated with on this song.
His name is Hiroji Miyamoto, and he is the vocalist and composer of the rock band "Elephant Kashimashi." He is now 58 years old (52 when this song was released) and has been active in Japan for many years, and he has a passionate voice that seems to be squeezed out. He had not collaborated with anyone until this song, but Ringo invited him to sing together at the recording of a famous TV show. In a magazine interview, Ringo said, "His voice is like a famous instrument, and it is my mission to pass on this Japanese treasure to future generations."
He sounds like he is singing freely and wildly, but if you look into his past, you will find that he developed his singing ability in his childhood in the country's youth choir, and not only was he entrusted with solos in the choir, but he even recorded and released a solo song that was broadcast on national television. I think he released his first record when he was about 10 years old.
↑ I was wrong. The choir he was in was a boys' choir run by the government. Due to a translation error, it became "countryside."
宮本さんの目だけギラついてるけど、くたびれて小汚い感じが本当にロックでかっこいいっす!
I recommend this live version.

ELEVENPLAY are the dancers.
Their choreographer is MIKIKO, who is also the choreographer for BABYMETAL and the choreographer/stage director for Perfume.
You've done BABYMETAL's song 'Brand New Day' (featuring Tim Henson and Scott Le Page form Polyphia), but I don't think you've covered any of their other songs.
'Monochrome' (from PIA Arena) would be a good choice for a fairly recent one.
And although it's not my genre of choice, Perfume are an amazing technopop/dancepop group.
They've been around since 2000. I might start with 'Tokyo Girl', 'Edge', or 'Pick Me Up'.
I believe the band members for this song are from Sheena Ringo's group Tokyo Jihen (Tokyo Incidents).
👍👍👍😄🤟

@@martinm1231 The titles are similar but they are completely different songs. Stop with the nonsense.
@@rosso757510 Recorded in 1969 - that makes it the first
@@martinm1231 No, it's a completely different song. It has nothing to do with Shiina Ringo's song. Liar.
